Taking advantage of 3 dollar movie weekend as we say goodbye to summer. It’s been a good month since I been in the movies. I always get inspired by movies based on true stories. Ok, so this concert is finally here, two years in the making due to Co-Vid, but tonight I get to check off seeing another legend -Elton John in concert. Obviously, this guy has so many hits but I remember growing up to Crocodile Rock playing on the radio. So, keep pursuing your dreams and never give up on them. This easily could be one of my highlights of the Summer 2022, on an absolutely gorgeous summer night hanging out at Jones Beach to hear Chicago- my favorite band with Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys. 2 absolute legends in the music industry. I have been fortunate enough to see them both individually but never together and yes, naturally I won the tickets from Max-FM. Still go a lot of summer left, so go make it the best one yet! You all know my motto is make every day your masterpiece, so as I finished up my matinee of Come From Away, I stayed into the city to now catch Hugh Jackman in @the Music Man. “ This show has extra special fondness for me for 3 reasons- one- huge Hugh Jackman fan, 2-I did this show in high school and 3- then my son Kevin did it as well during his high school. Well another weekend upon us, and I have the opportunity to see another concert courtesy of #Oldies 98.1. As a lover of music whenever I get a chance to see the music I grew up on, I do it. It allows me to make a new memory as well as relive the great memories of the past! As another week kicks off, I get another opportunity to enjoy a night out this time taking another Big Yankee fan like my wife, Erik to enjoy a game. As another weekend is upon us, I have another opportunity to see and listen to the music I grew up on. Growing up in the 70’s I remember listening 770am WABC with Ron Lundy, Harry Harrison and some of the artists that I will hear tonight. It puts a huge smile when I can to the radio like WCBS or Big Hits 98 and hear these artists and then say I have seen them. What a tremendous blessing.
