Male reader is an autistic guy with a hyper-fixation on mythology.
He gets teased a bit about it as he grows up, but it doesn’t really bother him. That is until he turns 18, when the name of your soulmate is supposed to appear as a tattoo on your wrist. Sure enough, it says ‘Loki’.
When people find out about it, the teasing turns into bullying and making fun of him. With people especially insinuating that nobody in the ‘real world’ wants him, so he only has his mythical gods. Among other things.
Then the attack on New York happens. After things calm down, Male reader is chilling out in a coffee shop. In this coffee shop, he literally bumps into someone. A man with slicked black hair, green eyes, wearing a black suit. (A bit overly dressed for a coffee shop, but whatever.)
Male reader apologizes to him but the man seems very eager to get away from him, almost like he’s trying to hide from someone. That is until he hears the male reader introduce himself.
“Oh, uh, my name is (Y/N) by the way.” The man freezes and looks back at him. His tune changes immediately and he offers the male reader to walk with him as he leaves the shop.
Sure enough, pretty soon they’re walking down the street, talking on and on about the male reader’s hyper-fixation: Specifically Norse myth.
Slowly Loki gets more and more dumbfounded by what he’s hearing, immediately cringing particularly when he’s told of the story about how this mythical version turned into a mare and had a stallion’s children.
Loki finally says something about it under his breath.
(Y/N): “What do you mean?” Loki: “Hmm?” (Y/N): “’I can’t believe how much midgardians got wrong about me.’ What do you mean by that?”
Then, it finally clicks. Once there’s nobody around, Loki shows himself in his green and golden glory. With a smirk, showing (Y/N)’s name on his wrist.
*Que internal fanboy screaming from male reader. With Loki chuckling about it in the background.*
Reblog and tag with a character you love but the fanbase only interest is for horny purpose and totally ignore the character other traits
The 'Loki Series' is to Loki what 'Allstars Batman and Robin the boy wonder' is to Batman.
While both grossly misinterpret the characters they're using, pull stupid unnecessary fanservice, take leaps in logic, have very little consistency, romanticize abuse, and blatantly spit in the faces of the original characters, at least Batman doesn't have an incest relationship in the Allstars comics.
Either way, both of them sound like they were written by edgelords.
Lol I've just met a person who said that "yes, Loki was mind controlled, but he hurt Clint so he's responsible, but Clint is not responsible because he was mind controlled and that was traumatic for him."
It just gets better with every day of existing in this fandom.
You always got strange looks whenever you fed the neighborhood ravens. “I give them food, they give me company,” you’d say. One day, a raven excitedly comes up to you and whispers, “A neighbor plots against you, my lord.”
You know... I just realized something while rewatching Earth's mightiest heroes.
The jotuns in that show clearly try to eat people, right?
Do you think- ...do you think Loki ever gets cannibalistic urges because of that?
I mean, Loki is a jotun, right? Or half-jotun in some universes (The universes where he's Thor's half-brother, for instance). So since Jotuns seem to have that same instinct to prey on humans and Asgardians like in the original mythology, it only stands to reason Loki would, too, right?
Obviously, this wouldn't apply to MCU Loki, because it pretty much does everything it can to characterize them as basically just 'taller icy Asgardians with blue skin'. (Or maybe it does apply, who knows, we didn't get that much world building with the nine realms in the MCU universe before phase four ruined everything.)
But for universes like Earth's mightiest, where it's blatant that they eat people?
I mean, I obviously haven't read all of the comics, so maybe something in a comic I haven't read yet disproves that, but from what I'm currently aware of? It's not impossible.
Personally speaking, I see Scarecrow as being a medicinal user of marijuana. He’s definitely not the ‘giggly pothead’ type. Not a Shaggy Rogers, if you will. But I can see him using it every so often for medicinal reasons.
This also aligns with headcanons involving him having autism and anxiety, both of which I subscribe to. Anxiety and Autism both being things marijuana is used for.
However, what people should be talking about is whether Marvel’s Thor or Loki would be. With how Asgard is in regards to alcohol, you can’t say they would be opposed to indulgence in other substances.
So, really, they must’ve at least tried it once-

When I watched Zootopia the first time, I honestly thought it was going in the direction of the savages being animals who contracted rabies. Especially after seeing the scene with Manchas, I thought: 'Oh, Emmit scratched him, and because of that, he contracted rabies from him.'
...So, what I'm saying is: The actual plot of the movie was disappointing, tbh.
People assuming the predators were going savage only to figure out it's not the predators at all, but a virus that makes you super aggressive and violent? That just sounds interesting. Discounting entirely the sucky 'twist villain' thing. Making the movie have no real villain other than the discovery of a crazed viral outbreak?
...Maybe that's just the zombie fanatic in me talking, but I honestly think that would've made for a way more interesting movie.
I’m gonna be honest: I feel like superhero movies and TV shows should be animated.
There’s just something about live action that makes them, ironically enough, less ‘alive’ feeling. Movement usually feels somewhat stilted in live action to me, even in the better action sequences. Not to mention that you can just do more with animation than you ever could with live action.
(Not mentioning as well that if an actor stops working for a project, it’s far easier to get a replacement voice actor than it is to get a normal actor to replace a live action role.)
