If you actually have insomnia, try melatonin.
Listen to brown noise- it cancels out any thoughts you may have
You could also listen to white/pink/ any other color noise
Listen to a sleep meditation- this is a meditation that I’ve been listening to since I was young, I rly love it. / or you can search up “sleep meditation”
Don’t go on your phone before bed!! Leave at least an hours space.
Avoid daytime naps (girl I love daytime naps as much as anyone, but if you’re having trouble sleeping at night, then try and stay awake so you’re actually tired at night)
Avoid caffeine 4-6 hours before bed, duh.
Avoid having big meals before bed
Make sure there’s nothing wrong with your mattress & your bed it’s actually comfy. Trust me sometimes it’s not you, it’s the mattress bc after a long time it can actually start to wear out + it just may not be best for you. If you keep tossing and turning, it may be time to invest in a new mattress.
Keep the bedroom cool.
