gender is a performance, and i have shown up at the entirely wrong theater on the entirely wrong date.  the theater is closed, has been for years now, its windows boarded shut.  they are tearing it down soon to build a shiny new shopping mall that sells hrt pills and binders and fake boobs and gender affirming clothing.  my trans brethren and i rejoice as the ghosts of terfs wail and sob and scream in agony from the depths of hell.  the gender binary is no more.

Depression isn't just being sad. I can't just try not to think about it. I can't just cheer up. Don't tell me I'm ok when I'm crying or not eating. I let it drown me. It feels natural. The numbness feels good.

When my grandmother was sent a death threat through text message, I reported it to the police. The officer told me that "it's not considered a death threat unless the message mentions a weapon and a deadline".

As a result, they didn't do anything. Not even a verbal warning to that person.

Or, there's a double standard when it comes to billionaires and big corporations. Who'd have thought.
