The spider manipulates Peter's emotions when Peter doesn't follow his desires. This leaves Peter constantly struggling between his ingrained morals (thanks, uncle ben, and aunt may!) and his loyalty to the spider who gave him the power to help others.

Almost a symbiote kind of situation but with less mind/body control and more gaslighting. Haha.

I feel like this has the potential to go all kinds of ways. Especially if Tony, MJ, Ned, or even Hydra somehow gets involved.

You know how it’s a widely accepted fact in Irondad fanon that Tony is perpetually worried about Peter’s inability to thermoregulate?

I was walking with like ten layers on today (I live in eastern Canada in late December) and I could only picture Tony REFUSING to let Peter leave the tower without bundling him up in a sweater, jacket, gloves, a hat, winter boots, fucking SNOW-PANTS!!!
