reblog shuuya kano kgpr marry kozakura tsubomi kido kousuke seto critai oh dear i'm starting to get carried away with other things so i've gotta finish this now if you do eventually make solo pieces for the leftover dans though i think i'd still be very eager to return for those 🐈‍⬛ maybe something for next august 15th? i'd wait anyways the combining of different mv themes is really cool and i like they way you worked them together in this composition everyone has their own sort of layer so it feels like you're unravelling down from 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 like a minecraft dropper level <- i have no idea how else to refer to it marry framing the comp with the white sheet really brings it all together like she's uncovering the stories i'm not super familiar with her songs tbh but i feel like that makes sense? with her? also tryna shield herself with it sorta is cute i like the shape of it btw it has a nice guiding eye effect and just looks cool idk the black loomy shadows right beneath it for kanoooo ma boyyy and they've got mysterious spray paint markings hidden among them i like the ones that are like shadows for his legs very cool with the bleed effect too 👁️ what do the stars mean though... love that you drew kano <3 he's so cute with his sillie smile and lounging pose lying in the shadows i also like how his lines kinda have this shine to them in the shadows and red highlights in the light idk i really like that for him!! seto and little seto are cute beneath the dappled light and the way he's looking out at us like he's reading our mind maybe kido!! finally we get to see her fully she looks great the shapes of her hair are so satisfying including the ones peeking in from the side the way you used this familiar setting with the layering and greenery and then the open window to frame kido?? i loove her song integration the way the light falls over her face is so pretty <3 i quite like the splashes of colour you leave around the place in your rendering nooo your file crashing ;o; i didn't get to see any concept sketches for this so i'm curious if you had other ideas too or if this was literally done straight ahead real quick for ayano the way she's like hugging herself and the pages flowing through like yay she saved them!! but nooo her scarf is trailing up like she's falling and the pages are flying out from her grasp so like aw she does so much 🥺

reblog drrr shizaya or something izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima theyyyyy and the EXPRESSION potatofu shizayaweek2021 i love the composition with ''all the city’s roaring as if izaya leaving didn't deserve even a minute of silence'' obligatory quote from the gift of hands i apologise how it’s raining but everyone just covers up and moves on with their day it's just shizuo who hasn't changed because he's still stuck in time with the memory of izaya ugh why are they like this the boys look so good here too izaya that thin bastard with his puffy coat and ratty hair the pinkish red is such a pretty colour and shizuooo the shading on his hair and everything feels very soft hooo the way you obscure his eyes with the shades but with that slightly raised eyebrow and the cigarette loose in his mouth how do i describe that shizuo is rarely not >:\ in some capacity y'know he looks resigned or just lost because izaya isn't hasn't been here for shizuo to take his feelings out the only way he knows how is it the absence of feeling or the weight of it that feels so foreign to him

Last movie/show: The Zookeepers Wife (with my mom) and uh, Dungeon Meshi. Last show I finished in full was Steins;Gate (feels so long ago). I think last book would be a more interesting question for me to answer here

Relationship status: Blissfully single

Last thing I googled: Have to disappoint people in that I only look up practical things like “How long do navel oranges last” and “How long does bottled soda last in the fridge” and “How long do pickles last” (notice a theme here)

Current obsession: Homestuck (permanently ingrained in my brain, does it really count?), min-maxing in Fire Emblem Three Houses (I come in for Edelgard and stay to try to make broken builds), meta analysis of media that nobody asked for... I’m reluctant to put anything school related here but unfortunately schoolwork is always on the mind…

reblog drrr comic shizaya speaking of a cheap imitation shigaeru woah i seriously never made it past tagging chapter 3 the boys hadn't even met (again) yet!! trying to remedy this rn i really love that first page composition how the establishing shot of action with its environment frame the following panels guiding the eye across the page diagonally like that for the passage of time and the way light sorta spotlights the shoe? helps direct attention to the action before the environment settles into view the transition from the pitch black of shizuo's thoughts pulling out into his search really sets the tone for his more tempered rage here was that an intentional contrast to the hard white at the end of the last chapter? anyways the panel of shizuo pushing up that massive branch or ducking under it endearing to me haha i love your irregularly shaped trees that you also use to frame like this wide shot of shizuo your forest is so gorgeouuus with all the textures and colour grading you put over it the dappled light filtering through the trees and cascading over shizuo <3 oh i'm all over the place but i also like the way you translated the flow of his thoughts here into the comic medium the added “he-- fuck.” and pacing them out across the action the way you did really captures that “almost in a state of calm” and “oil for the mechanical motions of limbs and muscles” feel that one long panel dedicated to “kill him” and the thick scribbles of his rage izaya's huddled form behind the tree <3 ripping the tree out from the ground with the torn panel that also doubles as dirt silhouette and just flows into the next tree wowww the crraaaack also having the cracked lettering his shadow looming over izaya's form and the blood on his cheek coming into view first nice shot progression i really like these expressions on these last panels and the way the monochromes compliment the mood the huddled izaya at the end so small and rounded edges <333

While trying my best not to give away a lot of spoilers- YE!!!

Tsukku and Shini have a special file where they put ideas for tormenting Izaya and Shizuo that Izaya specifically gave them without realizing it.

Shizuo is a terrible roommate.

Izaya does not do well in cafeteria situations.

Ichi-san would probably have tea with Shizuo if the other would THINK to ask him (wow Shizuo get a clue.).

The bathroom is a very common meeting place for deep philosophical conversations. As is the car.

Izaya really likes laying on the floor. Shizuo doesn’t like it.

The key to prison life is a healthy balance of suffering or labor. Izaya and Shizuo are both inclined towards one more unevenly than the other and thus- the coin remains unflipped.

I have a fondness for swings so please expect a swing chapter. It’ll probably be a pretty crucial part of the story too.
