Although I will say that trying to be goth with Sam’s parents would’ve been extremely difficult.

Being goth in a Christian family as a Christian is…

Let’s just say it’s not easy.

There are rules my mom has set in place: Dad has to ok something before buying it(he’s old fashioned), no symbols apart from a cross(we actually agree on that one), can’t have too much skin showing(as in belly or thighs, I don’t like much of my legs exposed anyway), nothing too extravagant that’ll make people stare in public, nothing especially scary(what’s even the point then?!), and lastly no skulls(this is my least favorite of the rules)
