Yay! I finally get to post this!

This is a thing I did for a friend of mine @lavendertoonz, for a secret santa OC drawing exchange between us and a bunch of our friends. Their OC is Isabelle, I don't know much about her but she is very pretty, her creator is an amazing human being and I had a lot of fun making this.

Words cannot express how much fun it was seeing what everyone came up with and the joy radiating from our receivers, very much hope to do this again next year and would absolutely reccomend doing it with your art friends if you can.

No no! I don’t mind! Probably good to give an update anyway

Blood Born is in this really annoying place for me at the moment where I’m way too excited about writing it, but keep running into the same wall. That plus the joys of entering adulthood and starting uni have made it difficult to find the time to sit down and adequately write for a few years now, but god I haven’t stopped trying to write it. It’s one of those ideas I’m still really excited about, especially since I put so much work into planning it, so to answer your question I 100% plan to continue the story… it just might be a bit before I finally manage to slay the monster that is writing block.

For now I’ve been oscillating between trying to make this next chapter work (Dw it’s a long one) and trying to beat this thing by confronting some of the stuff I find harder to write or feel like I could have done better in Blood Born through one shots and my personal whump challenge, because sometimes the only thing that helps is to try something different until you feel better about stepping back in to the fray. It’s getting there, slower than I’d like, but progress is progress no matter how small.

But for the time being please just know I am sorry you’ve all had to wait this long already, thank you so much for your patience <3

Thinking of rebranding, been stuck with this awkwardly feminine username for far too long, and just like my dead name there comes a time where I just don’t wanna keep using it

So thanks little 8 year old me for the idea and the memories associated with them but just like this names origins, I think it’s time we attempt to move past trying to fit a mold.

Whump Prompt for y’all

So, y’all know about wood burning kits right?

These little tool things that are literally red hot at the ends that people use to burn cool patterns into wood?

Been seeing a lot of ads for them recently, which is sad because I know I will never have the time or the money to try it.

But then I had a thought… an awful terrible whumpy idea I thought I might share with you.

Y’all know the whole brutal serial killer shebang, ‘making art’ on our poor hapless Whumpee, y’all have heard about branding, but have you considered ‘torture through drawing pretty patterns or words with iron wood burning tools’?

Idk may write this at some point, but boy would I pay good money for some quality whump and hurt/comfort featuring this concept and the horrible but calculated scars that could result.
