“That one, over there” the streptococcus whispered to the other, pointing at you. You carried some oxygen that you had to deliver, taking a mostly unused route as a shortcut. You really wanted to finish early so you could have some glucose. You pushed the cart, ducking under some of the scaffolding as the place was being reconstructed. 

“Yeah, let’s go fer her and dust up the place so no one will see” they snickered mischievously at their plan

You got to your destination, ringing the doorbell. A cell appeared before you, stamp in hand as you gave it a pen for its signature, “here you go! Your oxygen for the day, please sign here”. The cell signed it, thanking you as he took the box inside. 

You walked back down the path as the site became dusty. You coughed and swatted some of it from your face. Two tall figures loomed over you as you called out, “hi? Are you one of the white blood cells patrolling?" You tried to get a look at who it was but you only caught the sight of a bright color. Before you could realize it wasn’t any cell you knew, it went to swipe at you. You shrieked but never felt any painful cuts.

“BACTERIA DETECTED!” You heard a voice yell. A white blood cell popped up out of nowhere

“DIE GERMS” he swung at them. One died instantly but the other was more of a struggle. He finally did get a good and fatal stab but it resulted in the germ getting pushed, hard. It stumbled as its dead body pushed down a supporting pillar of scaffolding. 

“GET BACK” he yelled and pushed you to a wall, shielding you from any fallen rubble. You finally opened your eyes to see your situation. You were trapped under this tall white blood cell who saved your life. His arms were on either side of your head as he panted. His eyes met yours and for once he was glad he was covered in blood, so you couldn’t see the prominent blush on his face. His thigh was between your legs as he assessed the situation. 

“We’re stuck” he said as calmly as he could

Your face turned a deeper scarlet and your eyes went wide, “W-What!?”

“I can’t move without risking more things to fall on us, but don’t worry, someone should be here... eventually” 

You looked deep into each others eyes as you smiled gently. His heart melted and he realized he didn’t actually mind being trapped here with you. “Well, guess we’re gonna be here for a while” you chuckled.

The bass shook your very core as you swayed to the beat. The drink in your hand was almost empty as you tipped it back for another sip. You glanced to the side to where your boyfriend was chilling, leaning against the wall with a cigarette tucked between his lips. 

Issei Matsukawa had been your boyfriend since your first year of highschool; you’d been together for more than 5 years. He was attractive, a fact you’d known long before anyone else. It wasn’t that he was unattractive in high school, simply awkward and still growing into his own. He had been more lanky standing at 6’2”, fit from playing volleyball but worn down from the stress of school and graduating. 

Currently, he’s grown to 6’3” and filled out much more. Throughout the years, he’d acquired numerous tattoos that now formed full sleeves on both his arms with an incomplete back piece and a couple scattered on his pecs. He’d also gotten a nose and lip piercing to go along with the numerous adorning his ears. He’d developed his own style, typically opting for ripped, well-fitting jeans, dark t-shirts and leather jackets to go with biker boots he seemed to always be wearing no matter how much he complained of how they hurt when he wore them too much. 

You felt lucky to have been by his side through it all, watching him grow into a wonderful man and find himself until he became comfortable in his own skin. 

Unfortunately, the more confident he grew, the more others started to notice him; specifically other women.

Shouto Todoroki was an enigma to many.

He was pretty calm on the outside, but nobody seemed to notice that on the inside, there was a storm brewing inside Shouto every time another man looked in your direction, their intentions could be seen clearly through their gazes whenever their gaze drifted down to your cleavage. He accidentally ended up freezing his glass of champagne, much to his friend’s amusement.

It was at one point of the event when he found himself dragging you into his hotel room after he had enough of watching others ogling you, despite being aware of who you were dating. 

“You look radiant.” He murmurs, both hands intertwined into yours as they’re pressed against the wall while he kisses you with a smoldering passion, the desire behind his touch was intoxicating. “

Clothes are discarded on the spot, neither of you bothers moving from the place the moment the last article of clothing drops down on the carpeted floor.

oikawa rolled his eyes, he couldn’t be more annoyed by the sight in front of him, you hanging on iwaizumi’s back with your arms crossed against his chest, holding yourself from falling. he tried his best to get to like you even a little, but it was hard when you were a literal copy of him, loud, charming and sadly, extremely attractive. and the worst part of that, is that he had to share his iwa-chan with you.

after-class practice was cancelled because the coach had personal stuff to do that day, so oikawa found himself hanging with his fellow third years friends at iwaizumi’s house, which was conveniently next to his own house so he didn’t care at all if he stayed late. the big problem started when you arrived unexpectedly, saying with a smirk that iwaizumi forgot his math book on your house, that was also very conveniently a few blocks away from there. oikawa scowled, very irritated by your presence and how you managed to shift the whole atmosphere of the room with a few words, shifting all the attention to you.

he hated that so much, how you could get all the gazes on you that once were on him, making them yours forever. matsukawa and hanamaki were mocking the face he was making when you were on iwaizumi’s back hugging him, laughing loudly making oikawa’s mood sour instantly. “hiro, maybe we should leave, we have to do the… thing.” matsukawa said softly, narrowing his eyes, only hanamaki and oikawa hearing it with you busy giggling on iwaizumi’s ear. oikawa’s head snapped looking at them with wide eyes, begging silently that they wouldn’t leave him alone with you and iwaizumi, the couple just shrugged and said their goodbyes to the house owner and you, leaving an oikawa looking everywhere but you two.

you lowered yourself from iwaizumi’s back and sat on the couch that was occupied by matsukawa and hanamaki a few minutes ago, iwaizumi sitting next to you moments later. oikawa murmured things you couldn’t quite catch, you watched him narrowing your eyes. “what was that, shittykawa?” your gentle smile did a 180º twist, now that you three were without the company of matsukawa and hanamaki, your voice was laced with venom. you sneered at oikawa’s frown and iwaizumi rolled his eyes. “y/n, don’t tease him.”

‘are they on a first name basis? unacceptable.’ oikawa’s thoughts were filled with jealousy and anger at the same time, watching you smirk and hug his iwa-chan in front of him was enough to make him snap, he did his best to maintain composure in front of his best friend because he was a guest but you, you really made him go insane with a few words and looks. “get your arms off iwa-chan, right now.” iwaizumi looked away.

“and who the fuck are you to tell me what to do?” you scoffed as you stood up from the couch, you felt a hand grabbing your wrist and you turned your head to see iwaizumi’s pleading eyes looking directly into yours with his eyebrows furrowed, slightly shaking his head. you smirked and snatched your hand from his grasp, immediately walking towards the place oikawa was sitting.

oikawa watched you stand up from the couch and how you exchanged a few words with iwa-chan, you turned your head around and looked at him defiantly. he instantly got nervous, what was he supposed to do now? you defied his (very weak) command and iwaizumi didn’t back him up, were you going to punch him? maybe spit on him? that’s kind of kinky, no wait, why is he thinking that? he shook his head and watched you approach him quickly, sitting on his lap. “w-what are you doing?”

“why do you think you can tell me what to do? are you jealous of me getting all iwa-chan’s attention? you know that porcupines have a low attention span.” you smiled wickedly and oikawa heard iwaizumi grunting softly ‘that’s not true.’ but all his attention was on you sitting on top of him literally owning the ambience of the room again, he gawked at you with his mouth slightly open. you watched how he stared you in awe, you raised an eyebrow and he shook his head, trying to gather coherent thoughts. “g-get off of me.”

you pouted, “you didn’t answer my question.”

oikawa rolled his eyes, now getting more annoyed, he was about to answer but iwaizumi had to interject. “yeah, crappykawa, answer her question.” oikawa gasped, feeling betrayed by his best friend, he crossed his arms as you stood up from his lap to sit now, to oikawa’s misfortune, on iwaizumi’s lap. his best friend made no sign of being uncomfortable by your behavior so he just groaned at the sight.

“i’m leaving,” he stood up as quickly as possible and walked to the door. he made one last look to the couch where you were sitting with his friend, he frowned when he saw you laughing at something iwaizumi said.

“c’mon tooru, don’t go.” he heard iwaizumi say.

he slammed the door on his way out.
