I hear everyone always say that shipping two kids is weird. Kid love and adult love are very different and the only people that make it a problem are the ones putting sex in homosexual and doing so with little kids. If, as writers, it is bad to ship two little kids together or portray them in any (appropriate) relationship, what about film writers? What about characters in kids tv that have crushes on other kids? What about the movies that show two children in a relationship? It’s only a problem when adult relationships are forced onto children. Aging up is a different controversy, but a lot of people do it especially for LotF because THEY TOO dont want to write about adult love in a child context. Shipping is only bad when adult standards and actions are put on minors when they are not mature (physically AND mentally) enough for that.

When people say that Jalph is sexualizing children I loose so many braincells. Its never on the posts taht are actually the problem eaither. I've gotten so many comments on tik tok saying "they're 12" but then ignore the fact that there are so many diffrent medias that have children that age or younger who are eaither in relationships or have crushes. It's so dumb and I hate that people only associate queerness as being sexual.
