“2 yrs ago was our first born daughter’s 2nd birthday & what a day to remember🥹

Getting to invite all her family & friends as well as my friends was one of the absolute BEST parts of her birthday. Celebrating it was the other BEST part😁

That year was more fun to celebrate as we were able to actually pick out a theme for her birthday & got to invite people we know & love to that years’ party. That was the fun part for me☺️

In the last 3 pics are of her BFFs Mckenna (brown hair) and Daphne (red hair) who’s parents are friends with me too😊 Daphne’s mother (who she adopted as a baby) is my BFF since my childhood days. McKenna’s mother is my bestie who was my doula & midwife for both of my births

Who knew at the age of 2 she’d make more friends I’ve had in the span of 2 yrs of making friends at the age of 5 til the age of 7 lol😅”

Finding Out Being Parents for the First Time as Teen Parents😖

“Finding out that we were gonna become first time parents as teens is something no parent of ours would like to hear come out of our mouths. Yes we’re older teens but we’re also considered adults at the ripe young age of 18 & 19 years old.

I was so scared at the time because I know my parents are gonna be more so disappointed than actually angry at me because they’ve gone through the same thing we have but a little younger so they understood what it was like for us🥺 Kayson’s parents on the other hand not so much as they’re stricter than my parents & had rules that even my family could NEVER even consider having😣

The first of having to get ultrasound was confirmation enough as soon as I heard the heartbeat I just knew I was pregnant. The second time I go I had to go by myself as C-19 had approached so I had to go by myself but as soon as the appointment was done & went home. I immediately had to show Kayson the first EVER pic of our baby. He was so shocked & excited to finally to get see who he’s speaking to at night lol😂

Then that same day but at night he was having second thoughts of having to tell his parents about the news as it’s been weeks since he hasn’t told them about the news. I reassured him in saying that when you’re ready to tell them, you can. It’s not up to them. It’s up to YOU😌

“Hi I’m Tyson & this is just a photo progression of Steph & I’s relationship😊

From being strangers to lovers is something I guess you can label how our relationship is now. Steph & I actually met in college. I had NO clue she was & neither did she🤨

I happened to accidentally bump into her one day while going to the gym & she was coming out of her sorority dorm😅 Crazy how we’d end up being in a relationship especially with our own middle siblings being in a relationship first🙃

That first photo of us is actually taken when we became somewhat friends. I’d see her when we hung out with Grace & Kayson but nothing more than that. In the 5th one we were clearly in our aunt & uncle era but felt like it looked more like first time parents lmao😅

As you can see the last photo of the both of us when we were pregnant. Yes we were expecting at the time but now our baby is out & is almost 2 yrs old🥹”

The Nerve Racking Call with My Parents😖

“After finding out that I was gonna be father. It took a lot of courage & guts to call my own parents about the news😣I hesitated first if I should call them the same day as but I waited a couple of days to help calm my nerves. Thank GOD I had Grace by side to talk to & gave me the courage to call them as it was a much needed discussion to talk to them about😌

I ofc expected the worse as my parents are very strict in what me & my siblings do. I just didn’t give two sh*ts about what they were saying to me as I was proud to have become a father😁I mean yes we’re both teens but we’re both adults as well. We have a stable home & income so how dare them for being so inconsiderate & rude to both Grace & I😡I was so ready for this conversation to be done & over with😩

This is the whole conversation that I had with my parents ok the phone was the last time I EVER spoke to them & didn’t regret a thing AT ALL😌They deserve every bit of silent treatment & disrespect they get from me as they did to me all my life😔

“I called my big bro to ask when he & Steph were gonna be there & said that it would be soon. I didn’t mind waiting as we’ve only just arrived at the beach not long ago. Oh how I missed them so😩

They arrived not long after. We greeted them & hugged them as it’s been so long since we last met. Ofc Laela was shy at first but warmed up pretty quickly since it’d been a little while since she’s last saw them🥹(She sees Nat and Bry almost everyday but she’s not used to seeing Steph & Ty all that much)

Starting Out The Day☀️

“We started out the day by cooking our famous breakfast Kayson almost always makes (Kayson LK makes the BEST omelets & pancakes). I took over as Kayson needed to get an ingredient he forgot to get before starting. My older bro Tyson went to go get Laela out of her bed as she’s not really morning person (like me lol😅).

We then ate breakfast, got dressed in our bathing suits & finally got to the beach in time😁A few minutes after we settled, got our stuff out & put on sunscreen. I got the opportunity to show my engagement ring off to both of our older siblings that Kayson got me the yesterday evening as a surprise😊
