I am so happy that Percy is a criminal in live action as well. Does it serve anything to the plot? Doubtful. It does, however, serve in building Percy's reputation as a goddamn MENACE and I'm here for it

frank: let me get this straight. thalia and jasonās domain is the sky, percyās domain is water, and hazel and nicoās domain is basically the underground?
annabeth: yes
frank: but⦠canāt percy also create storms? that have clouds and lightning and thunder?
annabeth: yes
frank: and⦠and canāt percy also create earthquakes and make volcanoes erupt?
annabeth: yes
frank: so⦠in a way, doesnāt that mean everywhere is percyās domain?
annabeth: yes.
annabeth: but donāt tell him. he hasnāt had that realization yet
I've been mad since 2022 for him being dead beat and the moment he showed up from the random burnt ice cream, I knew I was a goner
I SPENT EIGHT EPISODES SHITTING ON DEAD-BEAT DAD POSEIDON ONLY FOR RICK RIORDAN TO MAKE ME REGRET MY WORDS IN THE LAST TWO. HONESTLY. I AM SO MAD IT IS NOT EVEN FUNNY. FUCK HIM.
AND FUCK TOBY STEPHENS AS WELL LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE SECOND HE WAS ON SCREEN I DID NOT HAVE A COHERENT THOUGHT RUNNING THROUGH MY BRAIN. THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT TOBY.
Nope. Pretty sure if Percy hadn't mentioned Hermes, Luke would have and then Percy would have. Wait, would he though? Would Percy defend Hermes? Honestly, I just think he'd be like "Yeah they're jerks but not all of them and they're keeping us "protected"
SPOILERS FOR THE LAST PJO EPISODE !
So I just saw the last episode of the Percy Jackson serie, and at first I was kind of surprised because they didn't put the scorpio (?) poisoning Percy, but I think it was for the better.
Their duel feels more meaningful, more important. Because the thing is, not only does Luke understand how Percy feel about the gods, but they're also very similar. Although on different sides, they have very similar views.
The explanation is not just Luke trying to recruit Percy, it's also him making understand how they both see the flaws of the gods, and how it needs to change (though he wants this change to happen thanks to Kronos, whereas Percy believes that the gods are trying and can do better).
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but it felt more meaningful and like it was adding a deeper layer to Percy and Luke's story
Manifesting that Percabeth will Percabeth even better from now onāØļø
percabeth never percabethed harder than the "maybe he finds them... amusing?" "that's really not funny, annabeth." moment
Hello there!! So a few nights ago I was just thinking about how it's kind of ridiculous that we call Tamlin a tampon. Because a tampon is actually kind of useful, ykwim? And then I was like, but we needed Tamlin so that Feyre would go to Prythian. And then I was like, "Yeah, and you gotta throw away a used tampon cuz it gets toxic, just like Tamlin did" and idk if this was it, but that made me realize that this is it
The desperation in annabeths āwaitā when Percy shuts the door. When she screams āPercy donāt do this to meā my HEART!!! THE SIGH OF RELIEF WHEN PERCY KNOWS SHELL BE OKAY. Honestly Percy outsmarting Annabeth to introduce his fatal flaw is possibly the best way to introduce who he is. They shattered my heart with this scene.
PJO TV EP 5 SPOILERS
Can we talk for a sec about how SMART GROVER IS??? Like itās so cool we get scenes that werenāt in the book because percy couldnāt narrate it in his POV!! But Grover is literally a little evil genius and so much smarter than some people reduce him to!!
I remember hating him in the 1st movie (I watched it when I was 12) and then I saw AWOW this and i was so so disturbed by how I reacted. I denied it for so long but at this point I just can't šš
This is why I need himā¦ā¦
(forearm veins) my weakness ššš
he was jacked and bulky in the last movie but I donāt remember him being that tallā¦.his avatar is 9ā 5 & slim too (ig cuz his body is young), like that mf is tall even for avatar imo (they designed him so good) im in love w him
Whatta man, like why is he so big???? Great teeth, beautiful eyes, sense of humor, charm, BAWDEYYYY, KILL ME
I donāt mind older men (51 is pushing it tho but he is so fine)
I love that we got to see more of his personality in this, I think thatās y weāre all so infatuated w him, I fuckin hated him in the last movie but I was also either 12 or 13 lol
The last thing I saw him in before this was ādonāt breatheā and he was so scary to me in that I think it turned me off but heās redeemed himself completely I love him, amazing actor
Bro Stephen Lang has such an attractive voice, ofc I never noticed it until now but wow
He know he did not have to make that noise when he bent down, also can he PLEASE handle me like that, pick me up š Like I was feeling him before but this scene had me internally screaming and giddy but I couldnāt react like I wanted cuz I was sandwiched in between my family in public lol
I'm supposed to be studying and instead here I am, crying
Percy reassuring Annabeth that heās ok while turning to gold because heās always had someone there to reassure him and tell him itās ok - while Annabeth never has. No one has ever been there to reassure her because the world she lives in isnāt one where things are ok. She had had to live with every death, every mistake, every sacrifice. In the short time theyāve been together, Percy has been the only one to show her thereās another way. She doesnāt have to shoulder the weight by herself. Itās ok.
Sally was Percyās person and now heās becoming Annabethās.
