ALL I GOTTA SAY IS....

DONT TELL ME APRIL DOESNT LOVE DONNIE JUST AS MUCH AS DONNIE LOVES HER,  THAT GIRL CRIED OVER HIM AND DESTROYED HER DEMONS FOR HIM THEN BROUGHT HIM BACK TO LIFE. 

ALSO CASEY REALLY SHOWED THAT HE DEEPLY CARES ABOUT HER, BUT HE ALSO CARES A LOT ABOUT DONATELLO. 

Just thought that needed to be cleared.

I watched the episode for the third time today, and all I need to say is, wow, that was beautiful. Right now, I need fanart, I need fanfics, and lots of AMVs. 

@peterdicicco You did such a great job, especially with Casey, he was such a good supporter, and gave the right emotions at the most needed moments.

Was it just me, or did anyone else heard voice change of Donnie in the beginning, like it still sounded like Rob, but just his voice kept getting deeper in certain moments of the episode, it kept throwing me off lol.

Like everyone else, I loved it when Raph mentioned Donnie, it was a powerful moment, and the flashbacks of my purple masked turtle was….well the feels were there.

I was actually very surprised they killed Donnie, and yes, they killed him, she tore him into bits, idc what anyone says, in my eyes she killed him, but with just her powers she was able to bring him back. 

Speaking of that moment, the way April ran to Donnie…They just need to kiss already dammit. Haha, sorry Apriltello feels are still in me xD But that two was a powerful moment, it really showed how much she loves Donnie. And yes, I very much believes she loves him more than a friend, and no this isnt just me saying this cause im a shipper, but just the way she threw herself into his arms and cried over his demise, I dunno maybe its just wishful thinking, but i really believe she loves him, she just doesnt really realize that yet. They are like freakin Ron Stoppable and Kim Possible okay. xD

What else can i mention that I already havent?

The animation was beautiful. The colors, the way it just moved so naturally. Especially the way they did April’s hair. Usually some shows would half ass that kinda thing but nope, they really made it to where it was actual hair.

WE SHOULD MAKE A PETITION TO HAVE APRILS HAIR LIKE THAT FOR THE REST OF THE SHOW! JUST SAYING LOL.

The voice actors were excellent! Mostly Mae’s she made it to where I could just feel April’s agony and suffering, along with Rob who did excellent with Donnie as he usually does!

Now Ive been seeing more negativity about this episode, and thats fine, if you dont like the episode, its prefectly okay, but please understand that this episode wasnt going to be, darker or written out like a one hour drama would be, why? well for one, its limited time, for two yes its a kids cartoon, and the way they killed Donnie these guys are already pushing the boundaries, so this episode wont be perfect, and itll have its negatives, but lets try to focus on the positives, and just feel the emotional stuff that this episode implies. 

And again it is perfectly okay if you do not like this episode. That is your choice, this was just my little in put for it.

Also I should touch on this since many are mad at Raph for suggesting to put April down, we all know Raph, he just saw his little brother get blown up into dust particles, so of course his head wouldnt be right to judge, they all werent, except for Mikey, but if you really look at him, he was in a heated spot too before he realized who he throwing his anger, sorrow at, so remember all of these guys just watched a family member die, the other member is getting possessed like the freakin exorcist so of course they wouldnt think to quickly. Just another input of mine.

I really hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did! It was a great way to celebrate the 100th episode.

Second part BOOKS, I have collected some books that have helped me and might help others.

📚Here is my list:

The "how to draw manga" series produced by Graphic-sha. These are for manga artist but they give great advice and information.

"Creating characters with personality" by Tom Bancroft. A great book that can help not just people who draw cartoons but also realistic ones. As it helps you with facial ques and how to make a character interesting.

"Albinus on anatomy" by Robert Beverly Hale and Terence Coyle. Great book to help someone learn basic anatomy.

"Artistic Anatomy" by Dr. Paul Richer and Robert Beverly Hale. A good book if you want to go further in-depth with anatomy.

"Directing the story" by Francis Glebas. A good book if you want to Story board or make comics.

"Animal Anatomy for Artists" by Eliot Goldfinger. A good book for if you want to draw animals or creatures.

"Constructive Anatomy: with almost 500 illustrations" by George B. Bridgman. A great book to help you block out shadows in your figures and see them in a more 3 diamantine way.

"Dynamic Anatomy: Revised and expand" by Burne Hogarth. A book that shows how to block out shapes and easily understand what you are looking out. When it comes to human subjects.

"An Atlas of animal anatomy for artist" by W. Ellenberger and H. Dittrich and H. Baum. This is another good one for people who want to draw animals or creatures.

Etherington Brothers, they make books and have a free blog with art tips.

📝As for Supplies, I recommend starting out cheap, buying Pencils and art paper at dollar tree or 5 below. If you want to go fancy Michaels is always a good place for traditional supplies. They also get in some good sales and discounts. For digital art, I recommend not starting with a screen art drawing tablet as they are usually more expensive.

For the Best art Tablet I recommend either Xp-pen, Bamboo or Huion. Some can range from about 40$ to the thousands.

💻As for art programs here is a list of Free to pay.

Clip Studio paint ( you can choose to pay once or sub and get updates. Galaxy, Windows, macOS, iPad, iPhone, Android, or Chromebook device. )

Procreate ( pay once for $9.99 usd, IPAD & IPHONE ONLY)

Blender (for 3D modules/sculpting, animation and more. Free)

PaintTool SAI (pay but has a 31 day free trail)

Krita (Free)

mypaint (free)

FireAlpaca (free)

Aseprite ($19.99 usd but has a free trail, for pixel art Windows & macOS)

Drawpile (free and for if you want to draw with others)

IbisPaint (free, phone app ONLY)

Medibang (free, IPAD, Android and PC)

NOTE: Some of these can work on almost any computer like Clip and Sai but others will require a bit stronger computer like Blender. Please check their sites for if your computer is compatible.

So do with this information as you will but as you can tell there are ways to learn how to become an artist, without breaking the bank. The only thing that might be stopping YOU from using any of these things, is YOU.

I have made time to learn to draw and many artist have too. Either in-between working two jobs or taking care of your family and a job or regular school and chores. YOU just have to take the time or use some time management, it really doesn't take long to practice for like an hour or less. YOU also don't have to do it every day, just once or three times a week is fine.

Teenage Mutant Turtle Tongues

So we’ve all seen Raph’s tongue (and fantasized about it) by now, but so far I haven’t seen an HC of all of their tongues.

See a need, fill a need, amirite? ;)

Note: I imagine that the boys’ turtle genes gave them exceptional size tongue-wise, but to an extent this is proportional to a human’s. The guys are just much bigger and more filled out than humans in general, so while this list is impressive, proportionately they aren’t that much more gifted than the most equally-gifted humans.

LEONARDO:

Not too long, not too thick, but still puts human range to shame with a good 3.5″. Leo’s tongue isn’t very versatile; when he extends it, it comes to a point and severely limits his ability to – ahem – perform tricks with it. When close, however, he can twist and curl his tongue quite well. Thus, he much prefers to keep his tongue in close, where he can tease and delight with it. ;)

RAPHAEL:

He can extend his tongue a solid 4″ past his teeth, and it gets notably shapely when he does so. It’s strong, thick, and he can curl it with incredible dexterity, though he can’t twist or flip it. His main limitation is in width; he can’t really make his tongue any wider or thinner, just longer. It’s pretty much stuck in that way – not that I imagine anyone would mind. ;D

DONATELLO:

Honestly, Donnie’s range and versatility are both kind of pitiful. Despite his overall size he just can’t extend it much or do much with it, falling just shy of 3″ when fully extended and unable to change its shape. Luckily his turtle genes still offer a very generous size, so he can still do more with it than your average human. :3

MICHELANGELO:

The killer – Mikey was gifted with an incredible tongue. Not only can he extend it to over 4.5″, but its versatility is unmatched. Anything you’ve ever seen or even heard of someone’s tongue doing, Mikey can do it, too. He can twist it, shape it, curl it, even loop it; he has both the size and dexterity to securely wrap his tongue around other things – for example, another person’s tongue…. ;3

Do you think canon Apritello was toxic in any way? Whether it was in April’s side or Donnies?

Short answer: Nope.
