i love the stereotype of punk just being purely scary and insane. like ya theres definitely some odd balls here (love u guys) (most of u) but im literally making myself a belt bag from an old pair of jeans!!!!! im over here doing arts and crafts for the sake of the environment.
fuck capitalism i wanna sew a bag. that i can attach to my belt. with loops. a belt bag. for my little things. fuck you!!!!! ill go listen to my political loud music too!!!!!!!
i could go on and on about how much i love wikipedia but ill summarise it real quick.
wikipedia is the ultimate community resource, like genuinely. it relies solely on its community to function, both in terms of information and the website actually being able to run.
i will never forgive teachers for making it seem like a hellscape of misinfo because holy shit they are genuinely so strict on what information can be let onto its pages, i love wikipedia.
me x wikipedia canon
was in class a few months ago and the topic of queerness and gender came up, like people usually do they started making jokes about labels.
"haha guys whats a FTM?? im a FTM HAHDHAHWHWJ"
me, ftm, already desperately attempting to not be singled out and now having to hold back from infodumping about every lgbtqia label because i hyperfixated on it when i was 10
to all the intersex kids out there: you are not alone. you are not broken. the world is probably going to be hard for you but so many of us out there are fighting to make it better than it was for us. you are loved. please survive.
slapping this badge on my blog

i cant explain it but the biohazard symbol has a grip on my brain like no other. this is me this symbol is me. im a biohazard im going to fucking explode. i feel the need to paint this symbol or other associated symbols on everything i create.
i think im hyperfixated on the fucking biohazard symbol.
PUNK PSA:
Please don’t put anything too political on your back patches— especially about your own marginalized experiences.
This has been a long standing rule in punk communities, passed down for generations. People do get jumped and experience violence as a result of this. You can’t see who is behind you, you can’t tell if they’re far right, and you can’t prepare yourself for sudden violence from behind.
So many people are new to the scene, introduced via social media, and don’t know the weight of walking with something on your back (literally and metaphorically) that immediately outs you as marginalized. If you’re able to defend yourself, or out with friends who can watch your back, by all means go for it and wear whatever you want on your back patches but if you walk alone at all ever, please be safe.
Also this is why punks wear spikes and studs on our shoulders especially. Makes it harder for someone to grab you and works as self defense (but also never wear spikes at a small show or if you plan to mosh— people can get hurt!).
There is a genre of person that seemingly believes that problems are simply not solvable ever. And they spawn in vent channels of public discord servers
i feel like one of the most punk things you can do nowadays is be a furry or therian/some form of alterhuman. theres nothing more punk than defying society as a whole and taking an interest in or straight up identifying as non-human beings.
like fuck yeah! wear your tail and mask! wear your fursuit! shits punk as hell and it does good by creating positive experiences for kids and really anyone that can find joy in these things.
i will never understand the hatred towards them, to be fair i grew up around the furry community and am apart of the alterhuman community but even then im not too involved in either. shits awesome
