i miss playgrounds, losing baby teeth, hopscotch at grandma’s house, ice cream trucks, playhouse disney, happy meals, windows 98, riding my bike for hours, pool water, summer sleepovers with friends, blockbuster, playing in hose water, pancakes and bacon on a warm sunny morning, watching vhs tapes, sleeping in a car-seat, elementary school book fairs, glowing yellow night lights, stickers from doctor’s appointments, summer vacation excitement, being held, childhood wonder, being immersed in pretend play, daydreaming through church services and trips to the bakery afterwards, my parents being young, having fear of the dark, feeling infinite and safe, coloring outside of the lines, 2003-2006, purity

How was your day + gimme a rant?

honestly its been pretty ok? i ended up going home early bc i had a HUUGE headache, but i'm feeling better now!

the only thing i can really think to rant about... is how im supposed to be getting glasses soon, and my math teacher (who i dont think likes me) asked when i was gonna get them. i told her it would take around 2 weeks, since i had just got my eyes checked last thursday. (as far as i know, 2 weeks is pretty standard. my teacher does not have glasses.) as soon as i tell her this, she clicks her tongue, looks at me like she doesnt believe me, looks down and says "okay."

im pretty sure im overthinking this but. that felt powered by salt and as soon as she did that my mind started screaming "U CALLIN ME A LIAR" sooo
