I kind of don't appreciate racism being brushed off as discourse when its so prevalent far more prevalent than idk being mislabelled as a bigot for example. Idc if you don't like what I like but can you not be racist about it or belittle Black fans when they raise these concerns? Your fandom safe space is sounding more like a klan rally but whatevs
For the Mel defenders:
“Many question my motives. But their whispers do not define me” - I so love that they included this line in League.
While it’s tiring seeing Mel be constantly mischaracterized, that doesn’t erase the compelling and layered character that the writers crafted with her.
all the time i think abt the way atsv hints that hobie and miguel don’t ACTUALLY hate each other. and no one else talks abt it. miguel sees hobie and immediately starts almost joking around w him, acting indifferent, and we KNOWWW he’s not actually indifferent bc he treats peter (someone he ACTUALLY doesn’t like) completely differently 😭😭😭 “i was gonna try ignoring you, i can’t, i can’t even” compared to “ugh peter.” under his breath is CRAZY. atsv hype may be over but i’m tired of people acting like miguel n peter are besties and miguel n hobie are mortal enemies it’s bothered me for ages. i think hobie honestly just has a better idea of boundaries than peter does, who spends the whole movie pissing miguel off 💔 i don’t think hobie n miguel are besties at all but i don’t get when people act like they want each other dead 🙁
miguel likes hobie more than he likes peter thank u for listening
