Decided to dust this blog off to post something of my own for once Here's busts of the entire jade winglet, sans Peril. So, from left to right: Moon, Winter, Qibli, Umber, Carnelian, Turtle and Kinkajou.
This the first time i've made a design of Turtle that i actually like. idk the dark greens and blues just work well together here. Hope Kinkajou isn't too bright.

GENERAL/BASIC INFO
My main name is Felix but Ruix or Robin work as well. My pronouns are he/it but I don't particularly mind they/them or she/her. He/him and it/its are just my preferred pair. I live in Canada, which, in terms of pop culture and [most] slang, is pretty much the same as the US.
INTERESTS
These change all the time, this is still the same. Please do not follow me for a singular fandom as it is unlikely that I'll continuously post for it. I get fixated on something for a little bit and then move on, though somewhat steady fandoms have been the Riordanverse [specifically the mythologies series' and spin-offs] and Genshin Impact. My own PJO inspired OCs are my main interests, however.
CONTENT
Mainly shitposts about my current interest(s), and if I feel confident enough, oneshots about a character or pairing that I enjoy. Reblogs of random things that I enjoy will be scattered throughout, but I generally try to keep those to my sideblogs [which are not yet properly set up but I'll get to them. Eventually]. I might do miscellaneous writing prompts and post them here. Quality is absolutely not guaranteed because most internet things I do are for fun and not serious at all.
TAGS
I use the most commonly used/accepted fandom tags for pairings, characters, and everything else. For my own, I'll use #reblog for reblogs, obviously, and #og ruix for any original posts of mine. I...will try to remember to put the date in the tags, in the #DD/MM/YYYY format. Other than that, I will be tagging trigger warnings for things such as: substances [illegal or legal], depictions of violence/death, flashing lights or eyestrain, etc. I will NOT be tagging for swearing.

Cricket likes any mushy love song, and also songs she can relate to her predicament being an outsider in her own tribe. Tsunami is a sucker for any rock with a good guitar solo, but a good rhythm for reps is a near must.
Blue and Luna share earbuds on the subway on the way to Silkworm Hall. Blue prefers soft songs about support and understanding, and Luna likes anything about freedom and quiet happiness.
I've never actually played with anthro designs for these guys, and I'm pretty excited to try more :)

i swear to god the smell of this shit. i always take a sniff contantly and fidget with the cap so the smell comes out and it's better than my damn gum. for reference i eat like half a pack of gum at school every day shehegwgus.
point is that mine melted in the dryer so can someone get me some other lipbalms with other scents (if there are any) or give me recommendations

Ethical AI usage has plenty of room for the “wow!” and “this is so fun!” factor, among other personal uses. I just think that right now, the dataset acquisition is reprehensible, the enrichment of the company owners at the expense of artists is the absolute worst of capitalist amorality, and AI art is not capable of providing a net positive to culture until these issues are resolved.
There is not really any ethical use of AI to generate art if you aren’t using your own datasets and running it on your computer.
With big companies like Midjourney, you will be using datasets acquired without consent. You will also be providing more data and money to help the business do better theft.
I totally get why it’s fun. It feels like visualizing dreams. Referencing things that are familiar in this surreal ways. I love that some folks seem to be having this cool community experience with it, sharing things and learning. It must feel enriching.
I wish that the system that your joy enriches were not *so terrible*. They do not deserve you.
My ire is always aimed at the system, the moneybags, not the people who are navigating the same moral complexities I am and often reaching different but equally valid conclusions.
That said, I am asking friends of mine who do it for fun to consider if this is the fun you have to do? There are *so many* fun artistic pursuits. Right now this one is on the forefront of everyone’s minds because it’s novel, but…we don’t have to do it.
We don’t have to help the people hurting artists because we are having fun with it.
