When two people get married they not only get married to each other but also become a very important part of each other's families. Thus the way Lucy recognises Tim's childhood trauma and comes to his aid by helping him coach his nephew's little league. As well as Tim agreeing to look after Tamara in Lucy's absence are so married couple moves. These are also forms of 'act of service' which is a very Chenford love language.😍🥹
Yesterday was Mel's birthday and it's so heartwarming to see all the cute wishes she received from all her previous and current The Rookie mates!🥹❤️
The Rookie Instagram page has uploaded this new promo with all the major season 5 clips. They have also added Melissa and some noteworthy Chenford moments in it.😍🫶
The Rookie thirst trapping us on a Monday!!!
They are "IT" for each other.🥹
I love how breaking up was immediately 100% off the table.
OMG!!! Tim's first valentine's day present to Lucy is a little golden heart.❣️
He can top this gift only by giving her a proposal ring on her birthday.😍
Yes, I will keep on pushing the Chenford proposal agenda till it becomes canon. 😇
Ain't no one here to have fun. It's a job. That's what everyone keeps saying. Except so far, it's just been the world's lamest bachelor party.
| ANATOMY OF A SCENE - CHENFORD EDITION 5.01 - Double Down
What. A. Scene… And to think that it was merely the beginning! Their body language here is completely insane. The way Lucy just comes to sit on Tim's armchair, his arm draping around her right away so his hand can lay on her thigh… The casual way they play with each other's hands, almost caressing, intertwining their fingers… It's so natural, almost instinctual. There's no hesitation whatsoever, no sign of awkwardness. They're simply at ease. And in some ways, it's even bigger than the kiss. It's extremely intimate. It just shows how comfortable they are with each other… and for two people who are not even that affectionate with their respective partners, it says a lot. They are so tactile with one another, using their persona as an excuse to be this touchy. Only that wasn't really for their cover… It was for them. That's the irony of this : all this display was absolutely unnecessary. If anything, it actually pissed off the bad guys - although those guys should count their blessings coz they wouldn't have survived the real Sava and Jake… These two took their usual shorthand and built up from there, playing off each other perfectly, adding all these physical touches, as if it were a regular occurrence… Part of it was to ground each other… But mostly it was because they wanted to. And the fact that they didn't even have to rehearse or practice this part makes it so much more genuine and real!
This is so me after episode 5X12. My Chenford heart just melted a little after the last episode and I can't think straight. I am happy crying.😭🥰
