The Rough Draft of the Magician

I’m working on the designs of the “Puppetified” Theatre Overlords, so I’ll be posting pics of the rough draft to get suggestions on what I should change or improve.

Here is the rough draft of the Magician:

I’m still working on a name for him, but I’ll include when I upload his finished design.

I based his design off of the Sem Priests, which were sometimes referred to as “Magicians”. They would were leopard print cloth, I’ve seen both where they wear it around their chest or around their waists.

I also based his design off the Egyptian deity, Set or Seth, who is the god of chaos, storms, pestilence & war; he’s also sometimes referred to as the god of deception, which fits the Magician in that he deceits his audience. Now it’s said that Set’s head is based off an unidentified animal, but some of theorized that it could be a jackal, Saluki, donkey, or an aardvark. I decided to do the aardvark since it looks closer to the “Set Animal”.

I also tried to make him look extremely starved, since he died from starvation.

Please let me know if I got any information wrong & what I should improve on.

Can an Imp or Hellhound Work for an Overlord?

Asking because I’m adding some characters for my Theatre Overlord OCs, 2 of which will be hellborn.

One will actually be a character you all have seen before, she was originally part of another character, but decided to make her a separate character.

Mafiafell Neue Rough Draft

I can’t decide if I want her name to be “Rozha” or “Carter”. I guess one could be an alter alias.

She’s based off the Australian Cashmere Goat.

She’s about an inch or 2 taller than Roman; her hair used to be to longer, but decided to cut it for her side job (and to be spiteful towards her parents).

Ok so this is gonna sound a bit strange, but hear me out.

What if the concept of cowboys originated from a different country?

Often the term/idea of cowboys is often associated with the U.S.

However, the origins of the cowboy tradition is from the Spanish, starting in 1519 when the Spanish arrived in the Americas. It started in Mexico, where the native cowboys were called “Vaqueros”.

Basically this challenge is to come up with a concept/appearance of “cowboys” if they originated or are associated with a different country.

Lineart for the Ballet Overlord

The poses for the reference sheets of the overlords are gonna look stiff and uninteresting, but that’s because I’m just trying to show off the clothing design and general appearance of the character.

Now onto the character:

I’m still trying to figure out a color scheme for her, and finding designs for 1820–1830 Russian Ballet attire was a lot harder than it needed to be.

She’s gonna be the tallest of the Theatre Overlords, I’m still trying to figure out a height, but she’s gonna be taller than Valentino. She seems to carry a lot of weight when moving, you can hear her approaching like an upcoming train.

I’ll go more into her design when I post the base design with colors.

I’m working on the deaths for my overlord OCs, along with some other information like birthday.

Some of these deaths are linked to real world events while others are no way related. Few of these real events is definitely messed up so search at your own risk.

Finally I really need feedback on these so that I can make the proper adjustments and faithful representation.

Was a soldier in the 1st & 2nd Balkan Wars.

Died by being shot in the Battle of Kresna Gorge.

Died on 30 July 1913 at 46yrs old.

Was born on 1 January 1867 in Doxato, Greece.

The Seamstress Overlord

Died in Liverpool, England.

Owned a Boutique in Liverpool & was a Serial Killer.

Died by blunt trauma from falling off a building.

Died in March 1927 at 32yrs old.

Was born on 2 September 1895 in Blackpool, England.

The Orchestra Overlord

Died in Delft, Netherlands.

Became deaf in one ear during a performance.

Died by smallpox at 27yrs old.

Died in February 1871.

Was born on 3 April 1844 in Delft, Netherlands.

The Opera Overlord

Died in Paris, France.

Was candle maker before she began opera.

Died by being burnt alive at 41yrs old.

Died on 27 November 1853.

Was born on 28 November 1812 in Naples, Italy.

The Ballet Overlord

Died in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Was a ballet teacher before her legs got crushed.

Died by hanging at 36yrs old.

Died in January 1830.

Was born on 17 December 1794 in Veliky Novgorod, Russia.

The Puppet Overlord

Died in China.

Not much is known, but was possibly a serial killer or torturer.

Died by Lingchi or “Death by a Thousand Cuts”.

Died in the 1750s.

Was born in the 1700s in China.

Ideas/Concepts for Dusttale: Reanimated

As I stated in a previous post, I’m gonna be doing a my sort of own spin on Dusttale on the side.

I’m first gonna start in character profile & information in regards to the story, as well as building their character. While the main characters from Undertale are relevant to this story, it’s actually gonna focus more on the NPCs, plus my OC Vani.

I’m planning on doing a character info & status sheet (like something found in infection AUs) along with a picture of how they’ll look. I’ll be doing the same to the reanimated monsters, or as I’ve been calling them “the Revived”.

If anyone has any better name suggestions for the AU or for the classification of the characters.
