This was announced in a New York boat club recently, a few days ago. The Santa Maria discovery may have been named too soon, though armaments, wooden ship items of the era and planking was found where it had been recorded by Christopher Columbus, then. It is believed to be so. Found from a written record, this was released. . Who knows what remnants of that time will be recovered? Visions of pirate bones, treasure and doubloons swim in our collective heads. This important discovery has the government involved.
