They over shot their mini storm and made it a whole ass hurricane
ok as amazing as Twilight of Apprentice was how funny would it have been if Ahsoka was just beyond done with Anakin’s bullshit™ and just screamed “FUCK OFF SKYGUY” everytime she saw Vader
“The man you knew as Anakin Skywalker is de-”
“Cut the shit, Anakin, I know it’s you. You just flew in standing on top of your TIE fighter and there’s only one fucker in the galaxy who’s that extra”
Okay, so I find Riyo Chuchi to be a really interesting character, and this scene from the episode “Trespass” in season one is a fascinating look into her as a person and it’s a fascinating look into the Republic’s political climate at the beginning of the war. This entire episode is a chilling (ha) reminder of how little power the Jedi have, and this interaction is a brilliant one to include.
Because while Riyo isn’t one of the main protagonists, she’s still meant to be a sympathetic character, a character we like and a character we want to succeed. We know that she’s friends with Ahsoka, and we know that she’s at least friendly with Padme. Hell, right after this scene she has a kickass speech and saves the day! Riyo is pretty undeniably portrayed as a good guy to the viewer.
But Riyo still does a pretty huge fandom no-no, for lack of a better way to put it.
Because in this episode, Senator Riyo Chuchi asks the Jedi to negotiate on her planet’s behalf, and when the Council member present says that they can’t, Senator Chuchi changes her tone, and orders them to.
Now, thankfully, Riyo Chuchi is also a logical character, so when Obi-Wan tells her why he said no, she doesn’t fight him on it any further. But it still is fascinating to think about, because… the Jedi serve the Senate. Because even a Senator who’s friends with the “good guys” has no with issue using that fact to her advantage. Because the look that Obi-Wan and Anakin send each other implies that this has absolutely happened before.
It’s just… interesting to think about.
(But also, seriously, the implications throughout this entire episode are kind of horrifying??? Like, within the first two minutes of this episode, we see the Chairman, uh, remind Obi-Wan and Anakin that the Jedi serve the Senate, aka Senator Chuchi in this case, and Riyo then confirms that, leading to Obi-Wan standing down. And that’s pretty much the tone of the entire of the episode! It’s wack.)
This is cute... And they're all queens. No one can change my mind
Pssst, I need more Norika ships. Do you have any Norika ships that aren't Norika/Nae? (it's adorable but she can't be the only one crushing on my mermaid princess).
HELLO!!!! Finally an ask about my bubble bae
YES I /personally/ love Norika with Gabriella but also Nae/Norika/Gabriella in a poly relationship because NORIKA HAS TWO HANDS🙌🏻💙🌊
Because obviously the only other female GK would have a crush on tht wonderful being that Norika is and the poly ship because I think they would work out really well~
Also I don’t personally like love triangles and I’d rather see them all happy being a power lesbo trio🤷🏻♀️
a/n: daemon x rhaenyra x harwin
posting this little snippet because well.....I felt like it...the rest forthcoming this week 🔥
“It’s Laena.” Fresh wails sounded from the floor, Laenor’s fetal body bobbing with his sobs. “She’s dead.”
“How?” Harwin’s voice was taut, ready to defend at a moment’s notice. Rhaenyra shook her head to calm him, let him breathe. She wasn’t sure when it had happened—when she had learned to read his moods like they were her own, and he learned to read hers in return. Sometime around Luke’s birth probably, when she almost succumbed to the melancholia in the months after the delivery. He stayed with her almost round the clock, coming through the passageway in her chambers after her ladies and guard had bid her goodnight. He held her and whispered that everything would be okay. Even though they risked everything for those moments of comfort, for the joy in their sons eyes as they played with Laenor, for the family that would always be stained with his Strong blood, his Strong coloring.
That was why she refused to allow him to return to Harrenhal weeks ago, defying his father and refusing his birthright. Let them talk, she had said, they will whether we're together or not. Abandoning his family to be the lord of a half-destroyed keep while his father kept the king's council was not in his true interest. So he left King's Landing with young Joffrey under his protection while Rhaenyra and the rest flew on dragonback. He was devoted to her, and she trusted him. More than she could say for anyone else in her life.
He reached out to touch her face, drawing her attention back to him and away from the ugly shadows that followed them both.
“Childbirth,” she could barely say it. Her worst fear had come to fruition, not for her, but for her cousin. Her kin in more ways than one.
Daemon’s wife.
Daemon’s child within her.
Daemon.
Where was he? Mourning? Raging? Blaming himself? Probably a mix of all three if memory served her. She hadn’t seen him in years. Shortly after her wedding, he jumped into marriage with Laena and they rode off on dragonback to Essos. Last she had heard they were shacking up with a lord in Pentos, their two girls with them. While she’d seen Laena a few times at High Tide over the years, Daemon had always stayed behind. Hiding from his brother. Hiding from his duty. Hiding from her and those moments they’d shared when she was just a girl. When she swore he was going to do anything in his power to keep her by his side.
But then he disappeared.
A cough echoed off the stone walls. Her page stood at the door, kicking his feet, trying not to look at Laenor’s still shaking form. Rhaenyra nodded at Harwin, knowing her wishes would be followed. He bowed and crossed the short distance to her husband, hauling him up by the shirtsleeves.
“Come, my lord, let us go find Ser Qarl and maybe observe the boys and their swordplay.” Harwin supported Laenor as they left, his loud hiccups and sniffles reverberating long after their departure.
Rhaenyra turned and smiled at her page, steeling herself for what was sure to be an omen for the coming days.
“Your highness, the Blood Wyrm approaches.”
They’re having a very serious conversation about Cody’s behaviour (being mean to uncle Ben)

For the fairytale tropes: tricking a knowledge spirit. That just screams Jaster
“I will not help you find anything that is not already yours,” the spirit warns, and it’s a sharp thing, a threat.
Jaster doesn’t let himself be moved. “It is mine,” he says, and it’s more or less true—the Darksaber is his by right, by tradition, even if Tor is the one who holds it right now. Seeking out a Jedi, a being purely of the Force, is a risk, will test his ability to obfuscate, but to bring the Mandalorians together and end the civil war, it’s worth it.
The Zabrak stares at him for another long moment, then inclines his head. His body shimmers, and the unearthly blue bleeds away as he steps out of his Temple, approaches the edge of the stairs. Ghostly light becomes tan robes, dark skin, long black hair, and he steps out of the nexus of the Force where all Jedi live and into the real world.
“If it is yours, how was it taken from you?” he asks, and Jaster smiles.
“It’s an heirloom, and it was stolen long ago,” he says, precisely the truth. It simply wasn’t stolen from him. Tarre's descendants stole it from a Jedi Temple, long before the Jedi retreated fully into the Force.
The Jedi weighs his words for another moment, apparently finds truthfulness in them, and starts down the steps. Jaster falls in with him, trying not to stare, and asks, “You’ll help me retrieve it, then?”
“Your words are the truth,” the man says bluntly. “And in return, you have my word. I will remain until it is in your hands once more.”
Jaster doesn’t smirk, because that’s unbecoming, but he grins a little more widely than is likely seemly. “Thank you. I'm Jaster.”
“Agen,” the Jedi returns. “What was stolen from you, that you would go so far to retrieve it?”
“The Darksaber,” Jaster says, and now that he has Agen's word he doesn’t hesitate to admit it.
Agen stops dead, staring, and Jaster takes two more steps before he stops, turns, looks back. He raises a brow, still smiling, and says, “I never lied. Your word holds.”
There's a long, breathless moment, and then Agen snorts, amusement rising in his face. “You're correct,” he says. “My word is my bond, even now. You are clever with your words, Jaster Mereel.”
“And you are as quick as you are lovely,” Jaster returns, offering Agen his hand. Agen takes it, and Jaster wasn’t entirely sure what to expect of a Jedi, but his touch is warm, familiar, soft skin and calluses and a strong grip. He smiles, raising Agen's knuckles to his lips, and says, “Come, Agen. The Darksaber awaits.”
“Tarre will be most disappointed that he was not the one to answer your summons,” Agen says, and keeps walking down the stairs before Jaster can even begin to comprehend the implication that Tarre is still alive.
