"Good evening my lady." Ayato said with a soft voice as he glanced at you.

"Greetings Ayato, enjoying the evening?" you said with your fan at your lips and he smiled.

"Now even more because of you." he told you and you blushed.

"Ah yes indeed, how have you been lately?" you said as you started to walk next to him. He just chuckled and looked down at you.

"Do you really wish to know?" he said and you looked at him.

"You are a dear friend of mine Ayato, of course I wish to know, plus, your sister would worry if she wouldn't know how you are, you need to open up a little." you said and he gave a defeated sign.

"Fine fine, I surrender myself to your mighty judgement!" he said and you laughed.

"How can such a serious head of the Yashiro Comission and head of the Kamisato clan be so playful sometimes?" you asked and he just smiled.

"I must admit that this is just the effect you have upon me my lady." he said and looked down at you once again.

"Still the same charmer I see." you said with a small grin and he got closer to you.

"Only for you my dear." he said and you tried not to die there from how flustered you got. Right now you were at the bridge from Inazuma city, near the water and that small shrine for the kitsune. As you looked at the sky, you sighted.

"Ah its such a beautiful night, I wish we could stay like this, no clan affairs, no etiquette lessons or way to act before everyone, here we can be ourselves." you said.

"Indeed very beautiful." he said and you looked at him only to see that he wasn't looking at the sky, oh no, quite the opposite, he was looking at you with such an adoration.

"Ayato-" you tried to say but he held your hands so you would look at him.

"Look, I know that maybe you think it would be complicated for us to start something, after all we both rule over clan's with big duties, but, believe me, we can make it trough together." he said and looked at you in the eyes.

"But... What about the others? If we get together, they will expect us to marry, have heirs, and our whole relationship will be public..." you said and he took your cheek in his hand.

"You don't have to do all that if you don't feel like it, we are the own rulers of our lives, so why care about what the others think?" he said and you looked at his blue orbs. They were charming, just like his sister's eyes.

"I- alright, if you really think it could work, I'm willing to give it a chance." you said and he smiled at you slowly approaching you. When you were at centimeters away from his face, he connected your lips with his, kissing you sweetly. You felt as if this was the right thing to happen, a lot of thoughts invaded your head and all you could think of was him, the one you loved soo much.

When you broke, he looked at you and caressed your cheeks with his fingers.

"What about you come and have dinner with me and my sister? I'm sure she would enjoy your company as much as I do." he said and you chuckled.

"How could I refuse to see Ayaka and Thoma, I missed them so much, but I missed you even more." you added and he smirked.

"I didn't expect anything else my dear, after all I'm your soul mate." he said and you rolled your eyes.

"As you say "lord" Kamisato. "you said and he grabbed your waist pushing you into him.

"You will get to see me as lord Kamisato too one day, dear, just wait and see." he said and grinned as you blushed hard.

And with that, you both headed to the Kamisato Estate.

A/N: This is another short fluff because I also love Osamu!!! Ugh, what a king. Anyway, this is based off a real date I went on where I had no fucking clue how to open the onigiri and it was embarrassing. Please let me know what you think and if it makes sense ily.

“How could you?” Osamu’s wail startled you. 

Atsumu raised an eyebrow at you. You and he were manning Onigiri Miya while Osamu had taken your car to get serviced. You were sitting at the counter supervising Atsumu, who hadn’t let you stand for more than five minutes. Both twins doting on you was nice, but you were sort of getting sick of being treated as a fragile pregnant woman. You were only five months in too so it wasn’t like you were gigantic and waddling around just yet. 

Osamu burst in from the back and slammed the offending wrappers in front of you. You smiled sheepishly but cursed inwardly at yourself for not cleaning your car before you let him take it. The wrappers were from store bought onigiri you’d picked up from the market on your lunch break a couple of weeks ago.

Atsumu peered over his twin’s shoulder and asked, “What are you a clean freak now? Tch, yelling at your pregnant wife over a wrapper is low ‘Samu.” 

Atsumu always took your side, and you smiled sweetly at him for it. He puffed out his chest a bit at your silent approval.

“It’s not about the wrappers! It’s about the contents! I can’t believe you went and bought premade onigiris from the store when you have a wonderful chef of a husband right here! I could’ve made you any onigiri you wanted that would be a million times better than this crap and you know that!” Osamu was trying to seem more mad than hurt but the genuine heartache at this action flowed through his cracking voice.

You sighed, “I’m sorry baby. It was just that I needed something fast on my lunchbreak a while ago and they just sounded so good. It’s your fault this baby is making me crave onigiri so much!” 

You pointed an accusatory finger at him. He cracked a sweet smile at the mention of your little one having anything because of him. He still couldn’t believe the sweet life growing in your belly was going to be half him and half the best thing in his life. Well best thing in his life for now. 

He looked down at the wrapper to remind himself why he was mad before biting back, “If it was really my baby it’d have much better taste than for this crap!”

Atsumu piped in, “Well if it’s not yours I hope it’s mine.” 

Osamu whirled around and punched his twin hard in the shoulder for that.

You were pouting now once Osamu’s attention was back on you. You leaned forward to rub his forearms over the glass display case. He sighed at the contact, still huffy.

“I just still like these because they remind of when we first spoke.” 

Oh no, you had him there. He was nothing if not a nostalgic fool. A goofy grin overtook his face as he cupped yours to bring you in for a deep kiss. The memory you were referring to playing in his mind, drowning out Atsumu’s gagging noises.

Osamu was in a bad mood. Atsumu would not stop following him to harp on him about his spiking. He hadn’t even had an off day, but of course nothing was good enough for an ass like ‘Tsumu. Osamu thought if he went into the local market he’d get some solace but that was never going to happen. As he walked towards the prepared grab n’ go section as Atsumu still bitched about his decoy work, ‘Samu was wishing he’d eaten his twin in the womb. 

The only thing that got ‘Tsumu to shut up was seeing a pretty girl in said section. You were wearing an Inarizaki uniform and a cute pensive look on your face as you surveyed the selection of onigiri. You weren’t Japanese, but holy shit were you hot. How had neither of them never noticed you before?

You turned upon feeling eyes on you and waved at the recognizable Miya twins. You weren’t a huge volleyball follower but you couldn’t not know who they were at Inarizaki.

Osamu gulped and stepped towards you to look at the food. A blush adorned ‘Samu’s cheeks as you were so close your shoulders nearly brushed. You already had a salmon onigiri in your hand, his favorite and of course the last one. Atsumu hung back to watch the inevitable shit-show unfold. Atsumu hung back to watch the inevitable shit-show unfold. He didn’t think this was going to end well. Osamu was nice and polite but food brought out a nasty side to him. Atsumu planned to rescue you from his mean brother once this happened and then have you fall hopelessly in love with the better twin.  

You noticed Osamu’s fixated gaze on the snack you were holding and held it up to him. 

“Did you want this one? You can have it, I don’t even really know how to open them,” You laughed and shrugged trying to make a lighthearted joke out of your obvious foreignness. 

Osamu smiled, “I can show you. It’s really not that hard once you get the hang of it.”

Atsumu sputtered, who was this guy? The Osamu he knew would’ve immediately snatched up the onigiri and walked away without a second thought or glance your way. 

“Oh my god please do! It’s so complicated! Here let me pay for whatever you get in exchange for the lesson,” You were beaming at him now.

Osamu grabbed a random onigiri without taking his eyes off you. How could he ever look away from such a pretty sight?

Atsumu was left forgotten as you two went to checkout. He decided to just walk home alone and let his twin have his five seconds of fame with the pretty girl. ‘Tsumu would get your number another time. 

You paid and Osamu walked you over to a bench outside the store.

You sat with your body turned towards him, yours knees brushing. The contact sent a shiver down Osamu’s spine. He held his onigiri in his lap as he demonstrated the way to unwrap it without ripping the seaweed. He tried not to show his obvious disgust at the fact that the flavor he’d picked up was seasoned kelp, his least favorite. You watched intently then slowly unwrapped yours the same way. Some of the salmon filling got on your fingers and you sighed thinking you did it wrong.

“It’s supposed to be messy, no biggie. As long as your seaweed is intact you’re good,” He reassured you.

You smiled again and just licked the filling off your fingers. Osamu felt something weird happen to his body as he watched you suck your pointer finger.

You held the onigiri out to him again, “Here take this one. I can tell you want the salmon one more than the kelp.”

He smiled sheepishly at being read so well, “Or we can just share. Here take a bite of mine and I’ll take a bite of yours.”

You nodded in agreement to the plan and you both took a bite at the same time of the other’s snack. Osamu swallowed his bite whole. He didn’t care to taste it because all that was going through his mind was biting into his own and having an indirect kiss with you. 

Now Osamu had done much more than just indirect kissing with you, your baby bump evidence of that, and he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life doing it. 

After he pulled away from your kiss he just mumbled, “You just don’t know what nasty preservatives they put in those things or who made them. I only want the best for you and our baby.”

“I know, I promise to only eat your food for the next four months ok?”

Instead of replying he just kissed you again. 

“Speaking of, a world famous Miya seasoned kelp onigiri sounds divine right now,” You batted your eyelashes up at him to really butter him up.

Osamu scoffed and released you from his hold, “Disgusting.”

Yet he turned to go make said onigiri just how he knew you would like anyway. He had always made whatever you liked whenever you liked and he wasn’t ever going to stop.

He flipped Atsumu off as his twin mumbled simp at him.

The nights were colder in Liyue Harbor than they were in Mondstadt.

You’d learn this quickly upon your arrival.

You’d also learn of Liyue’s rich history

as told by Wangsheng Funeral Palor’s Consultant,

Zhongli.

You met him by chance as you were torn deciding between Stone Harbor Delicacies or Noodles with Mountain Delicacies at Liuli Pavilion.

“I recommend Mountain Delicacies.” You jolted at the velvety voice.

“Noodles in a meat-and-vegetable sauce. The sauce has a rustic flavor, and there's a generous amount of it mixed in with the noodles. A humble but enduringly popular dish.”

Glancing over your shoulder, you met with eyes of melted amber. You gave him a smile before turning back to the woman.

“I’ll take two of those, then,” You glanced back “That is… if you’re willing to join me.”

He smiled.

One that was sure to shine brighter as the lone moon in the sky.

He spoke of many things, like the origins of Blackcliff Forge and the Lantern Rite.

To the inner workings of procuring the finest ore.

But he also listened,

He listened to you speak of your homeland.

Even if his smiled said that he knew,

his eyes danced with unique curiosity.

And as he walked you home, listening to the chirps of night.

You realized:

“Even though you've been here for three years now?” Zhongli hummed. “How odd. I thought you would have been accustomed to it by now.”

“Yeah, maybe… but things here are very different. Mondstadt’s never had a breeze other than inviting.” You shoved your hands into your pockets. “These winters are… harsh.”

“And the winters of the City of Freedom are not?” He titled his head.

A sign that he truly didn’t know the answer to the question posed.

“Not really. If the winds are cold they feel as if they’re teasing. Not enough to sting.”

He chuckled (You liked the sound of it). “Yes… the people of Liyue are built more sturdy than other regions.” He paused, “maybe not as sturdy as Snezhnayains.” He trailed off, eyes far off.

The melted amber hardening.

So you watched the sunset,

as he reminisced.

“I’m sure you have questions for me.”

On the day of his birth,

final day of the year,

he broke the serene silence.

“And yet, I’m sure you know.”

You did.

Zhongli was no mortal man.

He knew too much.

Not only of ancient histories, but down to the minuscule minerals in ore.

His eyes glowed in a way different than that of vision users.

His “Vision” didn’t hum like yours.

Like it was a fake,

but it still smoldered when used.

And when Rex Lapis died

And Liyue almost fell to an ancient god, but was saved by mortals and adepti.

He seemed relieved.

A heavy weight removed from his shoulders.

You couldn’t deny it any longer.

You nodded, “but I want to hear you say it.”

Harden amber swirled with mixed emotions. “I am Rex Lapis, God of Contracts.”

“Morax, The Warrior God.” You added, watching as fear took the forefront.

“Yes.” The word laid heavy on his soul. Strong stance crumbing at the confession.

“A god who has lived for more than six thousand years.” You bit your lip. “While the life of a mortal is but a flash of lightning. Fleeting.”

He said nothing.

So this is how it ended.

On his birthday, as the sands of time turned anew.

However, there wouldn’t be a renewal of this relationship.

“Why would you waste my time?” Tears gathered on your lower lashes. “My life is as small as a speck of dust compared to yours.

“Why spend four of my short years on something that would only bring us both heartache in the end?

“I’ve spent four years loving you… only to be a flame’s flicker in the end…”

You couldn’t hold it in anymore.

Tears fell as waves down your cheeks, washing over the amber necklace he’d given you as a gift your second year in Liyue.

You wanted to take it off, to rid yourself of him.

But you couldn’t.

Unlike a god, you couldn’t throw away love as true as this.

“Please allow me to temper your wilding thoughts.” He sounded… unsure.

You didn’t blame him. You were a sobbing mess at this point, but you were able to calm yourself enough to allow him to try to reason with your unreasonable thoughts.

“I apologize for making you feel as though the time we’ve spent together has been a waste on my part. On the contrary, the time spent with you is unparalleled.”

You rolled your eyes. “You are literally the oldest of the Seven, Zhongli.”

“Yes,” He smiled sadly, “but that does not make me immune to erosion.

“I made a contract with the Tsaritsa. A contract to end all contracts, if you will. Liyue did not fall and so the contract was fulfilled.

“I handed over my gnosis— my connection to Celestia, and have thus been living as a mortal man.

“As Zhongli.

“Soon my godly powers will diminish and I will corrode like any other. So, while I remain on this plane, I ask:

“Will you allow me to spend my final days with you?”

By now your tears had stopped.

His words made sense, and you didn’t think he was lying to you.

Maybe you had rushed into the worst possible situation too quickly.

Your cheeks began to sting as the blood rushed to them.

“You’re asking if I’ll have you?” You crossed your arms with a raised brow.

He smirked. “Familiar, is it not?”

You rolled your eyes, but couldn’t help but grin.

“A moment with you is that of a million, my dear.” He coaxed you into his lap, placing a hand on your cheek. “If you’re willing to join me, that is.”

You smiled.

One reminisce of the sun peeking over the mountains.

Then gave him a searing kiss as the clocks struck 12, pouring every bit of you love into him.

Just as he poured back into you.

Tonight, you’ve brought in the new year with a new understanding of each other.

He was a god no longer and you were a singularity.

Together you realized:

This love was one in a million.

A love that would never be repeated in the infinite cycle of tree and sea.

A love that marks the trunk and abyss.

A love that is purely

Nights seemed to be even longer, reminding you of the empty space beside. You missed his rants about work, his food, and lastly, himself. That’s why anyone would be surprised to find you angry at nanami who had returned after almost a month.

“ hello, love” 

“ Do not speak to me Kento” you grumbled, continuing to watch the latest episode of Attack on Titan. You couldn’t completely concentrate whatsoever as you felt the man sigh.

“ I am very sorry, you know I can’t control my bosses” Nanami grumbles, wrapping his fingers around the tie and loosening it. “ I’m really sorry” 

You could hear all the pleas, but did not respond. Kento’s trip had extended to another two weeks in addition to 10 days. You knew it wasn’t his fault, but you were childish. Sometimes silent treatment works best for either party. Did you forgive him? Yes. There was nothing to forgive him in the first place.

The night was calm, the birds were asleep, the sun went to bed as the moon took over watching down on everyone. Here you and your boyfrind Katsuki sit underneath the stars as you take in the moment. Currently, you were both in a little feild watching the stars on a mid-week date to clear your minds from the busy hero world.

"Do you think it's lonely up there?" You ask quietly to Katsuki as you catch him out of his daydream, he looks down at you with a queryful look as he waits for you to continue. When he realises you too are immersed in the tranquility that that stars above hold, he asnwers

"In the sky?" He asks making himself sound so stupid, you laugh a little at his cute answer,

"Yes, the stars look so close yet so far apart" you ponder as you lay down on the soft grass. Katsuki follows your movements as he brings you close against him for warmth.

"The moon keeps them company surley" Katsuki takes part in your little brainstorm, he loves when you explore your childlike curiosity when it's just you and him, nobody to shame you for "silly questions"

"Hopefully, do you think the moon feels left out when people on wish on stars to fulfill their dreams?" Katsuki didn't expect you to have put so much thought into your little question, but he still finds it so cute how curious you can become with the simplist of things.

"Well, What's the moon good for? It only gives us light" katsuki wasn't sure what answer you were looking for, but by the way your eyebrows scrunched up and let out a tiny huff, he knew it was the wrong answer.

"We could wish for something" you say cuddling up to Katsuki since he naturally is warm. Katsuki lets out a little laugh at your cute antics, nonetheless he indulges into your childish antics.

"Waddya' wanna wish for?" He asks waiting for you to think of something.

You look up at the full moon, thinking of something to wish for, may it come true or not you will never know until it happends, so you want it to make it count.

"Happiness" you say calmly

"Happiness?" Katsuki asks back to you to make sure thats what you really want to wish for.

"Yes, everyone deserves happiness in their life" you say smiling into another hug against Katsuki's warm side, Katsuki give you a squeeze back.

"Sure thing, how do we wish to the moon?" He asks as he leans his head ontop of his arm resting underneath.

"We can close our eyes and wish in our heads" you say as Katsuki closes his eyes as he follows your instructions. As Katsuki closes his eyes tighly and wishes for happiness in his life, he wished for you to have happiness in your life. You deserve it more than anything.

"Daddy! Daddy! Look the moon is out! Can we say goodnight?" Katsuki's son says as he sees the moon shining brightly from his bedroom window. He always tried his luck at bedtime trying to push bedtime back by just a few minutes. But, Katsuki knew his son too well and he knew how much saying goodnight to the moon meant to him.

"Alright, alright, watcha' wanna tell mommy then hmm? Katsuki asks as he leans down to the young boys height as he thinks hard about what he wants to tell to mommy.

Whenever Hoshi, your son, seen the moon he was reminded of you. He had so many things in his everyday life to remind him of you, but this was something special to him. Since he was little, Hoshi was told to tell all his worries to you , the moon, because you'll have it sorted out so he won't have to worry anymore.

"So? Any idea's little man? Your bedtime was 5 minutes ago" Katsuki says reminding the young blond that he is staying up past his bedtime, which was rare with Katsuki.

"Do you think mommy gets lonely up there all by herself?" Hoshi asks worriedly at his dad, Katsuki knows how much Hoshi misses you, as does he, but for now he needs to put his emotions aside and asure his worried child.

"No, she has all the stars around her to chat to, don't worry bud" Katsuki assures Hoshi as he gives him a little hug and a squeeze.

"I want to wish something to mommy" Hoshi says, he wants to tell you everything about his day in private, instead he opted for a small wish to help him sleep better tonight, something that has been on this young boys mind for a while.

"Okay kid, what is it, tell mommy" Katsuki says in a gentle voice as he awaits Hoshi to tell you his wish.

"I want mommy to be happy" hoshi says with a big smile mirroring yours you once use to shine at Katsuki.

"Mommy is already happy, Hoshi, she has us" Katsuki says as he holds Hoshi a little tighter then before, he knows how hard your death was for him, so he wants him to know he's always there for him if he needs comfort.

"Is that why she's smiling at us?" Hoshi asks, by smiling he means shining, but to him and Katsuki, thats you smiling down on them.

"Of course bud, the biggest smile, she's happy"
