Note from submitter: Insofar as I'm concerned this is canon for me. I love this interpretation of Dick, and how Robin happened. Because in a world with superheroes, and vigilantes, this give a fairly reasonable justification for Robin happening in the first. Obviously, with certain suspension of real world morals and such, but regardless, this is well written and something I use for my own headcanon.

Lancer could not believe his senior class won a writing competition. He is very proud of them though. The students were to write about something supernatural, the kids just wrote about a prior trip to the Infinity Realms. The prize is a tour of WE.
The most crime-ridden city in America, what a great place to win a trip. But since these kids have to deal with ghost attacks Lancer isn't concerned for his students, he is concerned for Gotham. His students are not to be taken lightly. Add to that fact, they are all armed to the teeth thanks to Danny Fenton who perfected his shrinkable weapons.

Before the tour of WE, there are several hours for the class to kill. Lancer makes sure all their trackers are working before releasing them into the wild *cough* I mean allowing them to explore. The trackers are a cute charm individually styled to the students. Lancer needs a break... he ends up at the Iceberg Lounge.
Wes grabs his skateboard off his necklace and immediately sets off to find the Riddler, He wants to see how well he can do. A few other students go with him.
Danny since entering Gotham has been bombarded with spirits and wants to find a certain Red Hood and thank him for his services to the dead. Sam takes her electric scooter off her chatelaine and goes off to find Dr. Pamela Isley. Sam's a hardcore fangirl. Tucker goes off to find a coffee shop to hole up in and play Doom.
The A-listers go off to shop.
Wait I had an amazing idea: Dcxdp but instead of Danny ending up in the batfam Danny is in metropolis
What if Clark is absolutely sure Danny was a kryptonian with a health condition? So I like the idea of Danny occasionally having to make sure his heart is still beating while in human form and the little stutters sound like a small heart condition to Clark, now this would normally not be a problem as Clark would just keep an eye on Danny but Danny sometimes gets too focused on something and forgets to check his heartbeat and it stops and when he realizes he taps his chest to “get it going again”. Also Clark always just happens to be around when a ghost shows up (yes they followed Danny, they need their enrichment) so he sees and feels the subfreezing mist that comes from Danny’s mouth and sometimes see’s Danny’s eyes glow green accidentally and knows that despite Danny’s “condition” Danny is much stronger than a human should be because of an accident that happened that ended up with Danny lifting he shouldn’t be capable of.
The thing is every time Clark tries to talk to Danny to see if “Danny knows what he is” Danny seems to disappear and somehow Clark can’t follow (hard to track a ghost lol). This culminates in Clark taking the nuclear option: Clark breaking into batman’s cave to use his computer to find out anything he can on Danny. This then leads to Batman coming down to suit up for the first time after a full week of having to show up as Bruce to galas to see a sleep deprived and obviously heavily caffeinated Clark with a bulletin board that looks oddly like a mess of conspiracy theories about Danny in front of the bat computer.
Angel: so, who's got the pants in the relationship?
Alastor: obviously me, his Majesty likes the... lower position after all,
Lucifer raising an eyebrow: Alastor, stand up.

Captain Marvel recognizes the energy signature: "Ah," looks Phantom up and down with a raised eyebrow, "so you're the new hire?"

There was a moment of silence before the JL started feeling a buzz in the air.
Lighting sparks appear around Captain Marvel and start spreading throughout his body. The JL feels a little buzz on their skin, intensifying as the lighting spreads throughout Captain Marvel's body. Most of the JL almost kneel down while the others are already on the ground. And they know that the only reason the rest aren't on the ground is because Captain Marvel remembers that they're there.
A part of space belongs in the Realms. Green sparks appear floating around Phantom. The JL feels an enormous amount of pressure on them making the ones previously standing fall straight to the ground.
Only for the pressure that the both of them were emitting to disappear all of a sudden.
What looks like a void appears wrapped around Phantom but the JL could only feel air leaving their lungs as something squeezes their throats.
They feel the buzz again making them look over at Shazam.
Captain Marvel and Phantom walk toward each other with their fist drawn back. As their fists collided with one another face, they both got flanged to the opposite wall. They both laughed and got up to meet one another in the middle with a handshake.
Captain Marvel through gritted teeth: It's soo nice to meet you again.
Phantom's eye twitches: Likewise.

Billy holds up a bagel: Finally!!
Recently homeless Danny: Yoink! *snatches the bagel out of Billy's hands*

Sam is at a gala in Gotham, bored out of her mind. She’s snuck away from the main area. Hiding out in an alcove she’s complaining to Tuck and Danny through her earpiece. They start taking about the latest weapon Danny’s making for her. She’s getting a scythe that can be concealed as a charm on her bracelet.
(This kind of bracelet but instead of mundane charms it’s like one of those pocket multi-tools but in bracelet form that can resize each charm)
Damian also sneaks away from the gala and to the same alcove, Sam is hiding in. When he hears what's being said, he hides in the shadows.
Sam senses someone near her but doesn't even stop her conversation and continues talking about the design of her scythe. Whoever it is, she wants to freak them out.
Sam: So Danny, my scythe has to be like this:

Sam: Mostly black with purple accents.
Damian: *internally* A weapon of that caliber, I have to learn everything.
Sam: My new charm will be so sweet.
Damian: *internally* Tt just a charm.
Sam: *continuing* My rents won't even know it's another weapon and not just a new charm. Ghosts won't know what hit them. No one knows I'm armed to the teeth they just see a gothic charm bracelet. Your tech is the best.
Sam is fiddling with her bracelet and pulls off a knife charm. It resizes into a small pocket knife she uses to pick her nails. Damian zeros in on it. Damian impulsively steps into the alcove.
Damian: you have weapons that resize? I would like to purchase them.
Sam clocks all his hidden weapons.
Sam: Hmm yeah alright kid. All your weapons are easy to spot. Good for a beginner but having them in plain sight fools everyone.
Only if it's not the impeding doom of the U.S.A. cause for the next 3-4 years or so I'm stuck

The Bats tend to have favorite civilians, paramedics, cops, that they love to mess with or claim. It gets even worse when multiple Bats favor the same person and try to call dibs.
Danny ends up as one of these people.
It starts when he gets off of work late and finds Red Hood and Red Robin sitting on the curb eating pizza. He hadn't eaten anything all day, and it smelled delicious, and so what few braincells Danny had left scattered and he asks, "Can I have a slice?"
Both vigilantes turn to look at him, then each other, and shrug. They let him take a slice.
It was only the beginning.
Spoiler gets a tired "thanks" saving Danny from a mugging.
Black Bat practically buzzes with glee when she learns Danny knows sign language and helps her speak with a child witness.
Signal gets a more energetic Danny, though also a cautious distance after Signal once smacked into Danny and spilled his coffee all over the poor man.
Nightwing gets the brunt of one of his bad days when Danny decides he's done being held hostage and slips out of the bindings to chuck his shoe at the Riddler. Nightwing hi-fives him later for managing to hit Riddler in the face.
Even Robin has moments with Danny, after catching him taking care of some stray animals amd chasing off idiots who were looking for dogs to put into a recent (and very quickly shut down) dog fighting ring.
When everyone actually figures out Danny is the SAME Danny they all have been seeing around, Bruce has to fight the instinctive headache at the incoming fights. And resist the urge of looking up what seemed to be just a random Gothamite.
Danny at this point just wants a nap. And for these weird undead beings that didn't do well with his ice to stop coming for him. He had student debts to pay.
