As a regular teenager with hormones, Jotaro's bound to crush on someone even if he tries his hardest not to.
When Jotaro meets you walking into his life with your dynamic demeanor, he's stunned and something in his chest does this weird tightening thing. It takes him weeks to process this feeling as a crush.
Putting aside the popular hc that is Jotaro still being an asshole in the relationship, i'd like to play contrarian and say that when he enters into a relationship, he becomes extremely tolerable towards you and you alone and will endure anything for you.
This means he will tolerate whatever bullshit you decide to share with him, may it be a positive or a negative.
You're feeling happy and excited over a new release of your favorite band? He will be there to listen and accept all your ramblings (just as long you keep the volume toned down just by a little bit, he still gets annoyed with loud outbursts).
You're feeling moody and depressed? He'll still be there for you silently, putting an arm up as a sign that he'll hold you close for as long as you want as a replacement for his lack of comforting words.
I'd like to think he's fine with light PDA.
Meaning he'll hold your hand while his other hand is in his pocket, or he'll lay his hand over the small of your back while you walk.
No extra sappy crap like public smooches would happen because he's reserved af but you're fine with it; you still got the fun banter to make up for it.
Is he a gift giver? Not the best but he's trying.
Instead of giving you a gift pre-date, he gifts you things along the way: He pays for stuff and he buys things you found and liked as you passed it by.
Because of this, you learned to control your window shopping habits to spare mercy on your boyfriend's wallet.
He'll still appear and sound grouchy though, but you know him well enough that he means well and is just the default demeanor you got to know and love throughout your time with him.
He's also the type to be silent most of the time but that's because he prefers listening to your voice and your countless stories than hear his own gruff one.
He also uses his silence as means for him to gaze at you with newfound softness as if to convey all those unsaid loving feelings towards you.
He also buys you things at random; one afternoon you're just cleaning your room and when you open the door to take the trash out, you find a brand new Walkman and 2 tapes tied up together with a ribbon at your doorstep with a post-it note.

You still borrow his Walkman out of teasing purposes but to make up for it, you 2 take turns sharing your new music player.
When it comes to dates, i stand by the idea that Jotaro takes you to somewhere that is peaceful and natural such as the park, the aquarium, the beach etc., because according to him, he cherishes just being with you so much that entertainment factor of the location doesn't matter.
With the scenery, he gets to have a peace of mind and have the opportunity to gaze at you from time to time while you talked, seeing how beautiful you are and how the surroundings amplified your beauty.
Honest to god, Jotaro still couldn't believe you fell for his rude ass.
As for you, you're happy with wherever he wants to go because for you, seeing him at peace after a journey of relentless battles is all you wanted from him. If he's happy, you're happy. And vice versa.
He's possessive. period.
That's why he's into light pda because he gets to show to everyone that 1.) he's taken, 2.) you're taken, and 3.) mind your own business.
He unconsciously hovers around you when you're near him and the second you interact with your male acquaintances, he stands in the background silent and glares at the said person.
You know your boyfriend's behind you but you continue chatting with the now fear-addled acquaintance because you had things to share and you're not letting Jotaro's death glares stop you.
But often time, his ideal quality time with you is at the comforts of home, either his or yours.
You lounge together by the bed, listen to music, eat snacks, drink alcohol, and simply sit beside each other and relax as you talk to him with a soft voice that lulls him almost to sleep.
If he does show signs that he'd want some shut eye, he allows you to have his head on your lap as you hum him a song and card through his curly hair. Do this and the big man would be sleeping with a tiny smile on his face.
Sometimes though, Jotaro prefers taking a nap while he's sitting against the wall with your back pressed against his chest and he's holding you with one arm.
If it wasn't clear yet, his innermost urge to cuddle shows up as early as high school, though he still acts cool about it and keeps it at a minimum.
Meaning you initiate the snuggling and he accepts it with a mutter of his catchphrase.
That started after you both survived the 50 day journey and he's just relieved you were alive so some physical reassurance was needed behind doors.
You love it either way because soft Joot is best Joot.
When sleeping together, the positions you both prefer would be spooning (may it be he the big spoon or little spoon) or your head on his chest (bonus if his inner urge to cuddle surfaces and an arm comes to rest on your back).
Only when he knows and is sure you're asleep is when his words come out in whispers as he gazes at your sleeping form and his hand caresses your tousled hair.
Jotaro doesn't say much even during intimate moments like this but what he does say are words he's either shy or afraid of saying out loud to you:

I never understand why many people think jotaro hate woman, like the reason he yell at the girls i not because of their gender, but how they act. Even if u change their gender to male jotaro would still yell at them. And someone said how jotaro treat woman so rude, its not like he treat male better. He clearly wasn't being polite when talking to Joseph in part 3, and the first line he talked to polnareff is get away. And its not like he really treat woman so so badly, he covered ann's eyes when there was bloody scene, he bought drink for her and helped her escape in that wheel of fortune fight. The most important reason he want to kill dio is because his mum is dying, and the only reason jotaro visit the jail and catch the bullet in part 6 when he fully know it is a trap is to save jolyne.

So genderqueer Hisoka wasn't a headcanon at all
Wait a minute, so basically based on japanese language hisoka is using female pronoun while machi is using the male ones when talking? They're so alike in a way...
Wait wait, let me clarify. I think you mixed things up here.
Hisoka uses boku and kimi as his pronouns. They are masculine Japanese pronouns but not as rough as the pronouns ore, omae, temee, kisama. This suits him because of his childish behaviour and tendencies, though fcked up. (I mean, he's like a fcked adult child so........)
He hovers between masculine and neutral speech but he does sometimes use or switches use female speech endings.
The most prominent one where he used female pronoun is when he was battle horny with Chrollo in York New arc.
This is part of what he said when Chrollo fell for his sword of law bs trap in anime, which idk if it's the exact same dialogue in the manga (I might have some particles wrong or missing or some stuff wrong, so forgive me since I'm only going off based on my memory):
ใใฃใฑใใใใใใชใ. ็ตถๅฏพใใชใใฏใใฏใๆฎบใ. (Yappari ii yo anata. Zettai anata wa boku ga yaru)
'As expected, you're great, my dear. My dear, I will definitely kill (do) you.'
Note: to kill verb here is pronounced as yaru, which also sounds rhe same as the very informal version of to do verb, which is also yaru.
Anata is a feminine pronoun of you. 99% wxclusively used by women or people who want to sound feminine or identifies as one. Men might use it in real life in situation where they have to be polite and formal. In fiction, men may use it to let other knows that 'hey I'm not exactly a man' or hey, I'm not rude, I have respect and not a ruffian exactly.'
(Men uses feminine speech when they have to be formal like speaking to people in charities, being a host and all, as well)
Anata is also used by females (or those who are feminine whether they be homosexual or trans) to call their significant other. When they use it in this context, it means 'honey, dear, sweetheart' or whatever affectionate words to call your s/o is out there.
So yeah............ Hisoka..... used anata in that scene when talking about Chrollo......... not just for second-person pronoun..........
Anyways, Hisoka mostly speaks in masculine and neutral language speech, but sometimes does use female language.
Machi on the other hand used masculine language when she was a kid and, masculine and feminine language as an adult.
Kid Machi talks almost like Uvo ahahhahahaha.

Omae is a very masculine pronoun, much more than boku and kimi. And Yare is also a very masculine command, given its verb conjugation. And the sentence ending -ใ is also masculine. Machi as a kid speaks so much like a guy xD Hisoka (adult one) doesn't speak very masculine which is makes sense since he wants to sound playful and all xD
Adult Machi is different from child Machi. Adult Machi uses atashi, which is the informal version of watashi, and anta, the informal version of anata. Clearly her pronouns are not very feminine but feminine enough.
And here comes the interesting thing, she still uses masculine speech but with certain people, she uses feminine speech.
She uses a bit of feminine speech with Pakunoda. With Gon, she does as well, when she corners him with Pakunoda and asks him if he knows about the chain dude. We see the same thing with Feitan when they continued walking together and left Franklin and Nobunaga fighting when they were otw to York New. She also spoke to Kalluto in female speech back in Greed Island.
But the most she spoke with using feminine speech is Hisoka. I repeat. Hisoka.
One thing I observed is when she speaks in feminine speech, she either is close to whomever she is soeaking to or is showing consideration.
We can tell that she shows consideration with kids based on the fact she uses a bit of feminine speech when speaking to Gon (can someone remind me if she also spoke to Killua directly? I think she only spoke to Gon directly during York New arc when the Troupe caught the teo of them trailing them).
We see the same thing when she is speaking with Kalluto. When she said to him to come out, ๅบใจใใง, for instance. She spoke a bit in female speech. Not that much. But we can see that they are not close, which means she's being considerate to him. I mean Kalluto is a kid..........
As for Feitan, I'm on the fact that she's showing consideration because she's seeing him as an adorable kid due to his height. I don't think they are close like to the point of sharing a few secrets or something like that, no. So far, no evidence they are. So, I'm on she sees him as a kid due to his height and softens up team xD
As for Pakunoda, it makes sense if Machi is close to her even if it's just a little bit. I mean Pakunoda was probably the big sis who helped her out when puberty hit her or whenever there are girl problems she has to resolve. I don't doubt if Pakunoda was also the one she confided with when she fell for someone *ahem*
And as for Hisoka. Oml, Machi spoke to him in female speech all throughout before the Chrollo vs. Hisoka fight.
This is how I came to the conclusion that when she speaks in female speech, she is close to them or trust them to some extent - based on the way she spoke to Hisoka.
On chapter 55, when she made her first appearance in the manga, quite a number of her dialogues are in female speech.
Even during their conversation in Greed Island, she was using female speech.
But after the Chrollo vs Hisoka fight, she would speak to him in masculine form. Sadt. I assumed it was because she knew that might be their final interaction and their relationship will never be the same again. Rip.
Maybe her speaking in female speech just means she's showing consideration to him like how she does with kids but man the amount of female speech in her dialogues tells me otherwise........
Anyways.
She would also speak in very rough masculine speech whenever she is very pissed or angry. You can even tell she's pissed or annoyed when her masculine speech becomes rougher.
For instance, in York New arc, when Franklin asked if she knew whether Hisoka is coming to the meeting and part of her answer is
ใใใ่ใใช๏ผ - Atashi kiku na! - Don't ask me!
่ใใช is a command form of to listen ่ใ but among the masculine command conjugation, it's on rougher side.
And when Machi is speaking in a rougher masculine speech, she doesn't use ใขใณใฟ (Anta), she uses the pronoun, ใใกใจ, Temee, instead.
Now who uses Temee when they're pissed or annoyed?
Nobunaga and Uvogin.
When Machi got pissed a bit at Nobunaga when they were arguing about the 'chain dude' on whether they will be recruited by Chrollo or not, she used Temee on him.
Basically, the more pissed or angry she is, the more her speech tend to resemble Uvo's.
This is apparent when she got angry at Hisoka when he declared war on Spiders.
Zakk.....kken ja nee!!!! Ima atashi ga koroshite yaru!!
Mate!! Modore temee!! Kore hodoke korosuzo GORAAAA!!
Did you hear Uvo when she was saying those Japanese lines especially the one with GORAAA in it?
That's how you know that Machi is super pissed and angry at you.
Which means when she was talking to Hisoka back in Greed Island, she wasn't even pissed lmao ahahahha
I hope this clarifies any misunderstandings and confusion about Hisoka and Machi way of speech.
