Zexal Month Week 5 Day 28: T is for Tag Duel

Two Duelists I would want to see team up for a Tag Duel. That is a tad tricky. There are a lot of good and very curious combinations. But if there was one that really got my hyperactive brain rolling it would be Astral and Shark. All the more reason why I WISH they would have done something after the ending of Zexal cause it always gave me ideas! Especially between Astral and Shark. You know after Shark admitted that he viewed both Yuma AND Astral as his best friends before his death which tore my heart. I would’ve loved to see how their dynamic would’ve been if they actually partnered up and if the stakes were saving Yuma oh that would've been intense cause those two would do anything for that boy! And with Astral's Deck being Xyz and Rank Up focus it would've given us chances and shots to see new Rank Up evolutions for either regular Xyz monsters or the other Numbers!! And if Astral were to Summon Number 71: Rebarian Shark, a counterpart to Number 17: Leviath Dragon, a call out of Shark being Number 17's first holder and for its counterpart to have the flipping Barian Emblem! Gosh darn it writers you had so much to work with and you squandered it! There could’ve been so many emotions to it and dang it I wished it could’ve happened!

Each Number is supposed to hold some sort of memory for Astral whether it be his own or the memories of the Barian Emperors when they were human. So what memory could this one had? Share your thoughts!

Zexal cannot for the life of them decide if they want Dumon to be Greek, English, French, or Norse. The folklore taxonimist part of my brain finds this inordinately funny.

They want SO bad for Nasch's empire to be some Mycenaean/Classical Era kingdom, but totally bungles it by having Dumon be there. This is also inordinately funny to me.

Squinting our eyes a little and giving the series a lot of creative license, Alito seems to be the oldest of the Barian emperors, then a huge gap of a couple centuries, and then the death order would logically go Mizar, then Marin, Vector, Nasch, Dumon, and finally, Girag.

Mizar, in his past life, carried around, and presumably knew how to use, a sword. I had completely forgotten about this.
