a/n: i laid in bed and wrote this after school so yeah. i love domesticity, wanted to write fluff after writing so much angst for thin ice. :)

diluc always has to leave late for night watch, but there’s one thing he’ll do without fail: he kisses you softly on the forehead before he leaves. diluc doesn’t know how to aptly show affection when you’re awake, but pecking you on the forehead before you leave is a step in the right direction to him.

kaeya will always give you his coat when you’re cold. he doesn’t even need for you to say anything; that thick, fluffy, leather jacket gets draped around your shoulders without fail. when you look at him with surprise, he only winks and shrugs his shoulders.

on days where you come home after he does, zhongli always has a cup of tea prepared for you. most days, it’s oolong tea. but the more and more time you spend together, he sorts through your preferences. zhongli won’t skip out on details either; he knows exactly when to stop pouring in the creamer, how many sugar cubes is just right, and how long to set it over the stove so that it’s warm when you come home to him.

albedo will always ask how your day is before you can even say “welcome home!”. he wants to know everything always, and that includes discovering what makes his love happy and sad. he’ll be quiet in listening, staring at you with enamored eyes.

no matter the weather, sick or in good health, itto is always willing to cuddle you. he likes hold your hand while doing so and stuff his head into your neck too. no words need to be exchanged—everything is already expressed in the steady rhythm of his heart.

gorou is always willing to run out and get you whatever you need. if it’s the middle of the night and you want some miso soup? he’s already halfway out the door. sometimes, he’ll even come home with whatever you were thinking about needing. he’ll joyously laugh in delight, chuckling that you both are telepathic.

childe always brings home gifts. whether or not he’s been gone for a few hours or a few months, he’ll return to you with trinkets. when you ask him why he bought it, he’ll bashfully reply that it reminded him of you.

to everyone else, xiao couldn’t care less about reminding them of their well-being. but before you ever go anywhere, xiao will clippedly scold you for not wearing warmer clothes, or forgetting to bring an umbrella. when you tell him thank you, he’s reduced to a flustered, blushing mess.

thoma, somehow, is always one step ahead of you when it comes to chores. when you leave the dinner table to go get your phone? he’s already wiped down the table, put away the leftovers, and is in the middle of washing dishes when you return. when you come home, your room is spotless, the closet is organized, and taroumaru is well-fed. if you try to tell him that you can do some of the work, he’ll laugh and tell you it’s no big deal.

sleepy boys ft. xiao, venti, diluc, thoma, itto

as an adeptus, xiao doesn’t actually need sleep, but that doesn’t stop him from getting exhausted. it makes him a little crabby and even more standoffish than usual, but give him a hot bath, spoon him and even maybe hum something to him and he’ll be out pretty quickly. sometimes, if he’s really relaxed, his eyes get heavy and he might make tiny, cute yawns, lean into you a little heavier than he was already. if you bring it up, he gets super defensive and denies it, but it’s really cute.

venti sleeps a lot—mostly when he’s drunk or bored, and he loves when you join him! if he’s drunk, give him some water to help with the hangover he’s about to have and get him into bed for a night of cuddling and him slurring out ballads about you. if he’s bored, he likes to climb all over you to find a comfortable position before he tries to sleep. if you’re working, he’ll stretch across your hands like a cat—cute but horribly distracting. he likes getting goodnight kisses, even if it’s just a nap—make sure you give him one, otherwise he’ll make a big fuss out of it.

diluc’s sleeping schedule is horrendous. he’s up all day attending to the winery and up all night bartending or haunting the streets of mondstadt. the only time he really gets any sleep is when he’s about to pass out and you make him—he’ll put up a little fight about it because he’s not a child, he can take care of himself, he’s fine, but as soon as you get him in your lap he’s fast asleep and burying his face in you. he’s so warm, radiates it like a furnace. the temperature flares if he’s having a nightmare, and it can be scary the first few times, but just stroke his hair and give him little reassurances and it will even out again. if he’s actually sleepy? give him sleepy cuddles, because he’s so big and warm; it’s a heavenly experience.

thoma is another one that works until he drops. he’s usually so worried about everything around him that he doesn’t notice he’s exhausted until he’s barely able to stand up. he’ll try to weasel his way out of resting, but just ask if he’ll at least cuddle with you, please? he’s been so busy lately… and after a minute, he’s absolutely limp. thoma will scoot towards anything warm when he’s sleeping, and usually that thing is you—even if you start out separate, you’ll wake up with him sprawled all over you.

itto loves loves loves sleeping with you!! he likes being the big spoon because he can wrap his arms around you and squeeze you like a teddy bear (gently, of course), and he likes cuddling in general. it takes forever for him to actually fall asleep, though, because he just gets excited about even being beside you. just give him little kisses and comb his hair, let him talk himself out, and eventually you’ll have a big oni-puppy curled around you and snoring. he’s a very animated sleeper, moves around and talks and sometimes laughs, and it’s usually very endearing if he isn’t kicking or rolling on top of you.

Bakugo :

Possessing a quirk like yours made it hard for you to make friends growing up, the kids were intimidated and sometimes even scared of you. And you've made your peace with being alone most of the time, until you met Katsuki.

He approached you first -but not in a flirty manner- he was just admiring your quirk since he found it unique, and you were happy to have found someone to talk to.

He found you interesting and liked watching you using your quirk, and soon enough you two became joined at the hip.

It wasn't long before you two realized that your feelings were much greater than those of a friendship.

After you two became a couple, Katsuki was just the proudest guy to have someone as strong and as cool as you are in his life and by his side.

He would comfortably and happily admit that you are the only person who can easily kick his ass.

Your quirk allows you to understand and sense how people feel, and you use that whenever Katsuki has a hard time expressing himself to you or to others.

You have to be partnered up with him during missions because he feels like you two are capable of winning any fight if you're together.

Sometimes you get weak and emotionally drained after using your quirk for a long duration, and whenever something like that occurs, Katsuki is there for you.

He would leave the fight in the capable hands of his comrades and rushes to your side. The first thing he does is taking you away from the scene and to a more peaceful one.

He would allow you to cry or scream or even hit him, depending on how you're feeling at the moment. And once you've calmed down you'd apologize immediately and profusely, and his response is always the same, he smiles and kisses your tears away, reminding you that he will forever be by your side.

Shouto :

You two worked at the same agency for a while before you could even have the guts to approach one another. And even when that happened, it was because you were paired up in a mission.

Both of you are introverts, which is why it was a little awkward between you two at the beginning. You tried your hardest to come out of your shells and it was fun to watch you two struggle with regular small talks as opposed to your savagery during a fight.

You two are extremely powerful in your own unique way: his quirk is eye-catching and flashy, whereas yours is much more understated and subtle, which is why you two work perfectly together.

What started as comradery soon turned into something else, and your quirks were no longer the only thing you liked about each other.

Working side by side as a couple hasn't got so many differences from doing so as mere colleagues. That being said, there was one thing that actually changed in Shouto's behavior. He became a lot more concerned about your safety.

Having worked together for a while, he is familiar with how the unrestrained use of your quirk can affect your psyche, which is why he forces you to retreat as soon as he notices a change in your behavior.

Even so, there are times when he's a little too late to take notice of your state, in which case you find yourself swept up your feet and carried away to a safer place.

And it goes both ways, you use your quirk to ease his mind whenever things get rough especially with his family.

You understand when he needs your help because he walks up to you, takes your hands in his and places your palms on his cheeks, all the while looking deeply into your eyes. And it's like looking at a cute little puppy.

And you are greatly thankful that your quirk is able to ease your beloved's troubled mind, the way he's able to ease yours.

Izuku :

He was fascinated by you the moment you two were assigned to the same mission.

He approached you afterwards, bombarding you with questions about your quirk and about the way you use it.

He told you that the type of quirk you two have is somewhat the same, as he possesses One For All which is a stockpile of numerous quirks, and you possess multiple powers yourself.

Seeing him speaking enthusiastically made your heart flutter. He was probably the first person to not only speak to you casually, but also admire your powers.

You learned that -he too- was kind of a loner growing up. And when people avoided you because they were scared of your quirk, they avoided him because he was quirkless before receiving One For All.

Growing up, everyone around you constantly insisted that the powers you have are perfect for a villain. And at some point you believed it yourself, but Izuku helped you restore your confidence after years of self doubt caused by your quirk.

You became his shadow ever since then, and he found it cute how you kept following him around everywhere he goes.

You were the first to declare your love to him, but it took you a while to actually gather up your courage and stutter your confession. Thankfully, he too had the same feelings for you and was ecstatic hearing you shyly talk about your love for him. That day was the day you shared your first kiss, and that is something you will never forget.

You are always there for one another, during missions and whatnot. Both of your quirks can leave you overburden and mentally exhausted, and it's up to the other person to stabilize the one in need.

You are each other's number one fan, and each other's favorite person, so you make sure to remind the other of that.

OKAY so I imagine you and Xiao just laying in bed because Xiao FINALLY admitted to himself that yes, he likes being held by you. So you guys are just laying there facing eachother and talking quietly, when you suddenly lean forward and press a kiss to his forehead.. Xiao’s breath hitches, it seems that, no matter how many times you’ve done this, it still makes him feel oh so special. 

His cheeks turn a lovely shade of red- a sight you’ve seen, many, many times. But he seems even more flustered this time however, judging by the way he burries his face in your chest. You smile fondly at him, but your smile falters as he mumbles something in your chest, something that you couldn’t quite catch. You gently ask him what he said, and Xiao nearly whimpers. Now you’re REALLY confused bc what the fuck Xiao…

He slightly lifts his head, not enough for you to see his face, but just enough for you to actually understand what he’s saying. “I… I love you…” he mumbles out, that’s the very first time you’ve ever heard him say that, so PLEASE be nice to him and don’t say “I love you more” 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

CHILDE

You used to visit Childe at work all of the time. Keyword: used.

But when you came to terms with the fact that you were developing feelings for your friend, the visits became less frequent. Eventually you stopped all together. It was difficult for you to be around him without your heart threatening to burst out of your chest at any given moment.

Things were going well- er as well as it could be. You thought avoiding Childe would help settle your heart but you only began to miss him more. Still, you knew that this had to be done for the both of you. But when you were heading back to your place after stopping by the market, you were surprised to see Childe standing outside your door.

“Ajax,” you awkwardly smile at him as if you hadn’t been ignoring him for a couple weeks now, “shouldn’t you be working right now?”

Childe frowns at you as he follows you into your home, “I haven’t seen you in two weeks and that’s the first thing you say? Why haven’t you been visiting me? Or even hanging out with me during my free time?”

Your smile drops. Honestly, you had been hoping that he was too busy to notice your absence.

“I- errr,” you hesitate, thinking of what sort of excuse you could use. but before you can speak more, Childe is already bombarding you with questions.

“Is there a reason why you stopped coming by? Is there someone in the Fatui making you uncomfortable?” he asks, a mixture of worry and anger riddled across his face.

“I- what? No it’s not like that—” your own eyes widen, realizing that Childe got the wrong impression as the result of your actions.

“Are you being threatened by someone? Is it another Harbinger? It’s Scaramouche isn’t it? I should have kn-”

“No! It’s none of that Ajax! It’s you— I don’t show up anymore because I like you and I don’t know what to do about it!” you yell, completely frustrated that he wouldn’t let you utter a single word. But as quickly as you said it, you come to regret your words.

Childe stands there in shock, and you know that you’ve messed up. You’ve essentially ruined the friendship you had with him by digging up the feelings you’ve been trying so desperately to hide.

“Wait no, please let me explain-” you try to come up with some sort of excuse for your words, but Childe shakes his head.

“Y/n, I’m going to go outside for just a second. Let me gather my thoughts please” he calmly tells you. And before you can even respond he steps out of your house, gently closing the door behind him.

But not even a minute passed and Childe reenters your house- albeit not looking that much different than he did before.

“I’m going to need you to repeat what you said for me please” he asks, his demeanor still calm. You can’t get a read on his expression, but you’re inclined to believe that he was upset with you.

“No I- well, what I meant was-” you start to stammer, trying to find away to retract your words and have it so he never heard you in the first place. In the midst of your incoherent ramblings, Childe walks up to yours standing a mere foot away.

He brings his hands up to your cheeks, and you have no choice but to look up at him.

“Y/n,” there was something about the tone in his voice- it was so soft but also so desperate, “please, repeat what you said. I want to make sure I heard correctly before I do anything”.

His words made you pause- because you could have a suspicion regarding the motive behind his words. But you’d rather not jump to any conclusions. Still, he was your closest friend that asked for your honesty.

“...I like you Ajax,” you finally admit.

Childe’s eyes widen ever so slightly, as if it was the first time he heard these words. He presses a kiss to your forehead before leaning his own forehead against yours, sighing in relief.

You felt your own cheeks warming up, and surely he could feel it too.

“You’re too precious, Y/n” he murmurs under his breath.

He straightens up, pleased with the flustered look on your face. But before he could tease you any further, he checks the time, cursing under his breath.

“Damn, okay I actually have to head back right now. But once I’m done with everything, let’s talk, yeah? I have something to confess to you too,” he grins at you, sneaking a quick kiss on your cheek before taking off.

You still stood in your house, groceries in hand, absolutely shocked at what just happened. Your cheeks continued to burn as you replayed his words in your brain.

It was certainly something to look forward to.

KAZUHA

When moment came around and you realized you had feelings for Kazuha, your closest friend, you honestly weren’t sure what to make of it. Perhaps this was just a small crush that would dissipate. It made sense- Kazuha was cute, he always knew the right things to say to make anyone’s heart flutter. Yours especially.

But the crush didn’t go away. If anything, you started to like him more as the days went by. You started noticing little details about him that only made him seem more endearing to you. And your heart couldn’t take it.

Just being around Kazuha made you frantic. You couldn’t help it when your gaze naturally lingered towards him, or the way you subconsciously stood perhaps the slightest bit too close to him. You felt like your heart was pouring out- and you were honestly afraid of coming off as overbearing around him.

And so, you started to distance yourself from the samurai. Not forever- just temporarily until you were able to ket yourself in check. You didn’t think much about your actions; in fact you thought that perhaps he wouldn’t even recognize your absence during this time.

But one morning, you hear knocking at your door, and who else wold be standing in front than Kazuha himself? By this point, two weeks have already passed. 

“Kazuha! What brings you here?” you nervously ask. The feelings you had for him didn’t settle down at all- if anything, seeing him like this after two weeks made your heart beat even faster.

But Kazuha remains stoic.

“Well, we haven’t spoken in a while, and everytime I see you out you seem to ignore me or walk in the other direction. Care to explain?” he asks you.

You can’t answer him. How would you come up with a reasonable explanation that didn’t give away all of your feelings at once?

“Have I done something wrong?” Kazuha asks once more, and you’re unable to meet his gaze, unsure of what to say.

But he takes your silence as an answer.

“I see,” he says, his eyes darting down to the floor, “well, I’m really sorry I’ve upset you. I’d like to know what I did wrong, but if you no longer wish to see me then I’ll respe-”

“No, it’s not like that!” you exclaim in full panic.

“Sometimes I just don’t know how to act around you and wait- it’s not like I’m intimidated by you or anything it’s because I get really nervous around you and my heart starts racing a lot and I think you’re really amazing-” you continue rambling about. Words were never your strong suit, a direct contrast to Kazuha’s natural tendency to be oh so articulate.

The samurai smiles, folding his arms as he leans against the doorway. Even amidst your babbling, he’s able to grasp the situation. He’s just waiting for you to say it first.

“I make you nervous? In what way? The same frightening way that monsters appear to new adventurers?” Kazuha asks you, his lips forming a small grin.

"What? No of course not! I’m not like scared of you in that way! It’s just that.. that..”

You fumble around with your words, and lose all composure as you become a flustered mess. Kazuha only chuckles, pulling you close to him so he could rest his forehead on your shoulder. If you weren’t so wrapped up with your words, you would’ve noticed the way Kazuha’s cheeks were absolutely flushed.

“I’m sorry— I didn’t mean to tease you so much. Take your time Y/n, and tell me when you’re ready, yeah?” he reassures you.

You don’t say a single word in response, only nodding along to his question. One of these days, you’d have the courage to face him and be honest with your feelings. And Kazuha could wait forever for that day.

Because unbeknownst to you, while you felt like your heart was racing all of the time around Kazuha, his heart was experiencing the same exact thing. It was only a matter of time before you would learn this though.

AYATO

Being friends with the Kamisato Clan certainly held a lot of perks. Not that you ever utilized these privileges— you were truly close to the Kamisato siblings (and Thoma) simply because you enjoyed being around them.

You were especially close with Ayato. You spent most of your free time up at the estate, and not a day went by where you weren’t in his office, chatting with him. Ayato insisted that you weren’t a bother and that he had just finished his work by the time you showed up- though you had doubts that this happened every time you swung by.

It didn’t take long for you to develop the biggest puppy crush on him.

Nor did it take long for rumors to circulate about you two.

You were walking around Inazuma City, aiming to buy groceries for the next hot pot game planned. And that’s when you heard the hushed whispers behind you.

“Isn’t that the one close to the Kamisato siblings?”

“I think so- I heard they’re just trying to get close to Ayato because he’s the head”

You stilled at their words- none of it was true of course. But you didn’t have any courage in you to tell them otherwise. You genuinely liked Ayato, and you never once used the Kamisato name to uplift yourself. Would anyone believe you though? You were still an outsider, so anyone would see you as someone trying to climb the social ladder. How frustrating. Normally you wouldn’t mind, but what if Ayato thought the same? You constantly pestered him— was he just humoring you this entire time while secretly resenting you?

And from the day onwards, you kept your visits to the estate to a minimum- only swinging by to finish any errands you had with them. And even when you were there, you avoided going to Ayato’s office, only speaking to Ayaka and Thoma. Hopefully he was too swamped with his duties to realize your absence.

But to hope for that was asking for too much.

Because days later, as you were strolling through Inazuma City, you felt a quick tap on your shoulder. Once you turned your head, you were greeted by Ayato’s face, mere inches away from your own.

“Found you,” Ayato smiles, and you feel your cheeks warming up. But before you can let your heart run wild, your eyes do a quick scan of the area around you. It was quite the busy street, and Ayato was bound to be recognized. You quickly grabbed his arm, pulling him to behind one of the shops and out of view from any passerby's.

“What are we doing back here? C’mon, lets go to the shops and buy stuff for our next hot pot game. We had to postpone the last one since you didn’t show up” Ayato says, grasping your hand in his and bringing you back to the bustling streets. You try resisting, still in a panic that someone could see the two of you together.

“Ayato wait no! People might think-” your pleads are quickly interrupted and Ayato comes to a halt, turning back around to face you. His usual smile was gone, replaced with a more serious expression.

“You don’t think I know what the latest gossip is around here? People talk nonsense all of the time. No matter what we do, they’ll always scrutinize us. I’ve learned to just ignore it and let it die down” Ayato tells you.

He hesitates for a second, and the look in his eyes turn solemn.

“However, if you still have objections, I’ll respect your decisions” he says, and you notice how the grip he has on your hand loosens a bit. Because maybe he could ignore these rumors, but the gossip subject was you, and Ayato didn’t know if you wanted to be entangled in such a lifestyle that would warrant this much attention.

You shake your head, adjusting your hand so that the two of you were now interlocking fingers.

“No… I’m fine with them. I just didn’t want you to believe in them either,” you murmur.

Ayato smiles softly at you, “I would never,” he reassures you before bringing your hand up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss on the back of your hand. From the corner of your eye you saw how people turned away, whispering amongst themselves. But neither of you cared at all.

"i love you," tomura says under his breath as he watches you sleep. the glow of his tv shines faintly against your figure; face half shown and arm hanging off the foot of the bed, pinky linked with his. he finds himself doing this often during commercial breaks—even though the tv isn't as loud as usual and he's close enough to hear your breathing, he always needs to check that your still there. the hold tightens and he lifts it up, ever so gently to admire it. "i don't tell you it enough..." he pauses, letting your hand down and pulling away from the embrace. a breath leaves him and his eyes are once again glued to the screen, "but i really do."

diluc

imagine resting on him under the great tree at windrise at the end of a paired patrol one night. thanks to your insistence, the winery owner begrudgingly accepted your request. sleep overtakes you as you sit beside him and the poor man freezes when he feels a weight on his shoulder, slowly tilting his head to look at you.

adorable, he thinks. so adorable that it makes his heart squeeze in a way he’s never experienced before, and butterflies begin to flutter around in his stomach. after a long moment of contemplation he silently shrugs off his large coat and drapes it around your shoulders. not too long after, diluc places his cheek on top of your head, snoozing off with you. you seem content with the new warmth, huddling closer to the man who held your heart even if he didn’t know that yet.

zhongli

the two of you were out for the whole day after he promised to help you with your commissions as repayment for all the money you’ve lent him. you shook your head in disagreement, telling him there was no need and that you just wanted him to remember his mora, but he was firm in his insistence.

night came sooner than expected and you were still a distance away from the familiar safety of liyue harbour. you were by wangshu inn, to be precise, but neither of you had the mora for a room. instead, zhongli found you both a relatively warm shelter under a tree and suggested sleeping there for the night. the ground was quite unforgiving, however, and soon you could feel yourself getting sore. noticing your discomfort from the hard ground, zhongli offered you his body. sturdy arms were held open invitingly, beckoning you to him.

kaeya

on his way back to his apartment after a long day at work you stumble across him and decide to make up for some lost time. you, yourself, had been busy at the guild and so you didn’t have as much time to spend with each other- much to both of your dismays. you decided that sitting by the lake outside the walls would be the best location to relax by.

kaeya passes out on you seeming to be asleep- but in reality he’s only pretending. it’s the only way he knows how to get closer to you without his false, flirty facade. you’ve rejected each one of his prior advances and it took quite the toll on his confidence. perhaps they truly feel nothing for me after all, he thought to himself dejectedly one day. so he took the cowards way out. if this was the closest he would get to you then so be it.

itto

it was raining by the time the pair of you decided to head back to hanamizaka. not wanting you to catch a cold (or perhaps more so to save his hair…), itto leads you to a nearby cave to take shelter. thunder claps in the distance and you startle, jumping at every boom in the sky.

a wave of understanding hits the oni suddenly as he clasps your smaller hand in his protectively, pulling you to his chest and making sure you felt as safe as possible. shuffling you so that you were basically using him as your makeshift bed, itto smoothed his hands up and down your back. his embrace was comforting and all-encompassing, and you dozed off feeling much safer.

thoma

whilst you loved your job as another estate keeper, days could really be tiring. you truly loved the people you worked with and the people you worked for but the job was quite physically exerting. nobody understood that better than thoma and so he grabbed ahold of your wrist and tugged you towards the nearby cliff.

the sun was just beginning to set beyond the horizon as you and thoma conversed for what seemed to be both an eternity and not enough time at all. though you were certain he’d never return your feelings, you couldn’t bear to be away from him and so you treasured tender moments between you. thoma turned to you after noticing the prolonged silence but was surprised to see you already fast asleep. shaking his head he carefully drew you in close enough to rest against his side, smiling to himself. he’d tell you how he feels one day.
