Do you think Annabeth ever saw Percy interacting with Estelle and wished it could be her and Luke?
I truly don't care that they're making her black because it's just a movie and I'll be perfectly fine and shes a great pick for astrid but what bugs me about it is that big companies will cast minorities to be more diverse but it feels like they're exploiting the actor/actress by using their image to make themselves look good.
"Look! Our cast is diverse! Give us your money!" While they expose their actors to loads of backlash and racial discourse

I’ll hold you hand when I say this, but dragons aren’t historically accurate either. No one cares that she’s Black
That being said, I still think the costumes look too cartoonish, this one as well, and it does make the whole movie look a bit uncanny valley. But that’s besides the point.
Childhood me every time I opened a book and it had something along the lines of “do not read this book” in the opening:
I listened to the httyd audiobooks too much and now my thoughts either sound like Fishlegs, Hiccup, Camicazi or just straight up Dsvid Tennant

Idk what this hijack stuff is but I played girls go games and isn't jack Elsa's boyfriend or did she key his car after he cheated on her with Rapunzel in that one game?
On a completely unrelated note, yall remember that game where you had to make different potions and feed them to Toothless to get all the different reactions?? Maybe Jack snuck into that one
That moment when they bodyswap and Bodkin has the sudden realisation that Xar is in crippling pain all the time because of his hand but still tries to joke around and make people laugh and he literally never mentions that the whole time he's in agony.
On a road trip so here's a wobbly doodle of Hiccup beaming over his first child.
Best httyd quote?
If it’s too hard to choose, which book in the generally most quotable?
I think my favourite quote was in the epilogue of book of book 7 when Hiccup says "Maybe all kings should bare the slave mark to show that they are slaves to their people and not the other way around."
Or in book 1 when Hiccup gets mad at Stoick and says "What kind of father puts his stupid laws before his own son?"
Tumblr is my favourite social media platform because everyone is so nice here, your posts are always bound to get attention if you use tags and everyone just stalks everyone's pages and no one questions it.
My favourite part of tumblr is having like, 50 notifications, opening the app and 49 of them are just from people who went through my entire page and liked every post
