Revenge Once More On @hellscythearts And The Last Of My Art Fight Backlog For Now! This Time Featuring

Noize and Encore. 

Both are bad-ends for the current Sonariverse, though they fall in separate directions. One (Encore) was captured and forced to work for William Tumult, the other (Noize) killed and chose to be a Dictator in Tumult’s place. 

Both of them needed a nice reference sheet for forever, and finally it’s here! (Only took ten thousand years to make lol.)

Designation: SCP-0667, Nos (derivative of Nosferatu) Sex | Species: Male | ??? Height: 12′7″ AppearingAge: Early 30s Age: As old as Humanity itself. Classification: Euclid, Keter class

Nos is an SCP, Keter Class. He's been around since Humans have existed, primarily because they are his food source.

How he eats is by piercing the flesh of a victim and then drinks the liquified insides until the body is nothing but dry flesh (think Cell). 

How this is done is through a symbiotic relationship Nos has with microscopic creatures (SCP-0667-B) that act as an extension of self. They essentially enter a target's body through any opening, usually under the nails or through being inhaled, or opening of some sort (eyes, nose, mouth, ears, wounds, etc). Upon breaching, they liquidize the prey from the inside-- Bone, blood, muscle, fat, anything and everything. The description of the victim before death as the insides are liquified for the SCP to eat is the unpleasant sensation of 'bugs' under the skin or the 'static' that comes with loss of feeling in a limb, like when it falls asleep, moving from the extremities of the prey first towards the center of the body, to reduce thrashing and expelling of the insides.

The reach of the 0667-B emits a sort of field also makes it easier for Nos to adapt to populated areas in his smaller forms (to blend in with the organics); the microscopic entities settle in a potential group of prey's brains, broadcasting brain waves to SCP-0667, essentially comparable to mind reading.

While inside the brain, the creatures emit endorphins that prevent victims from entering a panicked state, though they seem to have a side effect of allowing Nos to discern their language and thoughs, or to read their actions to a degree.

This field can cause minor amnesia, like a group of prey not realizing one of their own is missing, and triggers their brains to fill the gaps so that if one victim is picked off from the group, the rest of the herd will simply not realize the absence. 

It is noted that the creature's blood glows, and is shown through the veins in it's wings and dried scars, though it's teeth and claws seem to do the same. Despite this, Nos has a lethal weakness to light of any kind, regardless of if it is artificial or natural, and sunlight in particular is fatal. Lamps, flashlights, and even cell phone light all cause burns to appear on it's flesh. This weakness only weakens when its form seems to change (only witnessed by the SCP who calls himself Athen).

The creature is 12 ft tall, and has a 50 ft wingspan. This may change, however, depending on the state of hunger of the SCP. When full, he has the minor ability to hide in shadows, and his wings take the appearance of tattoos on the back. His height changes to around 7 ft, assumed so that he can try to blend in with his prey. He has trouble standing in direct sunlight without severe burns, but has a no repercussions from artificial light in this stage. His form only changes as his hunger grows, and the size will increase until he has achieved 12ft again.

Aaaand with that, 2022 comes to a close. 

A lot happened this year. My day job took on a turn for the more chaotic, and I had to turn to full-time work, which impacted my ability to do art greatly, and I... hate to admit it but my depression flared up far more considerably than expected because of it as well.

But despite everything, I can say with confidence that overall... this was a good art year. For everything I’ve made, I’ve been fairly satisfied with my growth, even if the majority has been spent once again on character designing, lol.

I didn’t like that I couldn’t draw as much no, but.... hey! I participated in a zine for the first time, (which you’ll get to see more of in the future), and my wife and I got into around eight Cons to host our art in, which is SO COOL. We want to do more in the future.

I know a lot of things in this preview are from things that I haven’t posted, and I would like to get better on that in the future... ^^; Maybe that’ll be a minor goal for me come 2023.

I am so sorry for my absence! Kara and I have been working nonstop of the scripting phase of our webcomic, so I haven’t been doing much art as of late… To make up for it, this last week I’ve been burning down the candle to make these! These are Soul Wines, and I had a lot of fun making them. Kara and I have been talking, and they’ll be stickers for sure, and possibly charms/keychains!!!

Here’s the excerpt we have for them. ^v^

Soul Wine.

Souls can be used in a variety of ways, but a common one for Demons to use is Soul Wine. It is a ‘wine’ that has the appearance of stars in a bottle, most of the time, the liquid is semi-transparent to not very, but can be seen through (look to: Apache Tears stones). Upon peering in, sometimes one can see a 'star’ or tiny ball of light– a soul. The wine is made by adding a minimum of 8 to thousands of souls in a bottle, and letting it keep for a number of years, after all of the souls’ essence has melded into the dark/transparent black color the wine is known for. 

A 'cheap’ wine is made when souls of the wrong kind of sin are put in the same bottle. It tastes poor, and like a gross mix of 'flavor.’   Humans and mortals cannot drink this wine, as the monstrous entity that is the combination of souls will attempt to overtake the drinker’s body, and add their soul to the concoction before possessing the empty shell. These die fast due to the lack of the correct host, but are extremely dangerous.  

Soul Wine can change in appearance, and there are different kinds for each sin. 

Wrath, for instance, is the darkest of the seven in color, and the bottle housing such aggressive souls will occasionally rattle with fury. The souls inside will sometimes take the appearance of hands attempting to break the glass.

Greed sometimes has a gold 'stars’ instead of white, and occasionally gems, currency, and precious metals will accumulate on the bottom. Don’t place your hand inside, or it will try to pull you in as well. This does not matter if you are a demon, immortal, or not. Drinking it is fine for immortals, but do not take things that are not yours.  

Lust smells like the things you already adore, normally the perfume of a person you love and/or the scent of your favorite place. It is the most aromatic of the seven drinks.  Drinking it sometimes makes you a little more truthful than you want to be. There are lipstick stains and lavender that appear on the inside, though this is not necessarily what it smells like.  

Looking into the bottle of Envy will make you see what you desire the most. Different than Lust, it shows you what you desperately want, and cannot have, or have yet to achieve. Glancing inside, sometimes you will see eyes watching you back. Green smoke billows from it.  

Gluttony is pitch black, and consumes light. Nothing glows from inside it, though there are souls within the mixture. Sharp teeth curl around the inside of the bottle, and will eat anything that falls into it. The more souls in a bottle of Gluttony, the more teeth there will be.

Pride is the lightest coloring of Soul Wine, and is known for its sparkle. It literally glitters as it’s poured into a glass, and occasionally rings and pear necklaces, and diamond earrings will fall out as well. The bottle radiates glowing light with a dark shadow underneath. Sometimes peacock feathers are inside.  

Sloth is thicker than the others, and pours out with the viscosity of honey. The souls in this bottle are larger than average and function in the glass like ice cubes, floating lazily to the top. If you squint, you can see text and words floating around. Sometimes these words grant inspiration, though you may have to battle with the desire to give any effort to such ideas. Sometimes sand gathers at the bottom.
