*Incoming long personal rant.*

Reading this made me tear a bit. I had a medical operation back in June and July, that made me not move too much with my arms for at least a month. I can move back to normal-ish since September. That September I played the OG Call of Duty though prior to this I played MW2019 way back and played it on repeat while MW2022 I just watched repeatedly lol.

Just need to acknowledge myself since I was in a series of transitions of my life: I had graduation as a Fine Artist (as a Cum Laude, shocking for me.) on June, 1st operation on June also, then 2nd operation in July and after that recovery till September where I considered myself in ✨funemployed era✨.

Now I need to acknowledge my feelings and things, too many feelings at once I am currently realizing that I have. Prior to before operation, we had a tradition called baccalaureate mass for the graduation class, I was unable to attend due to medical procedures that day and I cried a lot for days, liked very hard, that my parents said why I was so moody at that time they kinda not acknowledge the reason I'm sad and that I 'overreacted' lol (well that's not new to me). I admit I had lost some opportunities as an artist. One of them is having an art exhibition as an alumni, just a jumpstart that I am unable to due because I just recovered from my 1st operation. The spark as an artist after the operations kinda died in me(for months). I know I shouldn't be too hard on myself but sometimes I can't help it. Many lost opportunities and moments were a lost for me at first.

Call of Duty, for its fandom and content, (besides the toxicity) I love and especially this Tumblr CoD community. Writers, artists, and the people made me realize that maybe life isn't too bad after all. Thank you writers, artists, and people for making it such a comfy place towards people like me. You people made people like me, come back to making writings and artworks that we're grateful for or others that use this community as a viewing pleasure and something to deep dive into. Hope we last long and yeet that certain recent official canon lol.

This is a flawed post. Knowing someone’s stance from one or two likes on a post is so misleading. When did they like it? Have they learned since? For example, Elliot Knight posted saying he’s learned since and was misguided in the chaos of the early events. His sister, whom he is incredibly close to, posts nearly every day in support of Palestine. There is no way she didn’t whoop sense into his ass. On top of that, liking certain posts can be doomscrolling, saving them for later, etc. There are actors on here that one hundred percent need to lose everyone’s support. But going “this person who I know nothing about and is relatively private is a Zionist. Evidence: (liked one post on Twitter five months ago)” seems a little extreme. I am whole heartedly pro Palestine. But this shit just makes it impossible to sway others onto our side.

you know his backstory right??? you know his trauma right??? how he was physically, mentally, and sexually abused right??? and we all can assume the number of walls this man has built around himself is astronomical RIGHT???

which is why there is no way on god’s green earth that i believe simon could ever be that cruel with his lover. like, EVER. you broke down every barrier he had, proved every bad thought and insecurity wrong, made him feel strong without his barriers. after that, he wouldn’t be able to even lift a finger against you.

once simon is yours, he is YOURS. there is no question about it, no second thoughts. you fought this hard for him, so he’s giving it all to you. he would never actively try to hurt you. how could he even think of ruining his own piece of heaven?

to me, he isn’t a “i’ll burn the world down for you” kinda guy. he’s a “the world could be burning, and i would still choose you” kinda guy. you’re his ride or die. if he were dying, he would want it to be with his head in your lap, your fingers in his hair, and the only thing in sight being your smile.

and that isn’t to say simon’s a saint. you most definitely still get his sarcasm and dark humor to the MAX, but you get so much more as well. you get his laughter, his gentle touch, his whispers of adoration. you get his back to you as you spoon him from behind, because he’d built a habit of never turning his back to someone. you get to rub moisturizer on his scars, you get to wash away the black paint on his eyes and kiss his weary face whenever he returns from a long mission.

Not only did they fail to address what they did so other people are aware, their initial response to being called out is dismissive and condescending.

Their statement of "wanting to remain neutral" is out of the discussion. Racism is not a matter of opinion or neutrality and engaging in or condoning such behaviour cannot be justified under the guise of neutrality. It's crucial to recognize that discussions about racism and harmful stereotypes have been prevalent in various circles for the past four years. Claiming ignorance or unawareness in this context is not a valid excuse.

From what I've seen in the replies, it's Non-black people insisting that this person is forgiven. IT IS NOT UP TO YOU TO DECIDE THAT. That apology is not meant for you, you don't have the jurisdiction to thank them for apologizing and should not be forgiving on behalf of the offended party. An apology that feels so Overgeneralized comes off as disingenuous.

I'm not Black, I will never understand what it's like to be a Black person. If you are willing to correct/educate me on matters in regards to this, my replies and DMs are always open; I want to learn. If my knowledge is not accurate, I will take this down upon request.
