The Spooky Stream Last Night Was Fun

I think that, despite recent events and the fact that Kayne has greater power than the King in Yellow, Arthur would still consider the King more terrifying. The King was the first eldritch being to torture him, and while Kayne has done a shitload of stuff to Arthur, the King has tortured Arthur for years.

But I think Kayne would be incredibly jealous and infuriated if he found out Arthur was more traumatized by the King in Yellow than by him.

Kayne: What...what do you mean? I...I mutilated you! I made John lie to you! I manipulated you into killing Matthew! All the horrors you faced in the past are my fault! I...and...those mean nothing to you!?!

Arthur: Not nothing! Of course not nothing! Kayne, I swear to you that at least 30% of my most traumatic moments are due to you-

Kayne: Only 30%!?!

Arthur: M-maybe 35? Look, the Dreamlands were rough, and they happened at a time where I was new to all of this. Naturally, they made a strong impression on me. When I met you, I had already been through the wringer, so-

Kayne: (muttering to himself) Damn it, Hastur, I knew I should have killed you!

I see way too many posts about being really affectionate with your friends and if you aren't hugging and kissing your friends then you don't really have friends and you should be in love with your friends a little bit and it annoys me so here's a post that shouts out non-affectionate friends. shoutout to the people who don't like affection or hugging or being super gushy with each other but still love and appreciate their friends dearly. shoutout to the people who find it really hard to be emotionally vulnerable and sweet but are still always there for you in a crisis. shoutout to people who don't have to be hugging you constantly to prove that they care about you

Just occurred to me that Kayne would probably be the one saying that, he’s watching his life like a movie, but for a second time and he knows what is gonna happen

Malevolent AU where everytime there’s foreshadowing there’s a whispering voice, that only Arthur can hear that just says “well, about that” or “foreshadowing be like” and every time Arthur just stares at The Invisible Camera like

*insert visibly scared and concerned expression*

listen having a favourite character is just embarrassing sometimes. yeah that’s my specialest little blorbo. yeah I’ve read every word of their stuff. yeah I think about them 24/7. yeah I project all my issues onto them and write fanfiction about them and have multiple playlists dedicated to them. And I’m here on your dash to once again tell you that I am still thinking about them bc I thought you needed to know that. you can just shoot me now.

If John and Arthur ever separated, I don't think they would ever be able to live without each other. The amount of codependency in their relationship is too much any human or now human to bear.

I see two possible outcomes, either way, one of them cracks and acts up on their desire to become whole again.

1: If John loses his mind first.

When he gets his new body and has already learned coordinating it, (it would take so much time and physical and emotional effort to do so, but that's another story) he would feel too alone even lost. His entire existence as we know now was with Arthur, at least in the human world. He was so afraid to go back to the dark world, he couldn't bear to be alone again. He couldn't hear Arthur's thoughts, nor could Arthur need his assistance anymore. He would be completely on his own. This is enough in itself to go mental, but what if he would feel so alone that he would see the only option to became happy as going back. But there is no going back. He would find a way: cutting open his soulmate's body and getting into him. Once again they'll be whole, and he would be inside him as he should.

2: Arthur looses is first.

When John gets a body, Arthur has to learn to be on his own again, either blind or with eyesight he would lose his guide. Even if he can see again, the world is not the same as John described it, it's different and less colorful.  If he can see again, he will see how much damage their adventure done to his body. He is half the man he was before, and no one ever in the whole world could see him and know what he feels other than John. His emotional support is gone, but that was the only thing that got his self-esteem going. He tried, or was on the edge of killing himself before, but now he is too close. He can't even bear to see John, with his new body; no scars, no damage. Not only that, but he had to go through so much, and only he stayed the same? He needs John back, but with a body he needs to put it back someway.

He eats him. Every little piece of him. The hair, the bones. Nothing can leave from him, so they can go back to normal, no John's body, he is John's body, and he is inside of him again.

Intro Post!

Hi, I'm Arthur Lester's Music Stand, jumping from the Kayne Train onto the tracks at dangerously high speeds!

This is my side blog, focused mostly on the audio drama, Malevolent, but may feature some other fandoms, too. Again, mostly audio dramas, such as The Magnus Archives/Protocol, Wolf 359, Sherlock & Co., The Silt Verses, and hopefully more soon!

For some further context, I am making this blog hot and fresh off the heels of Malevolent episode 52, "The Wager", a.k.a. the "grand finale" of season 5! I have found audio drama fandom blogs to be some of my favorite to interact with, and finally felt inspired to stop being a lurker and become an active member of the community. (For the record, no shade to fandoms of movies, tv shows, or books, but I think the inherently limiting and unique nature of audio dramas pushes for more creativity and need for audience engagement than the others. Just my two cents on the topic!).

Why am I Arthur Lester's music stand? Well, you may already be familiar with "limb posters" if you're in the fandom, which are folks who take on the names of our dear protagonist's, Arthur Lester, body parts, sometimes for roleplay purposes, mostly just to be silly. Spoilers for episode 52, but that spawned a new genre of Malevolent blogs, which are themed after different instruments the multiverse of Lesters might play in Kayne's orchestra.

I thought, wouldn't this be funny? I don't make art or fanfiction (yet), I'm not huge into making my own original posts, and I don't usually have much to add to anyone else's (though, I am trying to be more sociable!). However, I am great at reblogging! What a more fitting theme, to be someone who showcases some of the best work this fandom has to offer, as the very man's music stand?

So long story short, that's my deal, and that's what I'm doing here.

I believe I have asks open, so feel free to drop me a message, if you please! I have no real goal, other than to have fun with one of my favorite stories and fandoms ever, so if you'd like to further that goal in any way, I'm open for business! I'm also not opposed to attempting roleplay, either taking up certain characters or somehow being the music stand, although I'm not entirely sure how that would work lol.
