Itty Bitty Self-love Spell Jar To Keep In My Pocket!

Itty Bitty Self-love Spell Jar To Keep In My Pocket!

Itty bitty self-love spell jar to keep in my pocket!

I used:

*Altar Salt, to remind myself I am a glorious creation.

*a shard of cinnamon stick for comfort, to be comfortable in my own skin

* Coco Powder, for the energy to love myself even when it's hard. (plus for its aphrodisiac properties 😉)

*Sugar, to remember to be sweet with myself

*and some rose quartz shards, for overall love.

I view witchcraft in the same way that I do vitamin supplements. Vitamins can help boost you up if you’re deficient in certain things, but if you ate nothing but vitamins, you’d still be very unhealthy. Witchcraft is the same way. If you need help finding a job, a job spell can help increase your chances after you submit a job application. However, if you ignore mundane means and only ever use witchcraft, you’ll never reach your full potential.

Locket Balm
Locket Balm

Locket Balm

Disclaimer: I am not a pro at this, this just worked for me.

You’ll need:

a locket

a teaspoon lip-balm (unscented)

candle/beeswax (unscented)

a drop of essential oils (or use scented lip balm/wax)

Warm the lip balm up until it melts (don’t boil!), add a few drops heated wax and stir. Add a drop of an essential oil you like. Carefully pour or scoop the mixture into the locket and let it cool.

Use for grounding (dab the balm on your skin, focus on the scent etc.). I found it also works as a lip balm.

Hope this is helpful! Cheers, V🌿💫

Witchin’ In the Kitchen... things you may not think to use in your Magick

Kitchen Magick is Something near and dear to me. And something I enjoy doing damn near every day..A way to make something that you do every day a little more magickal… though I believe cooking and food itself is magickal. It is a gift of earth. but adding in your own magick and intent makes it all the more powerful.

I usually just let my guides…guide me.. I’ll find myself sprinkling in typically unusual things like A pinches of nutmeg and cinnamon along with basil and rosemary in my spaghetti , I stumbled upon the perfect sweet treats for calm composure and memory help with rosemary and lavender sugar cookies,

and todays topic…COCOA . I use it in SO MANY THINGS. Even when I’m not purposefully trying do the Witchin’ . And there are some great magickal and medicinal uses for it!

COCOA

Latin Name- Theobroma cacao

Feminine

Elements-

         milk chococlate - Water, Earth

          dark chocolate-Fire , Earth

Origins-

The History of chocolate starts In ancient Mesoamerica. Fermented cocoa beverages date back to 350BC, though recent studies have shown it may date back as far as 1400BC. Aztecs believed that Cocoa seeds were a gift from the God Quetzalcoatl who is the God of wisdom , The seeds of cocoa were once so valuable they were even used as a form of currency ! translated , it literally means “ food of the gods”

Medicinal Properties-

The higher the amount of Cocoa, the more beneficial it is for you. Unsweetend cocoa and nibs are the best for this.

~Antioxidant

~Hormonal&Neurological ( it makes you feel better& happy!)

~increases memory

~Longevity and resilience

~lowers cholesterol

~ reduces risks of stroke

~ strengthens immune system

Magickal properties-

in general chocolate is great for spells for happiness, comfort , love , friendship and feel better.

Dark chocolate is best for sex , romance , love power, prosperity, memory, wisodom, and grounding

Milk chocolate is more suited for friendship, self love, nurturing, love , balance, fun and energy, happiness, and revelry

Some ways you can use it in kitchen magick

~ Bake cakes and cookies for your friends or family for happiness , fun , love and to ward of negativity

~Bake your crush or lover a cake to set the mood and have some BOMB sex( or just to help ease tension and have good energy within your relationship and sex life)

~ meditation cookies or hot cocoa , with herbs and hot milk of your choice , perfect for meditation and divination and right before spell work.

~ make some dark chocolate and rosemary cookies , cake or bark for memory and focus before class or a test or something important , or even to help jump start some creative visions like writing , reading, art etc.

~add some to your incense to invite a warm and happy atmosphere

~ literally anything made with chocolate , cocoa powder ect can be used in magick along with herbs and other things in kitchen magick.

~you can even leave it as offerings to your fairies, house spirits , ancestors ect.

~ give chocolate bars and baked goods as gifts for various needs like someone in grief who could use some cheering up and calming , a party that needs some lively vibes and even to a student you know who could use some calming , focusing energy , wisdom , and memory help!

the possibilities are endless and feel free to explore them all!

Ill be posting a list of recipes of different things using chocolate and other things in kitchen witchery soon. keep an eye out for them!

🍝 Cooking Magick 🍝

Since I often don't have the energy to do full spells and rituals, I've been trying to incorporate magick into the mundane things in my life, and something I tried tonight was adding a little magick to my cooking

Since I've been having a lot of negative energy within myself, I decided to make my dinner into a little protective spell

It was a little last second so its not very intricate, but it was just enough for me and made me feel super witchy (my boyfriend even called me a little kitchen witch!)

We deemed this little "spell" Magick Spaghetti

Disclaimer: this isn't an actual spell!! Its just a fun way to include your craft in something simple and essential and I really enjoyed doing it so I thought it would be nice to share! Its not to be taken extremely seriously, not all witchcraft has to be totally serious, just have fun! ❤ and remember that even the smallest things can be made magical and meaningful

🍝 Wolf's Magick Spaghetti 🍝

To start, if you add salt to your water when you boil it, something I do, you can tie a correspondence or intention to that

Stirring the spaghetti counterclockwise to banish, repeat something like "I am banishing this negativity and the things that have been hurting me inside"

Stirring the spaghetti clockwise for intention, repeat something like "I am protected from negativity" and/or "I am protected from these negative energies inside me"

Add some sauce! Sauces are full of herbs and veggies that have correspondences, use this to your advantage! My sauce of choice had onion, garlic, and tomato, all of which have protective properties

While eating your Magick Spaghetti, think something like "this is clearing the negativity inside me"

✨ How To Wake Witchblr ✨

image

We’ve all seen the hashtag #wakingwitchblr or the term itself at one point. Still, I found that there’s a lack of info on what you can actually do to make witchblr more active.

So I took it upon myself to create a list of things that anyone can do to revive our amazing community! Enjoy !

✨ How To Wake Witchblr ✨

1) Don’t Like, Reblog instead 📣

There’s nothing inherently wrong with liking a post, it’s just that due to how Tumblr works, liking a post does virtually nothing. Reblogging, however, lets that post be seen by more and more people. The surefire way to revive witchblr is by reblogging as many witchy posts as you can.

But what if some posts just doesn’t fit into your blog’s theme, even though you want to support it? Well, you have a couple options:

Reblog anyway. Diversifying your posts actually makes your blog more interesting. You can always tag it as ‘off-topic’ if the different theme bothers you that much.

Create a reblog/spam account! I have one and it is so simple. The post may not gain as much traction compared to if you RB-ed in your main blog, but trust me when I say a single reblog goes a long way.

Share it on other social media. See that arrow-like button down there? Click it and you can share the post anywhere. Send it to your witchy discord servers or your insta groupchat !

 2) Get off the ‘Top’ page. Go to ‘Recent’ 💌

AKA reblog from lesser-known bloggers.

Not only will you support fellow witches creating content, this also give you a chance to talk to them and find your place within Witchblr! Which brings me to my next point…

3) Interact with The Community 💬

If I’m a witch who wants to move away from Tumblr, there will be only one thing that can stop me, and that’s the friends and connections that I’ve made here.

Join online covens and discord servers, ask your witchstagram and witchtok friends for their tumblr url, and just have fun together.

Interacting with other witches, making friends, even just giving compliments or advices. This is what makes us a community. It’s what makes us stay here. If we don’t interact with each other, than we’re just a bunch of people who likes the same thing without any connection. That’s not witchblr.

4) Diversify Your Tags 🎪

There is a kind of… exclusivity, when you look through the hashtags of witchy posts. Witches only ever tag with “witchblr”, “witchcraft”, and “magick”.

This creates an accurate, non-spammy post, but it is also a post that will only show up on other witches’ dashboard and no one else’s. The community will never grow in this way because there will be no new people finding the community. It’s just an echo chamber.

Instead, diversify your tags. I’m not telling you to tag your ritual oil with ‘cars for sale’, but if you made a travel altar yourself, there’s nothing wrong in tagging it #crafting, #diy, #handmade, etc.

Non-witches will then find the post and potentially become interested in the community, thus making it grow.

5) Make Original Content 🔮

Original content is the backbone of any community, and witchblr is dying because we’re not producing any. So if you want to revive witchblr, make content of your own.

No, it doesn’t have to be well thought-out. Heck, it doesn’t even have to be good. Original content can be anything! It can be you posting about a witchy thing that happened. It can be your drawing, or a picture you took. It could even be memes???

Or it could be a ‘how to wake witchblr’ post that you wrote because you have a script due 3 weeks ago and somehow this is your idea of procrastination

The point is: just click that ‘Make a Post’ button, and make a freaking post !

6) Share This, and Add Your Own Tips! 🖤

Now that you know these, it’s time to let other people know too ! I put a lot of thoughts into this post, but I have to admit that these tips will only work if everyone in the community is doing it.

If you have other tips or ways to make Witchblr more active, feel free to reblog with your own addition too.

I love this community, and if you’re reading this post I’m sure you do as well. It’s not gonna happen overnight, but I know that we can be as active as we used to be. We’ve got the heart, we just need the action.

☀️🌿Litha Lavender Thyme Chicken🌿☀️

☀️🌿Litha Lavender Thyme Chicken🌿☀️

Hello my greenies! I have here a recipe to celebrate Litha! I am recovering from the removal of all four of my wisdom teeth and am unable to feast accordingly. I hope everyone can celebrate and eat for me, so I have here a favorite chicken recipe that I have especially during Litha and many times during the summer.

I will put the corresponding meanings of all the ingredients for the recipe at the end of the post and hope everyone enjoys my recipe. I hope to be posting more soon!

***You can use these ingredients for a whole chicken, but the amount for the coating will need to be adjusted and so will the cooking time. There are many websites that can tell you how to prepare a whole chicken, if that is also what you are looking for.

Ingredients

3 or 4 chicken breasts (I use 3, but I think the recipe would work with four as well.)

1 tbsp of dried lavender

2 tbsp of dried thyme or 4 sprigs of fresh and pulled off the stem.

drizzle of olive oil or coconut oil

1 tbsp of garlic powder

1 and ½ tbsp of onion powder

3 tbsp of honey

1 whole lemon.

dash of salt and pepper

dash of oregano

Directions

If lavender is not crushed, crush until powdery. Then in a small bowl, mix lavender, thyme, garlic powder, and onion powder.

In a separate bowl, place the three chicken breasts and add the salt and pepper. Mix well and after drizzle the oil, honey, and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Mix thoroughly.

Place in the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Make sure all parts of the chicken are covered.

Cover the bowl and let the chicken sit for three hours in the refrigerator.

Once complete, stir the chicken in the bowl again and then place the chicken into a roasting pan and sprinkle oregano on the tops.

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place the chicken in the oven and bake for 45 minutes, make sure you flip after 23 minutes. When done, take the chicken out and let it sit for about 5 minutes before you eat. While it sits begin the chant.

“With the heat of the day and kiss of the night, summer bring love and spirit to me. Let me feel the child-like dance. Let me embrace myself.   I am my own fire.”

While speaking these words allow yourself to hold in the heat inside you. Let it move around through your system and on your skin. Rise that heat up into your neck and float around your head. Then have it come out of you, so now you only feel a slight glow. Have this warmth embrace your house and everything in it until that happiness is surrounding you.

Then enjoy your meal!

*I always find that this meal goes well with some honey garlic potatoes, thyme roasted carrots, Zucchini casserole, and fresh baked flaky biscuits.

If you decide to make this recipe please send me pictures! Although I can’t eat any solids at the moment, I would feel satisfied just by seeing everyone else enjoying their meals. I hope you enjoy this recipe and have a special Litha!

💌Spell Envelopes💌

💌Spell Envelopes💌

Y’all this is seriously a game changer!!

As a college student, I’m super broke and haven’t wanted to buy sachets for spells, but I have a solution! Just use an envelope instead! You can get a whole box for like $3 (or you probs already have some) and they work just like a sachet: you put your herbs, pieces of paper, little crystals, etc. inside.

You can also decorate them with designs, colors, and sigils that correspond to the spell you’re doing!  The one in this picture is a love spell I made for a friend! Art isn’t your thing? Just use stickers! Washi tape!

You can carry them around easily and discreetly too.  You could even mail a spell to a friend! And add a layer of enchantment to bless your postal delivery person while they’re carrying the spell :)

✨✨

Addition:  As the lovely @crystal-w0lf added to the comments, you can also bury them for offerings or protection spells!!!
