Why yes, I did choose not to give them a bottom half. No, I'm not sorry for it! XD Zeke is giving a quick glance at Tina daydreaming before going back to his schoolwork. Tina is a very creative person with a deep, rich, inner world, but sometimes she just wants to picture clouds as butts. XD

I know I'm a huntlow blog at heart, but, Zeke and Tina from bobs burgers have begun to rot my brain to the point where I wrote a fic for them faster than I ever have for literally any other pairing.

I'm actually kinda proud of this too, it was so much fun to work on!

This is called Afrezza. It’s an inhaler for diabetic insulin. That’s right. An inhaler. That means no more needles. It’s only for fast acting insulin, but it could still vastly improve the life of a lot of diabetics. 

Imagine having to constantly prick yourself with needles to keep yourself alive, and then suddenly there’s a new product that could change the whole way you live your life for the better.

And here’s the thing: it works. It works really really well. People with diabetes that have been lucky enough to have used it think it’s amazing.

But sadly, it’s probably going to end up as a failure because the pharmaceutical company (a French company called Sanofi) that was in charge of marketing it didn’t care enough to actually try. Not only that, but they made it incredibly expensive so hardly anyone could afford it. Most people have never heard of it, and the way things are going, no one else ever will.

Please reblog this to raise awareness of this product and hopefully get another company to market it. It could change so many lives.

Finally some fanart I drew for once! I had this in the works for awhile. It's not based on anything in canon. I just wanted an excuse to draw Flint mad. So what better way than to have him and the rest protecting Olwen's inner child from her inner demon. If you seen Olwen in previous fanart, I can imagine you're probably curious about something. I encourage you to watch the series, "Shadows of the Old World" though if you are curious about why Olwen is designed differently from how she is as an adult. I just don't think I can do it justice if I explain it myself. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the piece even if you don't plan to watch the series! @mambocat I don’t know if you’ll care about my opinion or not but here it goes. When I was younger I used to not like the idea of Sonic with humans. Mostly because of my exposure to the story of Sonic X. I hated Chris like the majority of the fandom. I guess when I finally was able to play the adventure games I associated the humans with Chris and not like them automatically. As I got older I started to realize, ”Wait, Dr. Eggman is a human so why shouldn't there be others?” I’m fine with humans being with Sonic now because that’s how it always was intended. We just don’t see humans as much in other games because humans have their own countries while Mobians have their’s. I like to think the Sonic and human relationship is like the humans and Crystal gems on Steven Universe. They know he exists but they don’t bother asking questions except for a select few. It’s been awhile since I played a Sonic game with humans so i don’t know how much my headcanon holds.

So Sonic shouldn’t be getting any crap from people just because he’s different. That’s what it all comes down to.

So I need to just take a moment to poop on everyone’s party…I just watched the trailer for “Super Mario Odyssey,” and while it does indeed look very interesting, I can’t help but feel salty over the double standard being utilized here.

So the trailer starts with what appears to be New York or some other large REAL WORLD city, with actual humans - as in realistic ones - walking around minding their own business, and then SUDDENLY here comes Mario with his signature whoo hoo to turn everything into fodder for his cartoon physics.

Now that in and of itself is not a bad thing, no problem with the premise itself. My issue is…fairly simple to understand and may even come off as petty but I’ll risk it regardless.

If everyone is excited about Mario being in the real world…

WHY IN GOD’S NAME WAS IT CONSIDERED A HORRIBLE IDEA FOR SONIC AND STILL IS TO THIS DAY?!

As soon as Mario does it, all that talk about “oh Sonic is a cartoon hedgehog and he doesn’t belong in a realistic universe” goes out the window. You can’t praise Mario for doing it and then say Sonic doesn’t belong when they’re both video game characters who are clearly “out of place” in the world they’re in.

The only difference I can foresee happening here is that Mario won’t have much of a “story” as usual despite the name “odyssey” and Mario of course won’t talk.

And if that does turn out to be the key difference, then Sonic being in the real world was never the problem as so many people claim. The issue was the story itself. How dare someone take a silent protagonist and try to give him a personality?

SEGA tried everything to “backpedal” from the hyper realistic art style, making the humans more cartoony as opposed to actually looking like real life humans. But it didn’t matter, Sonic was still in the “real” world and thus it was bad.

Only when humans (sans Eggman) were cut out altogether were so-called fans happy with the world Sonic lived in again. Where all the humans? Who cares, Sonic shouldn’t be with humans anyway.

But apparently this is okay, because it’s Mario instead of Sonic. Real humans? Yeah that’s okay! It’s about time Mario ventured past the Mushroom Kingdom a little bit!

I call BS, hard.

Since Mario did what he did, then I don’t wanna hear one godforsaken complaint from ANYONE if Project 2017 decides to go back to using human background characters.

I’ve gotten into debates with gamer friends of mine who say that Sonic in the real world (Earth) actively angers them. I should ask them how they feel about Mario and see if they expose their own hypocrisy.

I’m sorry if this angers anyone who thinks I’m complaining too early, but again, it’s not what Mario did that bothers me, it’s that people will inevitably complain if/when Sonic decides to do the EXACT SAME THING while Mario gets praise for it.

That’s why I say I don’t wanna see anyone get angry with Sonic in the real world…but we all know they will. Because it’s Sonic.

Poor guy, he’s doomed to be hated for all of eternity.

Shadows of the Old World Main Party, but in Fancy Clothes:

This is an au idea I wanted to do for the team. Everything is the same, except a specific spoiler event never happened and they all got to wear fancy clothes/accessories for a formal event. The idea first came about when I decided I really wanted the series to have a ball episode at least once, mostly for shipping reasons but still XD. I'm still very much an Olwint shipper over Oldrian, but I needed to know my audience and cater to the more popular ship. It's still my au though, so I can still say Flint gets the last dance with Olwen, so to speak, in the end. lol I'm so glad to finally have closure on this idea. Hope you all enjoy what I made.
