I mean that the ‘gifts’ I had are useless
Reading books above my age isn’t a talent when I’m not eleven
Knowing big words isn’t a talent when I’m not a kid, it’s just growing up
It’s just a weird thing that happens and it feels shitty when you’re brought up being told you’re an exceptional child only to realise as an adult you’re just average
I'm not proud of it but I just work so well under pressure? Like I had to make a presentation about an article of choice and I literally decided the article today and when I was finished the teacher was like "oh wow I can see you studied for that" and stuf and I was like lol no I just read the article like an hour ago
