WOMEN! QUEENS! BEAUTIES!!!!

WOMEN! QUEENS! BEAUTIES!!!!

WOMEN! QUEENS! BEAUTIES!!!!
WOMEN! QUEENS! BEAUTIES!!!!

FINALLY! I came up with a vague concept of the women of Sparta, my favourite one is Clytemnestra, I kind of like how she turned out and how she is different from her cousin and sister, I wanted her to be Extravagant, different, more and less traditional at the same time, just like my Hera( I always say that Agamemnon and Clytemnestra are just the earthly equivalent of Zeus and Hera, change my mind)

Especially when in my mind each of them are associated with goddesses that started the whole war

Penelope-Athena

Helen-Aphrodite

Clytemnestra -Hera

WOMEN! QUEENS! BEAUTIES!!!!

bonus some fancy hairstyles for Hera that she will interchange because she can (and I can't decide)

Do you have any myths about Diomedes after he gets turned into a god?

What was Titan Odysseus's childhood like?

1. not yet

2. A childhood of a titan is a vague timeframe. Odysseus remembers the time where people weren't created yet. He remembers the time without worship and different meanings of pleasure. There was a time when he just like the other ancient generation didn't possess sentimentality over acts of love making.

It used to be something as simple as drinking water from the river when you are thirsty and eating fruits when you are hungry. Odysseus still remembers the names of titans, nymphs and satyrs that used to share with him pleasure. He isn't sure if he sires any children from that time since children made between titans or ancient gods like Nyx or Gaya were growing up so fast they barely needed parents and they quickly understood the meaning of domains that they embodied. After all he barely remembers Gaya or Eros (in Hesiod's Theogony Eros as spiritual embodiment of love was made by Khaos instead of being son of Aphrodite) ever nurturing him or teaching him about his domain. He WAS the peace. He was what calmed those in distress and what allowed others to enjoy a quiet existence of nature.

But then the people arrived. Those creatures made out of clay were fascinated to the titan who despite living for centuries was maybe in his teen years.

They lived for such a short time that they saw importance in the smallest of things. Odysseus loved seeing how people would put a lot of care in creating tasty food, building homes or nurturing their youth.

He then also witnessed the true meaning of marriage and family. People who lived for such a short time would find another half to share life with. They would do everything together and even refused to share the nights with anyone else just to prove their devotion.

While Odysseus never found interest in the idea of being worshipped by the people, ha absolutely fell in love with the marriages. Now he couldn't imagine having an affair with anyone that wasn't this special for him. And so he waited until he found himself someone so special he would like to share his life with.

Going back to that one au where Penelope is Scylla, how exactly did Ody's crew end up meeting Penelope? Also, how did Ody's family take the news that their son married a monster ?

Is Telemachus anything like his mom? How was he born?

Since he was a kid Ody loved traveling and adventures. He would sail to the furthest regions just to experience something exciting.

When he was 17 he sailed alone and ended up on an island without any city. There he met a beautiful lady near the shores. Ody offered her most of the meal he was making for himself which made her blush. They talked for some time and when Ody woke up in the morning he noticed a basket full of fish.

He stayed on the island for around a week and every day he met with Penelope. He asked her for the name of the island so he could find her again but she hesitated saying that he would not like to see a true side of her. He jokingly asked if she's a siren and she said that it would be easier if that was the case.

A month later Ody was sailing in hopes of finding her again. He didn't hesitate to risk his own health to do so.

What he didn't expect tho was meeting a bunch of pirates who wanted to capture the beautiful prince. It was then when a monster with six heads appeared and devoured the pirates.

Odysseus was shocked at first but then he recognised those beautiful violet eyes and without any hesitation he called her "Penelope?"

It turns out that it is her true form. The human one is usually used to lure people in (she still needs to have contact with seawater) but she fell for the mysterious prince who offered her food despite risking being hungry.

It was more than obvious that those two fell in love at the first sight and with that they arrived together in Ithaca where they got married. Odysseus built for her a palace that had streams of ocean water on the floor that allowed her to move comfortably.

Laertes and Anticlea were more than confused but seeing how happy their son is they couldn't do much about it.

Telemachus could be easily mistaken with ocean nymph due to the shape of his ears. He also has sharp teeth and lightly glowing eyes.

And how he was made...well...when two people like each other very very much...

I have this interesting idea Siren Odysseus mixed with Warrior Au Penelope. The catch— Penelope is an Amazonian. How do you think that would work?

I don't think that would change too much for Penelope. Amazons are daughters of Ares and trained warriors.

Siren Ody on the other hand sounds interesting. I'm not sure if you mean Siren Ody as a siren encountered in the song "suffering" or Penelope who married a siren.

If you mean the song then nothing really would change. They still need information so Penelope would have to play along to lure sirens in.

If Penelope married a siren that could create an interesting conflict where Penelope respects direct honourable battle while Ody in his nature has avoiding it and using trickery instead.

It could also create a conflict where people expect Penelope to help them hunt down sirens but she can't force herself to do it.

I bet pjo Ody wears t-shirts with something like "I love my wife" written on it. He likes to remind all the teens that are crushing on him, about the fact that he's happily married with a kid.

He would also be shockingly good at barbeque (it has nothing to do with his domain, it's just him having all the dad skills hahaha)

How many admirers does Odysseus have, and in the pjo universe, does that number increase or decrease?

For that eldritch epic universe, any headcanons about it? One of my own personal headcanons that due to the deities being so out of touch with mortals except for Hermes, they're oblivious to them being afraid of them which plays a big role due to how Poseidon flirts with a Odysseus.

He has a lot. He is a pretty boy. He and Apollo are shaking hands being certified pretty boys. But I could also see Odysseus being a DILF specifically.

For the eldritch au: 100% they're very out of touch with mortals and their fears. It takes a while for Odysseus to warm up to Poseidon because he thinks he is gonna eat him at first. And Poseidon is offering him some pretty huge courting gifts.

Like he gives Odysseus a horse

He also gives him a dog (argos my beloved)

Also making sure that Ithaca flourishes (their boats always return) they always find fish

Odysseus's parents are in some DEEP denial about what's happening

Athena and Hermes are the only two who have like an understanding but even then its still kind of limited

Oh my god wait. What if the blessings of the gods manifested physically? Like if a god takes an interest in you, EVERYONE is going to see it, for better or worse. And if you lose their favour? Everyone can see that, too

Jason with a peacock tail and feather-crest, both of which go faded and limp when he turns on Medea, so that they drag on the floor and get in the way

Pollux with eagle wings instead of arms, so Castor acts as his hands and that’s why they’re inseparable. When Castor dies and Pollux splits his immortality with him, they each get one arm and one wing, so one can’t fly without the other

Odysseus with a forked tongue and fangs—a subtle feature that he can hide when he needs to. When Athena feels like being helpful (like when she disguises him as a beggar) she’ll cast an illusion over it, but Penelope immediately recognises him by his lisp

When Athena gives Diomedes the blessing of seeing through the gods’ disguises, he also gets owl eyes and the ability to turn his head 180 degrees. This helps when Odysseus tries to stab him in the back on the Palladium heist

HERACLES WITH BULL HORNS. I have nothing to add I just think that sounds sick as hell

Helen grows beautiful golden feathers instead of hair. Nothing useful, just an obvious sign of her heritage that adds to her appeal to the suitors: whoever wins her hand gets to walk around with a physical symbol of Zeus’s favour

Atalanta with antlers that snap when she gets married, leaving jagged shards behind that won’t go blunt and can’t be sharpened down. She can have her husband, but he can’t touch her head without risking badly cutting himself. This can either be one final blessing or a curse depending on how consensual you interpret the marriage

Hector has pristine white raven wings, making him even more terrifying to the Achaeans, flying into battle like divine intervention, and a symbol of hope for the Trojans. Achilles plucks the feathers off his corpse, but they won’t stop growing back. Still, Achilles has a cloak made from them and wears it into battle, turning Troy’s symbol against them

Paris gets dove wings, but he tells everyone they’re too small to fly with because he’s a coward and doesn’t want to have the same responsibilities as Hector. Then he flies away from the duel with Menelaus in front of the entire army, and that’s when Troy finally loses what’s left of their respect for him

Let me present to you "Sing, O Muse, of Agony"

A retelling of the Illiad and Odyssey with two key differences being that Odysseus is a woman in this story and that she is/was in a relationship with Hector of Troy.

You'll have to see for yourself how things will turn out for them.

So how exactly do god pregnancies work? And how different is they're aging process compared to humans when they're born? For someone like Penelope who was human before then turned into a goddess I imagine this might be quite confusing for her.

It mostly depends on god and what form they have when "trying for the baby". That's why Helen was born from an egg.

If they take the shape of the person it means it will be a normal human pregnancy. (For example what happened to Hermes and Dionysus).

Things get complicated when it's between gods/titans/inhuman creatures. Then the pregnancy can be something as abstract as a child simply appearing as a representation of their love (for example Anteros) or a child might skip the entire pregnancy or process of baby making when it embodies some emotions or past grudges (Hephaestus, Athena, Erechtheus, Ovids' Pegasus). Sometimes it might even be something very abstract (Erechtheus once again), very simple or a little confusing.

Penelope should not be too worried. Ody isn't too freaky so the weirdest thing that might happen is Penelope laying an egg.

When the child is born it mostly depends on if it's going to inherit the godhood. It doesn't always happen, even with children of two gods. If the child inherits the godhood it will quicker grow from newborn to child (around twice as fast usually - Hermes is exemption , not a rule)

Gods that are born normally are usually just kids that grow up without anything too weird. Their strength isn't usually the problem since if their parents are gods it shouldn't bring them trouble.
