Another one of the Peeta moments that rot in my brain constantly is the scene in catching fire when Katniss and Finnick get stuck with the Jabberjays.
Peeta had his hands pressed against the force field, trying so so hard to be there for her and wanting so badly to protect her. And when it finally ended he held her, and rocked her, and let her hide her face in his arms, and protected her for as long as she needed him to and…..that’s just so ughhhh….so heartbreakingly sweet.
I decided to reread one of my favorite books from like...sophomore year of high school (?) and now my brains broken

Listen I know that none of us are huge Gale fans here
But I think we can acknowledge the tragedy of having one person you trust with everything you are, only to be complete strangers by the end
....I was crying over Yeti by Paris Paloma at 10 AM today can you tell?
Some of the Careers I've come up with for the 71st Hunger Games. I'm not technically writing a OC games type story (Its about Annie as a mentor) but they're in there.
There's this art challenge going around where you draw in the opposite art style of your own and it sounds really fun but..
how does everyone know what their art styles looks like??
Especially enough to draw the opposite???
I’m sure someone else has already said it but…
With how obsessed some studios are which short seasons (with long episodes & single seasons too) adapting songbirds where each part is two episodes would’ve been great.
The movie left so much out and doesn’t do a good job of depicting Snow’s psychological/philosophical journey. I get that it is hard to make internal narration show when adapted for viewing, but there are ways especially if the teams have more time to work with. (Playing with light and perspective or even voiceovers.) The movie also missed out on some cool characters like the nightclub owners, Ma, and the rest of the Peacekeepers and Covey too.
Even as a two+ hour movie, if you haven’t read the book you lose a lot of the context.
December 2022 VS December 2023
The ending they deserved :(
The only family he has.
Katniss, during almost the entirety of the trilogy: I don't want kids but I want Peeta to have children so much. He is so dad-shaped it hurts, Imagining his kids running in the meadow in 12 brings me so much joy..
Peeta: has never, not once, expressed any desire to have kids before the epilogue
