In another episode of "I have no idea of what I'm getting into", I decided to try making a game because I dreamt I did so. In my dream, I was making a Brothers Karamazov- themed RPGMaker game about walking around town with a character selection screen and all. I've never developed a game but far drawing the graphics is very fun (as well as daunting, considering I have to make the whole town)

while reading, I imagined trishatov in a certain way (brown pretty eyes, short fresh hair, and blonde). but when i draw him, i have trouble. the design feels so dull, but i think it is because i'm not drawing him like the polish boy from death in venice or the angel from devilman crybaby, you know? the pretty boys. and i don't know how to fix this discrepancy
