Anyway I’m bored and have google docs on my phone, been too long since I last did this so please, ASK AWAY BITCHES!!!

I have Jersey headcanons and gosh darn it, it's a tad long, so I'm only doing like one page at a time, I'll post the other ones later probably...if I remember. ANYWAY HERE!!

New Jersey

Constantly moving, either tapping his foot or moving his legs, always dancing too, if there’s music he’s moving

He also tends to sing whatever song is on his mind, whether it’s English or not

He knows all of the states comfort foods

Controls the entire StateHouse garden, and is the reason there is a flower garden, if you want a flower in that garden you talk to him to figure out where said flower needs to go and what conditions it needs

He and New Mexico managed to convince Gov to let them have a pool at the StateHouse

When he was learning the south’s comfort foods, he managed to convince Texas to teach him how to make a brisket, yes it’s not really any of the south’s comfort food but it’s a southern thing so of course he needed to learn

When angry he’ll switch into different accents, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, and surprisingly to some, southern

South Jersey is pretty southern, one of his comfort foods is grits

When he hosts NE dinner at his home, he makes sure to add in dishes that are shared favorites

Any and all produce that can be grown in NJ climate, is grown in his back garden with all the accommodation they need

Mafia boss, he doesn’t partake anymore and technically the guy he was is dead but still, the power remains

Used to be a show boy, occasionally still is with Nevada

Just mildly obsessed with roller coasters

During the summer, if he’s not at the shore then he’s most likely at Great Adventure

While it’s not his favorite game, he LOVES to play Just Dance

His room is actually in the south hall instead of the north, he’s between Texas and Oklahoma, he switched with New Mexico because he would have had to be between Penn and Mass and he would rather die than be between that warzone

Has lots of animals on his farm but his favorite are his horses, a few of which he was given by Kentucky

Taught Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio how to play poker and blackjack, the only thing is, is that Jersey taught them how to cheat without them knowing

Jersey never actually cheats in card and money games, he just knows how to play

Stopped talking to Nevada in the 80s because of Atlantic City, Nevada understood it was because they were rivals and also the mafia but it doesn’t stop Jersey from feeling bad about it

Despite what everyone tends to think, Jersey likes to keep to himself and is relativity quiet for the most part, it just so happens that he is normally around people that he either likes (NY, NM, NH, Cali, Rhode, Del) or has strong feelings about (Mass, Penn, NY, Connecticut, Virginia), which makes him loud

SNOW!!!!!

Okay so, it snowed a few days ago and of course I was super stoked because snow, and I knew that more was on the horizon for Saturday.

So it’s Saturday. It’s the first day of Presidents Day Weekend, the day of the Flyers V. Devils Stadium game. It’s also the day I was meant to go ice skating again.

I’ve been going through what I call “Skate withdrawl” since it’s been almost a month since I last gone skating. I was finally able to get my poppy to bring me today, and yes I knew there would be snow but it went from a Winter Weathert Advisory to a Winter Weather Warning because it’s a full blown storm baybeeeee.

I’m sad that I’ll have to wait to go tomorrow BUT I am happy we got way more snow than predicted, so I guess I can’t be too sad.

What states do you headcanon play hockey, and what positions do they play?

HIA, it hasn't been 2 days, what are you talking about? Anyway I got them all down finally, I'm not gonna say they all make sense but most of them have a team so it's finneee...probably?

HOCKEY STATES WOOOOOO-

Jersey: Defense, left-wing

New York: Forward, center

Massachusetts: Forward, right-wing

Connecticut: Defense, right-wing (doesn’t play anymore)

Pennsylvania: Forward, center

Gov: Defense, left-wing (barely has anytime to play but tries to when he can)

Rhode: Defense, right-wing

North Carolina: Forward, left-wing

South Carolina: Defense, right-wing

Alabama: Forward, center (only plays roller hockey, college football offseason)

Missouri: Defense, right-wing (only plays roller hockey)

Tennessee: Defense, left-wing (doesn’t play often)

Arizona: Forward, right-wing

Colorado: Defense: right-wing

Minnesota: Forward, left-wing

Oregon: Defense, left-wing

Montana: Forward, center

I feel like most of these are self explanatory, like NY Jersey and other NE states, but others I may have to explain I think...oops?

Okay so, the Carolinas playing isn't really THAT surprising, they have a team (I don't know which state the team belongs too and I am perfectly fine not knowing lol), same with Tennessee, Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, and Missouri.

Now Alabama on the other hand, football offseason, literally only roller hockey, besides ya know...violence. Hockey can be a very southern sport when you think about it.

Gov plays because once again, North East, but also because I have a feeling he would be very into the Washington Capitals. It isn't like he gets the chance to play often but when it's a slow winter day he can and will go and play on a lake somewhere with the NE states.

Connecticut doesn't play anymore because he is dramatic (RIP the Whalers, you will be missed until Carolina pulls out the jerseys again), and probably because of injuries or something, he's mainly just dramatic.

Anyway won't lie, this list is mainly off of vibes and whether or not they have a team. For example, California has three teams and yet it is impossible for me to see that man play any sport except maybe beach volleyball. Meanwhile Rhodey is on here and yet he doesn't have a team, I can just see him using hockey as a way to remove stress, it's therapy but WAAYYY more expensive.

Hehe I was super excited to do this one but sadly I do things in order of oldest to newest BUT none the less, here you go, our favorite stupid bastards

New Jersey and New York-

Jersey likes to cuddle and York likes receiving cuddles, so it isn’t uncommon to find the two together in the North living room

Jersey = Jer-bear, York = Yorka-doodle, they never call each other these in front of others

They go skating a ton, early morning public skate and public hockey are mainly what they do

Always fighting when it comes to certain foods, specifically pizza and bagels, otherwise they are perfect with each other in the kitchen

Jersey sends York stupid stuff from Tumblr, York does the same but with Twitter

Impromptu sleepovers in York's room happen a lot, York has sleep problems and as said before, Jersey cuddles, win win sitch

They fight, a lot, technically it’s just arguments but to pretty much everyone except the NE, it sounds like fighting (granted the NE sometimes thinks they are genuinely fighting but shh)

“Murder is illegal”  “You can’t murder people it’s rude” etc. are said whenever they are in the city

Despite not talking to each other for about 40ish years, they went right back to how they were before, if just a bit closer

They both fake hate each other, for no reason other than seeing the shocked faces of the other states while they simply cook breakfast together

Just Dance Night (the other states get flashbacks when ever they hear the Just Dance intro)

They like to just exist in the same space, doesn’t matter if they are doing two completely different things, they’ll continue to hang out VIRGINIA

They bet on everything, who will get to the table faster, who will make breakfast the quickest without messing up, everything

They always think to message the other first when something is happening, doesn’t matter if the sitch doesn’t really need the other, they still will

Since Jersey still speaks fluent Dutch and York has his broken messed up Dutch that Jersey understands, they will ‘gossip’ to each other in front of the other states

When they do that, they are really just talking about dinner plans and what movies they should see, but in the most condescending and judgmental tone they can

Movie dates, any movie whether they think it’ll be good or not

They sometimes come of as very big and little brother coded, York being the older while Jerseys the younger, when in reality it’s switched

Jersey finds it hilarious whenever people think he and York are dating, they aren’t, they consider each other brothers and technically are, York always wants to kill the people who do think they are dating, “Murder is Illegal Yorkie” he doesn’t care

Family dinners are once a month with Jersey’s moms and occasionally not, father, father, and York's grandparents

They have so much dirt on each other that if one says something so will the other, you know the nuclear deal between America and Russia? Yeah it’s basically that but with blackmail

If one’s sick the others clingy, if one's sad the others clingy, if one-

They like to dance with each other, even if there’s no music (it’s mainly spinning without music though)

Jersey has bad English days sometimes, so York will translate, on those days they tend to just haul up in York's room and put on a random Hockey game

Human: *absolutely seething and takes a deeeeeepppp breath*

It's not been almost a whole day, I don't know what your on about. Seriously though sorry this is late, I wanted to get it done yesterday but sadly I do have a friend who also likes hockey so, anyway ENJOY!!!

Texas-

He can sing and play the guitar really well

Big ol’ stargazer, was very sad when he realized that the StateHouse wasn’t in the best location to stargaze

He doesn’t agree with a lot of what happens in his state, not that he has much of a choice but if asked in private he makes his opinion pretty known

Will occasionally drink a glass of oil, yea know, for the funnies, the other states are absolutely disgusted, even the ones with oil drilling

He’s never actually done drugs, like it was very tempting at one point but he never actually tried it and doesn’t plan too

Owns a dirt bike and bought a few other southern states one as well to do races

He’s smart, but specifically the stupid kind of smart, the kind of smart that got a super collider built but dumb enough to not be able to convince the government to keep throwing money into the project (this is real, this did happen and I love it so much it’s so interesting)

Manipulative bastard (affectionate??)

He doesn’t always dress like he’s a cowboy from the deep south, he actually has a lot of what the NE states call “normal people clothes”, he just prefers to dress like what he is, a gay cowboy

Was the one who started the southern Minecraft server, mainly so he could bomb Oklahomo legally

This was just a random idea I had. In my brain Central Jersey is the Jersey that shows the most, problem is is since CJ is so...let's go with disconnected, with the rest of the country he gets overwhelmed, and sure North could just switch in and South could do the same if they all wanted to scare the others with a southern accent that has the slang of the California coast, but watching a place that doesn't exist (it totally does btw) is way funnier.

Besides, by now all the other states that aren't the OG13 think that New Jersey has brown-looks red in certain light-eyes and it would scare the devil out of 'em if they see the red eyes that North actually has (and considering it's HIS body, it is far to tempting).

Also is it obvious that I love the idea that it's the Jersey's and not just Jersey, like I live here, if it's one singular state then I'm from Pennsylvania (I may have been born there but I sure as heaven ain't from there). Jersey would be three different states if we wanted to be associated with the rest of the country more than we already are, that and we may not agree on things but we don't HATE each other, we leave that for the rest of the country (plus let's be real, central wouldn't exist and then what would north and south argue about?)

Anyway as a proud Centralian looking at the news of the rest of the country is overwhelming, I just want to go skating, to the arcade, and continue lovin our favorite Devil, and down the shore when it's nice (and no, down don't mean literally down, though normally we are going down).

There was a fire on my street, I think it was some sort of kitchen fire but I'm not sure. Nobody was hurt thank god and it seemed the fire only effected the inside, however I didn't get the chance to look at the front.

I missed the actual fire BUT I got to see the fire trucks and OMIGOSH they are epic as all hell, like I know that firetrucks are so cool but MY GOD did I not realize just how cool. I've been close to firetrucks before like this isn't the first time but seeing it from the perspective that theres an active fire makes them WAAAAYYYY more badass.

I felt like I had to share this because FIRETRUCKS!!!!
