-Sometimes he gets carried away in the moment and doesn’t realize if he’s bothering you. Being loud and having super speed can do that. However, he’s also quick to notice your discomfort and will often make an attempt to rein in if he’s being a bit...too much. (That and Wanda will also make a habit of reminding him if he’s not remembering.)
-He picked you up and ran off with you once. The result really depending on your reaction to it.
If you found yourself overstimulated, he ends up being incredibly hesitant to use his super speed with you again.
If you really enjoyed it and are sensation-seeking, he’ll most likely use any and all opportunity to pick you up and run around with you again.
Either way, he tries to warn you in advance just so he doesn’t catch you too off-guard.
-He definitely has stolen fidget toys for you before. And he’ll do it again.
-If you’re touch adverse, he might need some time to get used to that, he’s a very physically affectionate person. But he is very willing to show his affection in other ways.
If you aren’t touch adverse, be prepared for a lot of PDA.
-Someone’s being ableist to you and he sees? Two seconds later, they’re stuffed into a trash can. He’s very very petty about ableism towards you. When you look at him afterwards, he’ll look at you with this big smile. “I bet he didn’t see that coming.”
-He obviously finds it really hard to sit still, so most of the time, he doesn’t even notice your stimming. In a way, you could say he stims as well, so he’s probably the most casual about it out of all the Avengers.
-His first instinct, whenever he sees you having a meltdown, is getting you away from wherever you are and taking you somewhere isolated and quiet. (Whether he uses his super speed to do this or not depends on your reaction to it as stated above.) From there, he’ll attempt to calm you down and help you relax.
-Talking about your hyperfixations is something that generally happens mostly in the gym while you two are training. Pietro may seem like he’s not listening sometimes, but if you stop talking he’ll instantly ask why you’ve suddenly gone quiet.
-Not getting sarcasm and sass is something that Pietro and you might need to work through considering... I mean, he’s Pietro, his first language isn’t Sokovian, it’s sass. This is also the one thing that kind of frustrates him, but he’ll usually brush it off, after all, it’s not more important to him than you are.
-Pietro finds it much much easier to sleep when you’re with him. If you have trouble sleeping due to your Autism, he’ll often make little ‘nights’ with you, where you’ll both stay up and just spend time together until you both eventually crash. Maybe not the healthiest of strategies, but it usually works.
Happy new years everyone! Let’s hope the next year is better than the last few, be careful if you’re out celebrating, and don’t worry if you didn’t reach every goal you set at the beginning of 2021, next year is a new year for everyone, and that means new opportunities to improve.
Stay hydrated, stay safe, get plenty of sleep, and remember to smile! You’re never fully dressed without one!

(from the Thor: The Dark World movie storybook)
Basically a fanfic of Batman Beyond and Batman the animated series. Almost a crossover, I guess? I don’t know what you would call it tbh.
Idk, I had this idea and wanted to put it down somewhere and share ‘cuz I thought it was neat.
Not sure about trigger warnings? I don’t think there’s anything worth warning about tbh. I’ll edit though if anyone says it might need one.
(Read below)
Basically, Terry runs into a villain one night while dealing with what he thought was a normal case.
Perhaps he’s going after some thugs, who basically explain to him in a panic that the person their working for is someone who shouldn’t still be alive. Terry dismisses this, maybe give him a one liner about how he’s dealt with that type before. “Oh, have you now?” a vocie from the darkness. Then, from the shadows, comes BTAS Scarecrow.
Terry is horrified and shocked. Remembering very vividly Bruce describing someone like this from when he was Batman. He goes after him, unmasks him expecting to see a copycat, but he’s no imposter. He looks exactly like he did in BTAS even, not a grey hair in sight. Scarecrow manages to get away, but Terry is more than just a little confused.
What’s worse? During the fight, this Scarecrow manages to break Terry’s wrist simply be grabbing it. Certainly not something Scarecrow could’ve done before.
Bruce already knows about it, having seen someone that looks like Poison Ivy on the news.
They quickly realize just about the entire rogues gallery is back, all of them exactly like they were back in the day, with every memory and fully intact personalities...mostly. You see, some of them have some slight differences. Joker and Harley for instance. Somehow, for some reason, this Joker actually does love Harley and the two are pretty much partners in crime. (Bonnie and Clyde style.)
They confront another imposter in this city, a Batman clone, who, once Bruce appears on the scene, is far more willing to help them figure out what’s going on.
And during a fight with the clone Joker, something happens. Dramatic scene ensues, where Harley is caught in the face by a batarang. She gets up, only to see her reflection in a nearby window, with half of her face torn away, to reveal mech under her skin. It’s here we realize these clones are bio-mechanical copies of the old rogues. Harley panics, Joker realizes what just happened, and they both get away.
Bruce, Bio-mech Batman, and Terry all find out where the bio-mechs came from, while the bio-mech rogues also track down this place (Having woke up dropped in Gotham in random places initially.) Coming in from different areas.
They all find the woman responsible, a crazed scientist obsessed with the old stories and history of ‘The Batman’. The way she talks about him almost makes him seem more like a cryptid, and she explains that she did this to try and get his attention so he’d come back to his life of crime-fighting and put this ‘great value batman’ in his place (She’s talking about Terry.).
The bio-mech rogues and the three batmen all clash, only for the batmen to realize one thing they haven’t noticed until now: The bio-mechs are actually alive. They’re copies of the originals, but they’re also their own people, with emotions like a normal human being.
They all band together to defeat the mad scientist, stopping her plans and putting her in an Asylum. The bio-mechs, having realized now that they’re not the original criminals, aren’t quite sure what to do next, so they all go their separate ways to try and discover what’s next for themselves.
Maybe add an ending chapter involving bio-mech Harley and Joker revealing to the other rogues what happened. Everyone has varying reactions to the news, with many basically having an existential crisis over not being who they thought they were. Some going into denial because, for god’s sake, they remember everything! Even their childhood! But then they recognize a huge gap in their memory from before they popped up in this future Gotham.
Maybe, just maybe, even add a part where a small group of them goes to their supposed ‘graves’, only to discover, yeah, they’re there alright.
Then they all conspire to find whoever made them and get revenge for making them go through this awful shock. After all, why not just make them know they’re copies?
...Yeah, I just had that Idea and I really like it, haha.
what a good day to remember that butch lesbians (ESPECIALLY trans, poc, and/or fat butch lesbians) aren’t fucking predatory
It's kinda sad that the topic that T1 tried to poke went over so many people's heads, because so many fans reduce Odin and Loki's conflict to "you lied to me"/"I'm sad I'm not actually your son/heir to the throne", when it's pretty obvious that it goes way deeper than that: Loki mentions how it finally "makes sense" why Odin "favored" Thor and that Loki could never be good enough no matter how much he tried, because Odin wouldn't allow the frost giant to sit on the throne.
He wasn't upset because he wouldn't get the throne, he admits he never wanted it in the first place, and it's not "oh no I'm adopted", it's more of "You took me as a political prisoner, taught me to hate my own kind, all these years I've been trying to figure out why you would always forgive Thor but you are so harsh and cold when it comes to me, and I've tried to be better because I thought I'm doing something wrong, but the reality is that no matter what I do it'll never be enough for you because I was born on the wrong planet with a wrong skin color that you and your people despise so much that you stripped me off it, and no matter how many times you claim to love me, you couldn't show me kindness unless you needed something from me, and it was never about what I do, just who I am".
No, really, this conflict is so much deeper than what fandom makes it seem to be, and the more I think about it the more messed up it gets.
Using the novelization of movies as evidence for something in the movie itself is really stupid.
Mainly, I'm saying this because the writer of the novelization is often a different person, who is tasked with 'expanding' on the source in their own way. Sometimes given early versions of the script to work off of, which were already scrapped for one reason or another.
So, the writer of the novelization will have a different interpretation of the story/characters than the original writers, and the movie's ideas and entire point may end up getting muddled and overshadowed by the biases and perspective of the novelization's writer.
So, to me, novelizations of movies/tv shows are far more like remakes, not bonus scenes. It follows the same formula, but it's not the same. So it makes no sense to use them as evidence for something in the original movie, whether it be about character, plot, or worldbuilding.
Same with movie-tie in video games, etc. People don't use those as 'evidence' from what I've seen, but I've seen people use movie novelizations as evidence, and it bothers the hell out of me.
Idk, I just wanted to make this post, because I'm annoyed.
Since I realized these two characters have a lot in common, actually.

it really is crazy how women abusing men is still regularly (if "jokingly") viewed as a positive thing. like literally today i was talking to someone about having watched both misery & sunset boulevard in a film class & both of those being about men being abused by women & the person's response was smth like. haha yeah that's so empowering. like obviously these are fictional characters but y'all realize that treating individual human men like poppets to punish Mankind for it's Sins is fucked up and evil yeah. also this directly translates into how trans men are treated as free punching bags for people to take out their anger at more powerful cis men. idk call me crazy but i feel like if you can't hear about men being abused by women without making a "joke" about it maybe you just have a deep problem you need to work on
