- late night doodle of usagi for tonight’s therapeutic session
I often exude bastard energy in person. This is basically also the holding knife to the cat meme but the cat has the knife. I wasn't tagged but this seemed fun soooo -

Why are your thoughts on the Yagami Yato racial insesitivity allegations?
I can only assume you meant "what are my thoughts" - autocorrect, what are you doing?
... I'm just using humor to deflect again - yikes.
Hoo boy, that’s something to dive into. Uh, this is something I really didn’t expect to get into like this but I'm not quite as well worded as I will be in my past posts over this type of discourse since it’s like... Late.
Everything's gonna be under the cut since well... I ramble and negativity is not the name of the game.
As a POC myself - specially as an East Asian where the culture of anime itself originates... I'm sort of pulled on this whole deal?
I can't really speak on the front of others but I can speak for myself and what I know and how I feel. I don't know a whole lot about everything but I'm aware of a couple instances that do make me sort of really twist my nerves.
I remember her explaining in the same video "Addressing the Drama" where she goes over things like that. I remember her explaining that some of her videos are inspired or dealt with more real-life problems.
Specifically where she claims she had taken inspiration from the BLM movement into her fantasy series; specifically Devil Prince Shouto. I'm not speaking for her but I assume she meant that as an infernal creature, Shouto was on the receiving end of discrimination from humans because of his race.
I see no issue with that per say, but it is not up to me to forgive or forget.
I definitely see that people find it as a way for her to plug without actually giving support or using it as a way to get people off of her back.
Mostly since we have no record of her even considering donating for the cause or even asking for others to donate.
There was another instance that someone apparently had seen or heard CeCe refer to "mayo monkey" as a slur?
If I'm mistaken on any of this, please correct me and give me some evidence.
Don't get me wrong, I believe that we can be racist towards Caucasians but it's somewhat difficult to be not at least a little critical because of the tumultuous relations between them and POC. But like with most things; it’s like when we say “white people” - the non-racists know that we ain’t talking about them.
I think my biggest issue is that she doesn't address anything having to do with these new allegations and as a 20-something year old woman, I feel it's only right for her to step forward like an adult and handle this well. Issue some sort of explanation.
I don't have any other big issues right now but I'll be keeping my eye out for anything else.

@satokohojoz
Thank you for clarification and corrections.
It still does not excuse the situation at all. She still did something that needs to be addressed and spoken of.
Despite being POC(she has no big reasons to lie about this, though if she is... we have bigger problems), it’s unclear if she’s done research into her own culture - but it should be common sense to be conscious toward other races as well.
I’m not really sure how to feel on this whole thing still, but being a blind supporter isn’t my bag. I’ll try to look more into things.
Edit (2/7/2021 @ 5:36 AM): I am no longer in support YY, I did once when she readily provided evidence and gave us proof... But she isn't taking responsibility or providing a defense. So I am DONE.
Everyone should know the international sign for Help Me. Let’s make this famous!!
My thoughts are that Dadzawa is a legit thing, he would probably adopt the entire 1-A class if they’d want him to. And it’s definitely canon that him and Mic have adopted Shinsou. They’re doing an amazing job as parents, aren’t they?
If you don't mind, may I request some art refs for monster fangs/teeth.
Using references is the most important step. After you get the hang out of shapes, you can start and experiment with different angles and make it more cartoonish, depending on what you want.
Hope it helps!
“Hello, my name is Sharlene Pike and I am a black transgender person originating from South Africa and working as a receptionist/host. I moved to the United States 4 years ago alone and without any support, as my parents died in my home country when I was 18. Being a transgender black female immigrant places three discrimination barriers and makes it extremely hard to socialize and find a job to live properly. Nevertheless, I tried my best. I had been working at 7 different companies as a receptionist/host/waitress for these four years, but 2 months ago I lost my job. The reasoning I was given - ‘staff reduction due to COVID-19 complications’. I have been unemployed for these 2 months, but the reason I can’t start a new job is not COVID-19. In February, I was diagnosed with stage-3 esophageal cancer. I had no prior knowledge of my diagnosis as this type of cancer can be quite concealed, and I had only two or three weeks of eating discomfort before I had a medical consultation. The company I was working at had a special program to support staff members who need expensive surgeries or therapies, and I believe my diagnosis was the true reason I was reduced, since it happened just after I told my office I might need an extended medical leave. The sum I have spent on the medical procedures only to clarify the future treatment equals my 3 salaries. The sum I’m asking for is actually covering first 6 months of treatment and the cheapest drug - basically simply to have a chance to survive. I have no health insurance and I can’t take a new job because my health condition significantly deteriorated. The thing that I have learnt throughout these months is that it is very hard to get any, even basic medical help if you are transgender. The death rate of the esophageal cancer is about 30%, which is very high, and I ask you to help me to have a chance to survive. I tried to deal with everything without anyone by my side, but current circumstances left me with no choice but to ask you to donate and share my story. Thank you very much.”
this gofundme was started on june 19th, 2020 and as of june 30th, 2020 she still needs donations! i’ll reblog with the donation link in one moment.
The only reason I knew Sailor Moon / DBZ were both anime was because my cousins helped me differentiate early on. (I rewatched the first and second season semi-recently and wow, my heart hurts)
But if you’re talking my first full on kick into the anime scene was a Naruto hyperfixation that grabbed me by the throat at 9 years old.
I didn’t watch Death Note until middle school.
I did end up rediscovering my love for both Sailor Moon and DBZ in my adult years
Everyone’s starter anime is death note.
I don’t count sailor moon or dbz cuz you watched those as a kid and assumed they were cartoons.
I mean when you got “into” anime fully aware of what it was and actually became immmmmmersed in this bizarre weeb culture.
It’s usually death note.
This is actually HUGE!
People with chronic illnesses, or people recovering from illness or accidents often have outrageous medical bills that they have to pay off. When medical debt is recorded on credit reports it makes it harder to borrow money, buy a home, get a car, etc. All these make it harder to work, live, and pay off the medical debt.
If this doesn't effect you, congrats, but it is an incredibly important thing for a lot of people.
