okay so I'm having a debate with my flatmates
are these all different things and if so what do you call them
The second installment of my ongoing little warhammer project. I’ve decided the armor is like the anatomy-whatever I think works that day. I forgot my brush pen at home unfortunately, so I inked this in a random school pen.
Another older piece of art.
Thanks! Moira was a ton of fun to draw-tho I’ll admit I guessed on the pants and height a little.
@moociaoafterdark I wasn’t sure if you were thinking a reblog or an @ but here ya go. Sorry about the eraser smudges! Hope things are still readable.
Kitty acting like she herself is not a war criminal (albeit very, very retired)…but to be completely fair; she was specifically very against the enslavement bit. When she found herself married to an enslaving war criminal, she got herself a nice little annulment and a black widow reputation.
Alrighty at long last fake skin line lore. Yay! Heads up this draws a lot from the German bedtime stories I was raised on, especially the brothers Grimm, and thus draws a lot from the kind of religious undertones and general peculiarities those have. It’s also super rough and more outline-y than anything. If anything is confusing lmk
Original post:
Once upon a time there was a land with many holy times. During holy times people ought to refrain from unholy activities; partaking of drink, violence, and other bestial urges. One year the king and queen broke the ‘fast’ on these detail urges during the holy times. And the angel Kayle descended and cursed them, saying that if they could not resist temptation to act like animals for even a week than their child wouldn’t be able to resist them for a day in her life.
Nine months later, the princess Briar is born cursed to be a violent bloodthirsty beast. Luckily, her fairy godmother Morgana gives her a pillory that allows her to be in human form and mostly normal. When she grows up, she goes adventuring to try and break the curse entirely so she can get married.
A similar situation played out in the neighboring kingdom except a few months earlier, when their monarchs broke the fast on gluttony.
She has three trials where she’s tempted to do something verboten and resists all three times, at some point acquiring a beastly friend to help her do this that’s wearing a weird torn cloak. At the end of the trials, she is rewarded with a broken curse and the beastly friend turning back into his true form as a prince of the neighboring kingdom, where they go and prove his identity as Prince Talon with the torn cloak he’s been wearing.
They get married and stay friends till the end of their days, happily ever after.
A little doodle of Kitty with more ‘realistic’ proportions (quotations because she’s still cartoony as heck but with more sense for detail and construction). Forgot to color in her eyes, but those would be gray. She’s actually quite pale, because she hasn’t been off the rock in centuries, but otherwise is blessed with a face quite befitting her job. There’s something about a soft face, strong brows, and a little gap in the teeth that strikes me as very jesterly. No wonder that’s what task an ancient dark angels chapter master stuck her with when they took her in all those years ago.
The final Noxian Christmas comic strip, I think. I’m gonna do a couple more illustrations along this line, along with a detailed post about who got who what horribly misguided gift, but this is the last colored four panel comic I think I have in me. It also seems to be the last one my markers have in them. also, and this is based on nothing but my own imagination and sense of humor, but Talon totally hates when Cassiopeia visits because she drags him to high society events he can’t stand. Cassiopeia, who has banned Kat and Tal from going to any such events without her supervision so they can’t embarrass the family, finds this terribly unreasonable. She doesn’t make him go any the rest of the year. Katarina remains oblivious and thus neutral.
It’s not a joke, but enjoy a fool for this April fools day!
This is in the far future of the Lion’s Jester timeline, once Lion actually gets back to the Rock
I continue to progress with both watercolor and bizarre times. Happy April fools for the three people still awake
