What a suitable prompt for my 16th birthday!

I was sitting in a car on a roadtrip, procrastinating studying, and I had this highlighter from somewhere in my bag and some grey markers I bought earlier.

The only problem was that I was inking, in a car... at night, with a really bad car light. Luckily I had done the sketch at day time. You can’t imagine how aesthetic but unsettling it was seeing the pitch black forest outside the window though

I tried to take a photo but this is the best I got

The back contains a poem I wrote about aromanticism as someone who’s questioning but also desperately wants to experience that fairytale love stories

Are we getting a Cartman depression arc or what? He’s been so defeated the whole season. Even in the episode when he was an ass it was because he felt lonely. And in the last ep (Credigree Weed St. Patrick’s day special) he seemed bored even when they schemed? Guess he’ll be joining Stan on the bad mental health at 10 YEARS OF AGE ride

I just realised ALL of Cartman’s love interests were people (with qualities) he hates.

First off Wendy, who he clearly hates for several reasons ex. She stands up for herself and has strong opposing opinions (like Kyle...)

Then Heidi, who’s a bit of a hippy. Looking at her clothing style and the fact that she’s a vegan.

Finally Yentl who’s... well Jewish.

It’s clear that he loves his friends, even though they all have qualities he hates/teases them for. Poor, Hippy, Ginger Jew from Jersey. He’s shown to love the Jewish religion even though he’s antisemetic most of the time

That being said, maybe this 10 year old kid has a hard time distinguishing love and hate/is scared of his feelings.

Now, who does Eric Cartman despise most of all...? :)

Here’s a silly little metaphor for my aroace experience, as someone who grew up with romcoms and shipping and “romanticised” romance. Because I can’t express my emotions in a non-jokey way.

CW: kind of a vent so it’s a bit depressing

It’s like someone who really wants to eat meat, has to be vegan. Not by choice, but because they physically can’t eat meat. Let’s say they’re allergic or something.

Sure, there’s vegan substitutes for meat and milk etc, like facon (fake bacon) and vegan cheese. And sometimes, it tastes good, maybe even better than the real deal.

But they’ve heard of how great meat tastes, and to such details that they can imagine the exact sensation. Though they’ve never had a bite, they’ve always thought that one day, they’d be able to eat all the meat in the world.

Recently, it dawned on them that they can never take a bite. And they’re fine with that, they have to be. Eventually, they move on with their life. They try to avoid thinking of meat as much.

They see people eating meat, everywhere. And it’s much more noticeable, now that you know you’ll never be able to taste it. And you get more curious, and jealous. You want to ignore it, but people eating meat is all around you, it can’t be ignored.

And the way people describe the taste is so glorious that you can’t help but feel happy seeing other people enjoy their meat. You feel happy thinking about the unattainable. But at the end of the day, that only makes you feel more miserable and empty inside
