((On that note this means that this blog is officially open for asks regarding the events of Kirby and the Forgotten Land! Technically it was supposed to be open for at least the main story a while ago but I uh. Kinda forgot to say anything about it dhdhsh

If you're still trying to avoid spoilers for Forgotten Land, don't worry! One, it'll probably still be a good few months before I actually get to any new asks anyway since I'm still working through my backlog lmao. Kirby: I like all colours! Especially bright ones!

Dedede: I like reds and oranges. That’s why a lot of my castle’s got those colours.

Meta Knight: Dark colours are useful when you don’t want to be seen.

Bandana Dee: Um… I like blue. L-like my bandana.

Magolor: Yeah, I’m with Bandee. Blue’s pretty cool. The Lor’s got a lot of blue.

Marx: My favourite colour? Uh… I guess the red and blue of my hat’s pretty nice?

Heya fellow Marx! Have you ever tried munching on your shoes? Y'know, because they look like bread. *Snort* -From your good pal, Marx.

Magolor: I do miss my home sometimes, but Popstar is great and a lot better than Halcandra, honestly.

With Elfilin's warping abilities making it easy to travel between Planet Popstar and the New World, it was a fairly common sight to see people from both lands visiting the other one. Such was the case for Kirby, currently! It was a perfect, calm day back home in Dream Land, and while he usually liked to spend those days peacefully napping and snacking with his best friends, he decided instead to pay a visit to the New World. It had been a while since he'd been there, after all! Especially to the people in the New World, probably!!

Nowadays, Waddle Dee Town actually didn't have very many Waddle Dees living in it, with most of them having followed King Dedede back to Popstar once he decided to go home. A couple of them still remained, though (they had just gotten really attached to the place, Kirby supposed!), and the town was still quite lively overall, since members of the Beast Pack now often stopped by to say hello! Some of them even lived there now!!

Kirby wandered through the town, greeting everyone he passed, all the while trying to figure out what exactly he wanted to do. Elfilin had gone off to talk with Carol, and his other friends were still at home, so he was all alone for a little bit. He still had some star coins with him, so maybe he could spend a couple at the Gotcha Machines? He still had a few figures missing from his collection, after all! Oh! But he had to make sure to save enough money to buy lunch from the café later! Oooooooh, a Maxim Tomato and two Car-Mouth Cakes for dessert sounded really good right now, actually! Wait but no, he had to wait for Elfilin to come back so they could eat together! He promised!!!

Before he could come to any sort of decision, someone else caught his eye. Over by the town square, there was an Awoofy who seemed to be tending to the flowers there. He hadn't said "hi" to that person yet!!

Kirby dashed over to her, waving excitedly once she turned around. “Hello!!!”

The small puffball listened quietly to the Awoofy's words, and cheerfully nodded at the end, seemingly oblivious to the other's change in body language. He was always happy to help a new friend! “Okay!! What do you wanna know?” He didn't know if he'd be able to answer, but he'd definitely try his best!

Then, the first part of the Awoofy's words perhaps only catching up to him now, Kirby added, “Oh! Were you the one that planted all the flowers in this world? I liked them a lot!!” The Pop Flowers always had something useful for him, even if only a single coin. And, sorta close to Waddle Dee Town, he recalled five red tulips that had led him to a Waddle Dee who had been in hiding after managing to escape the Beast Pack. So those flowers had been especially helpful back then! “It must've been a lot of work to plant all those flowers everywhere!”
