THEIR RELATIONSHIP IN THE MIRRORVERSE

If McCoy was bashful in the normal universe, I think in the Mirrorverse even more so. Not because of his personality, but because of what Spock represents. In the beginning of their relationship, Bones dares very little, occasionally patting him on the shoulder or back. When he feels more confident, maybe a hug, but not too tight. Spock is the one who keeps everything going, he accepts McCoy's touches, although he would like them to be more. He often caresses him in private, but there isn't much physical contact either, it's more like verbal affection. Their relationship takes longer to develop than in the normal universe because it isn't until later that they fully trust each other.

Once Bones discovers that it's serious, he's encouraged to give him little kisses, to sit beside him and snuggle into his arms in private. He realises that he really likes him and would like things to go faster, but he gives it time, doesn't want to spoil it, and is still afraid of upsetting Spock and making him leave the relationship. Spock sees an improvement in McCoy's attitude and becomes more affectionate verbally, not so much physically. It still gives him a bit of decorum to be around him, and as much as he wants to move on to "the next phase", he doesn't force anything.

Some time later discovering themselves, they start with gentle caresses on their arms and hair. That is what they need in their everyday life, something to alleviate the horror of their universe, something to forget about injustice and violence. It helps them a lot to get to know each other better, to find out what they like, to talk about the future, etcetera. For the first time, they feel happy and comfortable. McCoy sees that Spock is not a bully and Spock realises that Bones is not just a sentimentalist. In short, they trust each other well.

As their relationship prospers, they share more time together and dare to deepen in their emotions. However, their verbal language is more developed than physical contact. On one terrible day, when they are very tired of their society, they decide to sleep together. They discover that it's very comforting for them to cuddle, and then they start to attach more importance to physical contact than before. Of course, they hide it from everyone.

On the issue of who is the big spoon and the little spoon, in this case I think, without doubt, that Spock is the big spoon. This time it's not so evenly matched, because McCoy lets himself be handled a lot, and even though Spock is quite soft with him, McCoy likes it. There are times when Bones is dominant, but they're fewer.

Am I the only one who thinks the Mirrorverse soundtrack would be mostly power metal?

When I listen to metal while I'm thinking of some scenes to draw I think it would look amazing

Imagine that Mirror Spock listened to Jim of the normal universe and rebelled against the tyrant of his captain. Then imagine a scene where the two are fighting to the death, on the edge of a cliff, remembering all the things they've done together, while Ava of Death of Eleine is playing in the background

And as there are many types of metal, for every scene (sad, scary, happy, fighting...) there is a song that suits.

Or maybe I'm a bit obsessed with metal music...

Últimamente me apetece mucho dibujar, pero no tengo tiempo. Hoy he decidido tomarme un rato de relax practicando a dibujar en digital con el ordenador (no he usado tableta, he usado ratón y ese relax me ha desaparecido en seguida, en serio, cómo lo hace la gente para dibujar bien con ratón)

I started with Star Trek The Motion Picture in 2018-2019 and then I watched the rest of the films (TNG included) because I was disappointed by the new Star Wars films (I watched all Star Wars films and I got bored in the last ones, so I thought about watching Star Trek without anyone telling me. It was the best decision I've made 😆. I like Star Trek much more than Star Wars). Then I continued with TOS. I haven't finished all series yet

McCoy se da cuenta de que hay dos Spock en la nave, y uno de ellos es el del Imperio Terrano. Recuerda perfectamente el día en que fue transportado por error al otro universo, y también su experiencia con el otro Spock.

McCoy realises that there are two Spocks on the ship, and one of them is from the Terran Empire. He remembers vividly the day he was transported by mistake to the other universe, and also his experience with the other Spock.

Es misterioso, siniestro, impredecible. ¿Qué querrá hacerle? Sabe que no puede oponer resistencia, esperemos que la suerte esté de su lado.

He is mysterious, sinister, unpredictable. What will he want to do to him? He knows he can't resist, so let's hope luck is on his side.

Part 1

THEIR RELATIONSHIP IN THE NORMAL UNIVERSE

I think McCoy is embarrassed to show his affection at first. He doesn't know if Spock will take a hug, a touch or a kiss. He knows that Spock has been raised as a Vulcan and not as a human, and he's not sure if he'll like that sort of thing. He's also a little embarrassed to question, and asks permission every time he wants to hug him or do any of those things. He knows about romantic relationships, since he had been in several ones, that is to say, he has the experience, but he doesn't know how to use it with Spock.

The Vulcan knows that Bones must be given his private space, and he verifies it when he sees that even when they are together, the doctor does nothing. And although Spock would like to casual touch him more often, he stops doing so, which makes McCoy insecure.

Once they have been together for a while, they decide to talk about it and discover that they both want to show their affection, but thought the other didn't want to. Little by little they start to hold each other in their arms, caress each other's shoulders, hair, face... all this in private. And they trust each other more to talk about all their insecurities in the relationship.

As their love grows, McCoy becomes more affectionate, he treats Spock especially well and Spock appreciates it. They dare to do more things, like sleeping at night together. But they don't tell anyone, they are both introverted people and don't feel comfortable showing it to more people. McCoy, when he's in need of affection, lets Spock hold him, play with his hair, all with gentleness. And when it's the other way around, Bones floods the Vulcan with kisses.

Who is the big spoon? I think they take turns, but I wouldn't know who is more dominant. There would be several reasons to think it's Spock (in many fics it's him), but I think it would be pretty evenly matched. On the one hand, I think it's McCoy because he has the most experience, but on the other hand, I imagine him asking Spock to be the dominant, so that's why I say there's a balance. Maybe, after a while, there will be one of the two who is a bit more dominant, and then I think it could be Spock.

Patients' rights and waiting lists

Long waiting lists lead to the chronification of illnesses and even deaths due to the failure to provide the required medical service in time.

Prevention

We usually think of healthcare as acting exclusively in the face of an already acquired disease, but these rankings also take into account prevention programmes and all the actions carried out to prevent transmition of illnesses in the population.

Access to free healthcare

Even if the medical service provided is excellent, if there is no service that reaches the majority of the population, one cannot speak of quality medical services.

Eficiency

Spain is a monarchical, democratic country, in which the king has no power, he only represents the country on trips abroad when the president cannot go.

So, WE ARE NOT RULED BY KINGS. We are a monarchic country but the crown doesn't have any power. Just because my country has a monarchy doesn't mean it's like the monarchies of 10 centuries ago.

Spain was very influenced by medieval times, that's reflected in the old buildings, but that doesn't mean that we're proud of everything that our country did in that era. If you don't believe it, study some Spanish history.

Last of all, something I don't like is that Spain is only associated with Sevillanas, paella and bullfighting. You are totally wrong. It's something that is part of our culture, but not in all regions. In fact, in my region they don't dance sevillanas and there are hardly any bullfights anymore. About bullfighting, there is a lot of controversy: many Spaniards are in favour and many others are against. I would appreciate it if you would stop adding bullfighting to any post that talks about Spain, if you don't mind.

He mejorado algo del mundo de Minecraft en el poco tiempo libre que he tenido estos días. He hecho el techo del pasillo (junto con algo de decoración) y he investigado sobre bloques de comandos.

I've improved some of the Minecraft world in the little free time I've had these days. I've made the ceiling of the corridor (along with some decoration) and I've done some research on command blocks.

Esto es solo la punta del iceberg. Esta es la primera planta de 6. En cada planta estoy haciendo unas salas del Enterprise de TOS. En esta primera planta es solo la sala del transportador.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. This is the first floor (of 6). On each floor I'm doing some of the Enterprise rooms from TOS. This first floor is just the transporter room.

He tenido que hacer un mapa de las plantas para tener claro dónde está cada sala. Más tarde subiré esos mapas (y por fin las siguientes páginas del cómic)

Mi impresora es daltónica 😭😭, no distingue los tonos de azul que hay en el dibujo...

My printer is colorblind 😭😭, it can't distinguish the shades of blue that are on the drawing...

Obviamente, no es lo mismo color luz (en lo que de basa el dibujo digital) que el color pigmento (en papel). Sé que hay muchos programas que tienen implementado el color pigmento en su programa para imprimir los dibujos, pero en el programa que uso en el móvil no tiene. No sé si es por eso que no capta los colores o directamente es la impresora 😆

Obviously, light colour (on which digital drawing is based) is not the same as pigment colour (on paper). I know that there are many programs that have in their system implemented the pigment colour to print the drawings, but the program I use on my mobile doesn't. I don't know if that's why it doesn't capture the colours or if it's only my printer 😆.

Tengo algunas capturas de pantalla sobre cosas que he hecho en el mundo de Minecraft dedicado a Star Trek: TOS. He hecho una estructura pequeña del Enterprise en el cielo (donde supuestamente están las salas que estoy construyendo. Digo supuestamente porque no están ahí). Esa estructura está muy mal hecha (las proporciones no están bien), pero desde abajo se ve una sombra que me gusta mucho (como al jugar no voy a subir hasta ahí arriba, no me he esmerado mucho, ya que yo solo quería que se viera la forma de lejos. Aún así, creo que lo cambiaré un poco para que no se vea ese bulto que tiene xd). En el minimapa también me gusta cómo queda (el minimapa es del mod "Journey map")

I have some screenshots of things I've done in the Minecraft world dedicated to Star Trek: TOS. I've made a small Enterprise structure in the sky (where supposedly the rooms I'm building are. I say supposedly because they are not there). That structure is very badly built (the proportions are not right), but from below you can see a shadow that I like a lot (as I'm not going to go up there, I didn't struggle a lot, since I only wanted the shape to be seen from far away. Even so, I think I'll change it a bit so you can't see that bulge xd). In the minimap I also like how it looks (the minimap is from the "Journey map" mod, it can be seen on top right)

Luego estuve creando unos objetos con el "Chisels and bits". El tricorde, el fáser y el comunicador. Y con el mod de "Ordinary coins" añadí unas monedas para hacer una economía (bronce, plata, oro y platino). Personalicé las monedas para que tuvieran el logo de la Federación e hice una versión para el Imperio Terrano.

Then, I created some objects with the "Chisels and bits". The tricorder, the phaser and the communicator. And with the "Ordinary coins" mod I added some coins to make an economy (bronze, silver, gold and platinum). I customized the coins to have the Federation logo and made a version for the Terran Empire.

Hoy estaba ordenando los dibujos cuando encontré una carpeta con dibujos, algunos de hace varios años (unos 5 o 6, cuando yo tenía 13 😆), y pensé que sería buena idea crearme otro tumblr dedicado a fanarts random.

Today I was organising my drawings when I found a folder with other drawings, most of them from several years ago (about 5 or 6, when I was 13 😆), and I thought it would be a good idea to create another tumblr dedicated to random fanart.

Voy a empezar subiendo, con una frecuencia de un post a la semana, algunos de esos dibujos antiguos (los que estén decentes) y quizás continúe con dibujos que haga ahora. En ese Tumblr no subiré Star Trek porque ya lo subo en este.

Quiero saber si es una historia que a la gente le puede gustar. El género es fantasía, aventura y acción. Es como una mezcla entre futuro y Edad Media).

BRIEFLY DESCRIBING THEIR PERSONALITIES

What are they like in love? This is a general question that I like to ask myself a lot. This includes more specific ones: How do they show their love for each other? Who is more affectionate? What do they like to do? Who is the big spoon and the little spoon? ...

Well, I think I have to differentiate between the normal universe and the Mirrorverse. Spock and McCoy are the characters who most resemble themselves in those universes (in personality), but obviously there are differences, and I think those differences are reflected in their relationship.

Normal Spock is logical, calm, thoughtful, thinks long and hard before he acts, and chooses not to use violence. Mirror Spock is forced to use violence (even if he doesn't really like it), is prepared to manipulate to get what he needs, is also thoughtful, but a little less calm (I think), and is still logical.

McCoy, in my opinion, is the most similar in both universes. The normal McCoy is sentimental, somewhat sensitive (even if he doesn't want to show it), cares a lot about others (especially if they are his friends) and would sacrifice himself for them, likes to tease Spock, isn't violent at all (if the situation requires it, he prefers verbal harm) and is brave at times. And the most important trait: he knows how to bring out Spock's emotions. Mirror McCoy is pretty much the same, only he tends to threaten. People are afraid of him because of threats, but they never come true, and if they come true, not by his hand. Spock or Jim are the ones who incite him to torture or hit someone, he almost never decides it on his own. Perhaps he's more fearful than his counterpart, because that universe is terrible (violence everywhere, death if you don't have allies, betrayal...), and he's not so daring with Spock (the Vulcan imposes him quite a lot).

He estado construyendo en el Minecraft algunas salas del Enterprise. La primera es la sala del transportador. También he hecho algo de pasillo.

I've been building some of the Enterprise rooms in Minecraft. The first one is the transporter room. I've also made some of the corridor.

En este mundo de Minecraft tengo varios mods, entre ellos el Chisels and bits. Es un mod que permite modificar los bloques del Minecraft bit a bit. Los bloques son cubos de 16x16x16 bits cada uno. También permite usar bits individuales para crear bloques nuevos (los cubos esos pequeños que tengo en el inventario son bits, y los he usado para hacer esto).

In this Minecraft world I have several mods, among them the Chisels and bits. It is a mod that allows you to modify the Minecraft blocks bit by bit. The blocks are cubes of 16x16x16 bits each. It also allows you to use individual bits to create new blocks (the little cubes I have in my inventory are bits, and I've used them to do this).

Todo lo que no es bloque, lo he hecho yo, por ejemplo las líneas grises del pasillo, el arco del pasillo, las luces del transportador, las plataformas del transportador, las líneas negras con trozos blancos del transportador, el panel de control, e incluso la pared de la sala.

I have made everything that is not a block by myself, for example the grey lines in the corridor, the archway in the corridor, the lights in the transporter, the platforms in the transporter, the black lines with white pieces in the transporter, the control panel, and even the wall of the room.

La siguiente sala que haga seguramente sea la sala de motores.

The next room I will probably do is the engine room.

Parece que cada vez todo se complica más. Jones y Francis eran alumnos de McCoy y destrozaron una muestra suya, y Jones muere asesinado pero con su sistema nervioso destrozado por bacterias de laboratorio. ¿Qué relación tendrán unas cosas con otras?

This seems to be getting more and more complicated. Jones and Francis were McCoy's students and destroyed a sample of his, and Jones died murdered but with his nervous system destroyed by lab bacteria. How do these things relate to each other?
